I disagree. The dog-pooping scene in "Pink Flamingos" made perfect sense and I consider that to be a romance flick. Perhaps you should check it out!!!

It may have been edited for TV. Did not see it. Do not think it does anything but enter a 'Toilet bowl humor' shot.

I did see the poop scene in both DVD versions, so apparrently, the TV editors took it out on their version.
