Peter Graves as bombadier?

Are you people certain that this is indeed the American actor best remembered as the lead in TV's Mission: Impossible series as "Bombardier"? Born March 18, 1926, he would have been barely two months past his 16th birthday on this picture's listed opening date (May 28, 1942), let alone whenever they filmed the damned thing. And it is said he graduated high school in 1944, two years after this. Surely it's just somebody who resembles him, or--if actual records yielded the name--the British actor Peter Graves (II) (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0336336/), born in 1911 and who would have been in his early 30s at this time. Which is it?

It's probably an "Elvis sighting" as IMDb calls them. Contributors often think they see famous people in bit roles the way others will see Elvis's face in a grilled cheese sandwich. I asked about it here: imdb.com/board/bd0000042/nest/180022261.

From everything I have seen, he didn't even start acting in movies until the early 1950s so I rather doubt it is him. Even his older brother, James Arness, didn't begin acting in films until 1947.
