Such a sweet movie

I remember my mom showed me this movie when I was little and I loved it. However, I forgot about it as the years passed. But I saw it at a local shop recently and all the memories of how sweet and tender this little 40's gem is came flooding back and I bought it and researched it.

So good. Not cheesy or stupid or unbelievable. Just a sweet little story about love and loss and sacrifice for that love. What a wonderful classic.

I agree, it is a sweet, lovely movie. Charles fell in love with the same woman twice, in very different circumstances, due to his amnesia. It was obvious he was so in love with Paula, and later was also very deeply in love with Margaret, not realizing until the end that Paula and Margaret were the same person. Just love this movie and this romantic story of lost and found love.

You're so right. What a great movie. And the ending is simply perfect. Chokes me up every time.

Honestly the most underrated movie I know. Utterly magnificent.
