B-Grade Cheeziness with historical value

The moment I spied the cover art for this movie I knew it would be Grade-B Cheese. However, I bought the movie nonetheless (five bucks) because every war movie has something to offer for us collectors/dealers/reenactors.

This movie did not disappoint; even though it was in Black & White, one gets to see great views of the uniforms of the period, especially the denim work uniform and the first-pattern one-piece HBT overalls.

Especially cool was to see the tools of the trade for gunnery training, the turrets mounted on the CCKWs.

And of course, there were the aircraft, with the unsung Lockheed Hudson in the starring role, supported by the T-6 Texan.

All the guns were .30s. I guess the .50s were busy being used "elsewhere".

Yeah, Hudson B-10s on parade. Nice to see all those AT-6s.

I noticed the overalls, too.
