Was Gehrig a nervous person?
Throughout the movie Gary Cooper gave these kinda nervous, paranoid looks when people were around. Was Gehrig known to be shy/socially awkward, or was this just something Gary Cooper himself did?
shareLou was very shy and awkward, he was a major wallflower. It wasn't until he married that he started coming out of his shell. It was Eleanor that got him to do ad's and he even made a movie where he played ... Lou Gehrig. None of that would have happened if he hadn't married her.
