Most hilarious scene?

I enjoyed the film, even if it was sort of a different type of Holmes film with the obvious WWII overtones. However, I found one scene really hilarious. When Moriarty is torturing Dr. Tobel, what is he actually doing? Tobel is screaming and twisting in agony, supposedly passing out; but, from all I could see Moriarty had two thugs hold his arms back while he lifted his legs up. I'm sure that the torture was supposed to be inferred, but aside from three men holding on to him, it didn't look like Tobel was an any serious duress.

by then he's prob. had little sleep and other froms of torture

The bomb range that was obviously in the American Southwest.

Perhaps the OP just wants to reach out for some sense of community.

How sick must someone be to call this 'most hilarious', I wonder. :-(
How is it hilarious when someone is obviously under torture, though no blood is to be seen, rendering the torture 'hilarious'?

Quite strange!

Are you really serious dude? Oh my.

I'm not calling torture hilarious -- should I really have to make that clear or apparent? I'm saying that the way in which the filmmakers portrayed the torture was hilarious. They lifted the guy off the ground. Torture? Ok. If they started tickling his feet as a form of torture and I said that was hilarious do I need to put some kind of trigger warning up first?

Look dude, this is a low-budget, wartime, public domain film -- it has got some dated and silly scenes in it, this being one of them. Yes. It's funny that the filmmakers' scene of torture was lifting the guy off of the ground. That's not torture.

I'm sick because I call out a campy part of a campy movie from the 1940s? Ok.
