Originally a United Artists release
This film was originally released by United Artists in 1942. And believe it or not, but this print circulates among collectors.

The movie was actually made by Paramount which sold it and a couple of other movies to United Artists because UA needed some more films to fill their quota gaps. I think the other titles were rather minor but it is a suprise Paramount sold this one with major stars, a major director, and the potential to be a major hit. I'm guessing UA sold it themselves at some point.
shareIt might be that United Artists were more of a distributing company in the early 1940s. Plenty of movies in the later 1940s had the UA logo card on their title scenes.
