'I'm Old Fashioned'

That song, damas y caballeros, is the best one in the entire film. In fact, watching Hayworth dancing so joyously with Astaire to it strengthens that conclusion!

Couldn't agree more!!

Like i said in the "Rita is just beautiful" post.

"After the "I'm Old Fashioned" sequence, i found myself feeling mesmerised, and sad at the same time. Mesmerised because Rita and Fred are breathtaking, and move like angels. Sad, because you'll never again see this innocence and beauty on film. And Oh boy, does the world today need these two!"

I've loved the "I'm Old Fashioned" scene in this movie for years---in fact, I wore out my old VHS version of the film and simply had to buy it again on DVD! Rita Hayworth is at her musical best in this dance sequence, not to mention that she is ravishingly graceful and beautiful in it too. Astaire is elegant and terrific, and as always, the greatest dancing partner. But it is Hayworth's genuine joy in dancing this number and her beautiful soul that so comes through in this wonderful scene. I could watch it forever...sigh.

Well said 1953calif!

Rita is so absolutely beautiful in this fim, and especially during this number, I try to show this dance sequence to anyone that shows an inkling of interest! The two are so graceful together, and whenever my wife watches it she always say "I love her dress, i love her dress."

Fred is top notch and Rita is indeed a beautiful soul (my wife understands my crush :)

Rita Hayworth is an angel in this film. She is stunningly beautiful. I envy Fred Astaire having had such a graceful dancing partner. I only wish they had made more than two movies together. The other being "You'll Never Get Rich". This song "I'm Old Fashion" is the best in a great group of songs in the film.

It's my favorite part of the movie. I have watched it over and over again.

Her dress is my favorite part of that scene. I'd love to own one just like it.
