A remake wouldn't be a bad idea, but I can only think of Jim Carey as Red Skelton's role...

shareGreat film, I loved the dancing, the story about the mine is silly, of course, but in great fun. Skelton is very good, especially with the physical comedy, but the star is Eleanor Powell with her incredible dancing and smile. She was one of a kind. 9/10
