DVD commentary

The audio commentary on the DVD for this film, by Frank Coniff (of MST 3000 fame) has to be one of the worst commentaries ever. He does the entire commentary as if he's completely bored to tears by the film, yet unbelievably keeps repeating over and over what a great A&C fan he is. At one point in the commentary, at the moment when Lou's character wins the $10,000, he isn't even aware that the backgroun music ("You're A Lucky Fellow, Mr. Smith") is from "Buck Privates". And he calls himself a fan?

Yes, and he says Margaret Dumont might have been good for role but that she probably thought she was above working in an Abbott and Costello film---of course, she DID work in an Abbott and Costello film! And he has other facts wrong as well. Very disappointing.
