Freddie Bartholemew
I thought Freddie looked terrific as a grown up. He appeared to be suave and sophisticated in a youthful manner. I don't know why his career didn't continue into his older years. I thought he was quite good.

shareYeah, but who went bonzo with the tweezers? His eyebrows are as thin as Fay Wray's! Someone should've used a little more restraint and a little less wrist action.dolceri ac dolcere
LOL! 6 years later...
I agree, his eyebrows were mad. He looked ridiculous - men didn't man-scape back then...from what I can tell, at least. Women were certainly heavy-handed with the tweezers in those days but strangely enough the one women who needed tweezers, eschewed them in latter years: Joan Crawford - those brows were out of control!

Thanks, Sugarminx! A laugh is equally welcome six years after the fact, than it would have been *right on the spot*. Heck -- I'd forgotten I'd thrown this comment into the mix.
I stand by it, though. Some make-up "artist" felt Mr.Bartholemew's brows were just the teensiest too... *lively*, and toned 'em down a bit. I've gotta wonder what poor Freddie said when he looked into the mirror.
