He had acromegaly and put it to good use !

"He put it to good use"? And with an exclamation point yet?

Acromegaly is a horrific and invariably terminal disease that not only causes grotesque disfigurement but is exceptionally painful. The disease lasts years and its effects are progressive. Those who suffer from it lead terrible lives with no hope of a cure.

To say that Rondo Hatton (the correct spelling, as an easy check of the cast could have told you) "put it to good use", and add "!" at the end as if he had a beautiful singing voice or dramatic talent or some other light and admirable quality he could employ, is disgusting and asinine. Rondo Hatton turned to making appearances in Hollywood films because he found it impossible to earn enough in other professions and was persuaded that by turning himself into a freak for the movies he could make a living. He did, but it was the crassest sort of exploitation of a terrible malady, which some people in Hollywood were all too willing to take advantage of.

Rondo Hatton had to make the best of a bad situation. But to write of this as if it were some stroke of artistic genius or that he enjoyed being seen as an ogre is idiotic and heartless. I guarantee he would have infinitely preferred not to have been afflicted with this disease than to achieve minor fame as a living horror for people to gawk at. Playing "the Creeper" (which he did only twice, not "several" times) was typical of the cruel portrayals this poor man was obliged to make. It was hardly a landmark accomplishment in his shortened life.

Your post is bizarre, tasteless and just plain stupid.
