Now available on DVD!

A company called Belle & Blade has just introduced the movie on DVD (actually DVD-R). It is the longer 114 minute version, with no frills, though there are 22 chapter stops. The price is $24.95 plus shipping.

Go to www.warshows.com and send them an email, as the DVD does not yet appear in their online catalog.

I got my copy (with no frills at all) on the Mill Creek 20 Movie Pack called "Combat Pack"... And I realize I'm in the minority here, but I kinda found this film... Dull. Sorry.
But not to worry, every other reviewer liked this one, so I realize something's wrong with me...

Good Day..

Trust me,
Swan

Or alternatively; get yourself a multi-region DVD player and subscribe to the `Daily Mail'. They're currently giving it away free with a bunch of other wartime oldies on a one-per-day basis.

I got it in the 50 movie pack Combat box set available at Amazon.com, I think I paid under 35 cents a movie. I put Spitfire (this one) on first and I'm reminded of the joke "I went to a fight and a hockey game broke out", except this one is I went to watch a war movie and a love story took over, had to turn it off very early on, not in the mood to see Leslie Howard design the Spitfire, I wanted to see Niven shoot down Nazi fighters! But this set is worth it there are a lot of war movie that are never shown on cable tv in this thing! I can only watch The Dirty Dozen and Where Eagles Dare so many times!
