20th Century Fox - PAY ATTENTION!

Why this film has not been released on DVD by 20th Century Fox, I'll never know. The songs are magical - in a nostaglic for the 1890s when it's the 1940s kind of way. Rita is at the peak of her beauty. Her dancing is as sexy as ever. Victor Mature gives such a great performance as a balls-out songwriter. And its in gorgeous shades of technicolor. There's more merit to this film than almost any of it's genre and period.

Release this film on a 2-disc DVD with Blood and Sand. And call it "Rita Hayworth at 20th Century Fox"

After all, without this studio, Columbia would not have known what to do with her.
