Last movie

This is the last movie I ever watched with my mother so it will always hold a special place in my heart. She loved old movies, especially musicals, and was the one who got me interested in the old Hollywood stars. Betty Grable was one of her childhood favorites and she was so excited when she came to visit and saw that TCM was showing this movie. I made her a cup of coffee and brought out a plate of Girl Scout Thin Mints and put a blanket over our laps and I watched as my mom lost herself in the "old days" one last time. It brings a smile to my face now just writing about it. I hope someone else feels the joy I felt while watching this movie with their elderly mom or dad.

My Mom was a Betty Grable fan and as a small child I saw all of her movies. We used to play Betty Grable and I always got to be Betty. Mom had to be Harry James.

What a beautiful story. Thanks for sharing it. This is one of my favorite Fox musicals.

I recently became a fan of Betty Grable. I haven't sen this movie, yet, but I seen that it will be comming up on TCM. So, I thought I would check it out. I love old movies with romance and musicals. They don't make them like this anymore.

My favorite Betty Grable movie is Moon Over Miami. I also like Mother Wore Tights. And she is the reason I like How to Marry a Millionaire. Unfortunately, I really haven't seen any other of her films, but plan too. Starting with this one!
