Fyi, if you're still looking for it, it has been reissued by Gaumont in France, and you can get it from Amazon (probably amongst others) here:

I find the restoration (both sound and picture) absolutely amazing and flawless for a film that old. The main feature has French (hearing impaired version) subtitles, but no English subtitles, unfortunately, and it comes with a special feature, which is a documentary (interviews with modern movie experts talking about films and film-making from that era, and "La Main du Diable" in particular, obviously), in French without any subtitles at all.
