Harry James fans. Or Andrews Sisters fans.

This is not a movie to watch for an interesting story, it is wartime and the story is only there to facilitate the musical numbers. Harry James was I suppose 25 here, already with his own big band and was perhaps the best trumpeter in the early 1940s. He plays, conducts, acts. Any fan of Harry James should see this movie.

Also The Andrews Sisters. They are young and cute as can be, and sing several of their hits.

Just a fun throwback to the 1940s.

It was good to hear a whole load of songs that I had never heard before. My favourites from the Andrew Sisters in this is 'Six Jerks In A Jeep' and 'Remember That's The Moon, My Sun.' They're great novelty songs. And the Jeep scene was a really joyous piece. Loved it.
