It is....I thought she did a great job as her mother as well, wonder why she didn't play other rolls (????)

She seemed very lovely. How great is that? Being in a movie with your mother. She was very believable too.

Here's Lela Rogers' bio.

A very accomplished person.

Yeah - and it certainly was effortless to "buy" Ginger as her, when Ginger assumed her identity.

I thought it was errie how good Ginger was, how much these two actresses looked alike -- and then I heard she really was her mother! It was one of those *bing* moments. Talent obviously runs in the family.

Sure it is! Although I didn't realize it was her till I saw the final credits! I just thought it was some character actress of the period that was unknown to me. She certainly did a splendid job, and I wish she had had a longer screen time in this movie, or even played more roles in other movies.

Very cool! I noticed the name Lela Rogers at the beginning and wondered if there was any relation. Then seeing Ginger pretending to be her mother confirmed it. They looked alike.

When I first saw this, I thought Ginger Rogers was playing both parts! Such a resemblance!

It was cool to finally see her mom. Was her mom ever an actress?
