The user comment describes the play, upon which this film was based, as "one of Broadway's most successful comedies of the early nineteen-forties." How can that be true if it lasted not even five months and only 173 performances?

As of today, this film IS available at Amazon on VHS tape (what's THAT? does anyone still have a VHS player...?) if you like this film, see also another Wm Keighley 1942 film the Man Who Came to Dinner, taken from the stage play, like this one. Both shows starred Ann Sheridan, and were written by Moss/Hartman. Both have little twists at the end. This one has Hattie McDaniel too. Fun.
