Near the end of the movie, Champ refers to the Nazis as "Bremers", I think. Was this a common nickname? I had never heard Bremer before. Looking at the cast of characters, maybe he said (Paul) Brenner, but I thought I heard him say the word as plural.

He did say "Brenners" as a reference to the Nazi spy in the film. Sort of like calling the Sub's crew a bunch of sneaky Nazis. I think the film was also trying to downplay Jimbo's shooting of Brenner in the back, by implying that was what a sneaky Nazi deserved.
