Perhaps 'Inglourious Basterds' will draw people back to this film...

...which, I must admit, is pretty terrible. But the parallels between the 2 are not hard to spot. It even ends with the assassination of Hitler (by his own troops, I think).

I bought an old copy of this years ago on VHS, which is the only reason I've seen it, as I think it's unavailable on DVD.

The war is not meant to be won... it is meant to be continuous

Well, LargeStuffedWolf, Hitler: Dead or Alive is available on DVD in the set called "Weird Cinema: 15 Freaky Flicks", a collection of 15 fifteen films from the cinema of the obscure, the strange, and the unbelievable.

I am, in fact, watching Hitler: Dead or Alive right now because of the fact that Quentin Tarantino said it was one of the inspirations for his version of Inglourious Basterds.

Here's linkage for the sets page on Amazon.com:

...hope this helps...

***and as always, that's just my opinion, others may vary***
