golden gate bridge


in the opening, there is an arial shot of the golden gate bridge. it looks like the cars were on the wrong side of traffic like london.

I didn't notice, but the most logical explanation would be the film negative got reversed by accident during printing. Other than that, I haven't a clue.

I saw that too, and I am sure it was just a reverse film mistake too.


However, it was not the Golden Gate bridge. it was the Oakland Bay bridge.

An unofficial name of the bridge is The James "Sunny Jim" Rolph Bridge – but this name has rarely been used, and it was not widely recognized until the bridge's 50th-anniversary celebrations in 1986. The official name of the bridge for all functional purposes has always been the San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge, and by most local people it is widely referred to as simply "The Bay Bridge".

Thanks for the correction about the Golden Gate Bridge. I noticed it had an "island" pillar that only went as high as the roadway. It didn't look like the GGB to me.
