Is there really a long staircase like shown in the movie in the White House ? The same was used in the movie "Princess O'Rourke ".

The staircase may have existed then, but it may be gone now. The mansion was gutted and the interior rebuilt during the Truman administration. The whole structure was reinforced at the same time.
