Did Ginger Hurt Herself When Roxie "Fainted"?

Towards the end of of the film, Roxie is kneeling in front of the Juror box, and "faints"... Ginger hits her head on the wood base moulding at the bottom of the box, before finally coming to rest on the courtroom floor further below.

There seems to be nothing to be gained by her doing this, since none of the characters around her mentioned this, and since ROXIE was pretending to faint, and be out cold anyway, until her picture was taken later, hitting this moulding is pointless. So...

I know Ginger was an amazing actress and a dedicated professional, but it seems to me that hitting her head on that moulding, in that the little stunt, was quite unintentional.

In some of her other films it seems she frequently tends to take a beating from various planned falls, but when you plan to fall onto the FLOOR, you can be prepared for it. In some movies, I know that floors have even be replaced with foam padding. I feel quite certain that the molding was plain old hard wood, and she was not bracing for that.

While we all know she was fine later on... I hope that she was not hurt too much at that time. (It looked like it must have hurt to me.)
