Statuette of Saint

They pray to an orthodox saint, who is depicted as a knight kneeling with an orthodox cross. Who is this saint? I think she called him st. John, but I'm not sure that's right.

That is a Cross of Lorraine, a symbol of France and used by the Free French Forces. An Orthodox Cross would have a third (sometimes only a second), shorter, tilted bar.

The saint for whose intercession she is praying is Joan of Arc (Jeanne d'Arc), canonized in 1920 and another symbol of France. She is usually depicted wearing full 15th-century armor.
