What happened to Tripoli?
"Air Force" was on yesterday. The last we see the dog, Tripoli, is right before one of the waist gunners is wounded. The assistant crew chief (George Tobias) got this kinda bummed look on his face.

shareNear the end of the movie, when the plane was on the way to Australia he can be seen in the aircraft while the crew is talking. Right after the Japanese fleet was spotted and the antiaircraft fire started he started barking, and was last seen when the Japanese pursuit planes begain attacking. So it would seem Tripoli made it to Australia.
