Missing Scenes

Madeleine LeBeau is listed in the cast as Anna Held, and Mike Mazurki is listed as Jake Kilrain, yet when this movie was on TCM, neither appeared. Does anyone know if there's another version of this film with their scenes intact?

I bought this film through iTunes, Madeleine LeBeau is in the film, but Mazurki is not. Madeleine's appearance is so brief that if one blinked you'd miss her. I, too, was looking for Madeleine since she's listed as one of the prominent cast members near the top of the cast listing for this movie. Yet, her appearance is about 15 seconds with Errol. Madeleine plays a prominent socialite (Anna Held) known for being seen and escorted by handsome men. At about an hour and 20 minutes into the film she appears with Errol at a play house, located in a loge box at the upper level (2nd level), where they are being seated. There is no dialogue between Anna and Jim for the dialogue centers amongst Alexis, her father and her mother, who notices Madeleine's character, Anna Held, arriving to her loge section for seating with Jim. Using binoculars, Alexis' mother notices her entrance, heralds her appearance, then hands the binoculars over to her daughter (Alexis), who desires to see who "is" Anna Held's escort. Subsequently, she sees for herself to her dismay that Anna's escort is Jim. Next, we see Anna Held (Madeleine) just sitting with Jim. The scene was about 30 seconds in toto, 15 seconds showing Errol and Anna w/no dialogue. That is the extent of Yvonne's (Casablanca)...er Madeleine's appearance in the film.

I wanted to see more of Madeleine, as well, for I thought she was just as attractive as Ingrid Bergman in Casablanca. Hoping for more of a role in Gentleman Jim, given her prominence in the cast listing, was duly disappointed that her role was nothing more than essentially a cameo for a few seconds.
