Waiting Impatiently for the DVD

When, oh, WHEN will the copyright holder get smart and release "Springtime in the Rockies" on DVD? Betty Grable movies sell well in this format and it is amazining to me that this title has yet to be done.

I agree!

I burned a copy of "Springtime in the Rockies"on DVD and it turned out quite well.If you want a copy give me a message and I will be glad to burn it for you just for the price of mailing it to you.I don't mind doing it for those that have appreciation for some movies that are not available on DVD but don't make it a habit of pursuing this type of situation. The old movies to me are appreciated especially when it comes to those of the classic era with clean and fine acting not so much found in todays movies.

Over a year later and still waiting for this on DVD. Carmen Miranda and Edward Everett Horton costar in this with Grable and Henry James... come on, people!

Yet another year later and still only available on VHS.

I'm glad it's finally coming on TCM, next Wednesday night, 8 Sep 2010. At least I'll be able to get a higher quality copy than buying the VHS tape.

I am still waiting for a DVD version of this fave film! I check Amazon every few months and my quest has been unfulfilled as of yet! Please publish this in DVD format!

<tap, tap, tap> Well?

I found a couple of sites that have this on DVD:

vicpine.co.uk -- all region DVD - free worldwide shipping - 16 pounds.

ioffer.com - has DVD for $9.99

Amazon has a lot of her movies on DVD but not this one. There is a four disc set - called VOL 1. This movie isn't on it - maybe Vol 2 will have it.

Check eBay also.

You can DVR it the next time it comes to TCM.
