It must have been kind of a slap in the face, with a all the money Kincaid was throwing around, right after the depression, then the war. Lots of sound static on the TCM print.. but picture quality is pretty good.

shareThis must be PD. It was a Walter Wanger film but his name is wiped off the credits. That explains why the quality of the copy is poor. There are no vault materials for Wanger films.This got Oscar nominations for set design and Victor Young' s music, but essentially it is an independent film.

Being a Priscilla Lane fan however, I really enjoyed getting to see the movie as it isn't played too often. I found it enjoyable.
