I can't believe Mangold would not include that...it would have ranked high on the "best scene" lists!
I watched that, and in the commentary, he states that Meg's expression alone was worth the scene.
I've watched the regular version quite a few times, but I just watched the director's cut for the first time - and as soon as Stewart mentioned that Leopold was his great... etc. Grandfather... OMG I realized that he had dated his Great... Etc. GRANDMOTHER!
EEEUUUUW!
That put the plot over the top for me!
