It's Casablanca isn't it

Is it just me, or is Thunder Rock rather simular to Casablanca?
The hero, who used to fight for the cause, finds himself dis-illusioned (ok, different reasons), and retreats from the world (The lighthouse=Ric's Cafe)untill re-awakened by visitors from the outside world/

And whilst at it.. Has it ever struck anyone that "Lost Horizon" is the anti- Casablanca?

The hero- the fighter against all thats bad, is taken out of the big bad world. For reasos, re-enters, but this time decides, sorry world, I'm back to my cafe/lighthouse? Sort it out yourself, without me (Translation, I'm with Lindburg, America, we are leaving Europe to stew)

I hadn't thought of it in this way, but I think you're correct.

[And then my parents gave me "The Kid's Guide to Hitchhiking" for my birthday...]
