Ginger's Acting
Ginger could certainly act and act very well. She proved it in this movie although she had already won an Oscar for "Kitty Foyle."
I've just watched "I'll Be Seeing You" and I thought she was wonderful in it.
Yes, Ginger was an amazing actress, dancer, and singer. She was perfect in every role she did...
It's a shame that sometimes she gets a bad rap for some of the roles she plays because members of the Audience think her performance is over the top or she is over acting... When they just can't seem to realize, that is how the Character is supposed to be.
(It makes one wonder how many of their friends won't see Ginger's films, because of misplaced bad reviews they were given.)
I have to admit though, some of her characters are not all that likeable, for whatever reason... But that is the fault of the writers. NOT THE ACTRESS!
