FRATERNITY LANE
Written by Platinum Dan and Magic400

Plot:
Welcoming their new brothers, the Alpha Zeta fraternity is hosting a huge, alcohol-fueled costume party on Bid Day by the end of Hell Week. The fresh meats have joined the fraternity and shall be officially accepted into the wilderness of Greek life tonight.
But they might not be getting the welcome they so wished for. Someone else walks among them, waiting and watching. As the party rages throughout the house, the loyalty of brotherhood is tested in a game of life and death, pulling in some of their girlfriends, hosted by an unseen killer who intends to pick them off, one by one.
When the brothers realize that they are threatened by a sly, scythe-wielding killer, they race to figure out who wants them dead and why, and how to fight back as the bodies pile up.

Scene 1 – Welcome to Alpha Zeta

There’s darkness and nothing more. Only blackness. Suddenly, a sigh of relief breaks the silence, followed by a voice:

VOICE: Here we go.

It suddenly opens in an empty room that seems to be a dorm room, but we’re not sure if it belongs to a boy or a girl, or if it’s inside a fraternity or a sorority house. A shadowed figure hits the light switch and the room goes dark just before the human figure exits and closes the door gently.

Silence.

Cut to a very nice looking neighborhood. The houses are big and clean, the streets are crowded with young college people having a great time: Girls chanting as a group of younger girls standing in front of them, all smiling widely. A group of boys singing the American anthem in front of another group of younger boys that are laughing, but honored. Across the street is another group of boys playing a beer game as a young boy chugs through a hose, and the beer streams straight into his beer-fuming mouth. All the boys cheer him on with “Chug! Chug! Chug!”. There’s only one reason that they’re celebrating -- and that’s the end of rush week.

Across the street in front of a huge house are a bunch of young, variously good looking boys but most of them seem athletic or smart. They’re all waiting for something in front of the Alpha Zeta senior household, where only seniors and juniors live. Right next to that house is another big house as well, only meant for freshmen and sophomores.
Yes, Alpha Zeta is that big.

By the front portico stands a group of young gentlemen, all classified into four rows, each row wearing shirts of different color, but all have black ties. The front row classifies sophomores in light-pink shirts. The second row classifies juniors in light-green shirts. The third and fourth row classifies seniors, but the difference between the third row and the fourth one is that the forth one, despite all being in white shirts, have only three men standing at the top step -- all three in tux-black suits, white shirts and black ties, perfect hairdo exposing how rich they are. The first word that would pop into your head would be “controlling”.

Standing in the middle is a tall, dark haired, young man – Aiden Jennings. He’s 21 years old, a senior, the house president since junior year and a wealthy bastard.

By his right side is his “right hand man” -- Nolan Miller, the vice president and Aiden’s sidekick. He’s 21 years old as well and a senior. Aiden and Nolan have been friends ever since they joined the brotherhood of Alpha Zeta.

By Aiden’s left hand was the rebellious Texan, Brad Anderson -- a very sexually active frat brother. He’s 22 and a senior like the two mentioned above.

NOLAN MILLER: They’re late.

AIDEN JENNINGS: No, they’re not. Just wait.

Suddenly, rowdy screams from the distance shattered the silence on the portico, and a group of at least 10 male freshmen run up to the Alpha Zeta senior household.

AIDEN: (to the other rows) Go get ‘em!

The guys in the rows below them scream and shout as they run towards the group of freshmen. It’s like a war, only it’s just a ritual greeting for the new members of Alpha Zeta. Within a few seconds the two groups crash into each other and form into a big pile of fraternity brothers. The screams, yells and laughter crack a smile on Aiden’s face. He’s obviously proud of the picks for this year.

All the current fraternity brothers are united, new and older ones. The scream-sing becomes faster with every second: “Alpha Zeta! Alpha Zeta! Alpha Zeta! Alpha Zeta! Alpha-Zeta! Alpha-Zeta! AlphaZetaAlphaZetaAlpha—Zeeeeta!”

Aiden walks over to his brothers, followed by Nolan and Brad. The cheering, clapping and screaming slows to a stop as Aiden approaches. The older brothers get all their new brothers in the middle in front of Aiden, Noland and Brad.

AIDEN: Brothers, as most of you have realized you’ve made the cut to become one of us. From now on you’re an Alpha. But not only will you be an Alpha over the next four years, but for the rest of your life.

Brad shoots Nolan a smirk.

AIDEN: We’re Alpha Zeta. (beat) “We may fall one by one but we’ll stand… one blood, one fraternity”.

NOLAN: And you guys remember that for the rest…of your life.

Aiden slowly turns around and gives Nolan a cold look for interrupting him.
Within the pledge crowd a young man, Trevor Vanderbilt makes it clear to another pledge, Shane Johnston. Both men are 18 years old and thrilled to have gotten into Alpha Zeta.
Aiden turns back around and faces his brothers.

AIDEN: (guiding) New brothers, your rooms are ready inside the freshmen and sophomore house on your right hand. All you need to do is pack your junk that’s still at your dorm, say goodbye to that sad life and hello to the suite life!

TREVOR VANDERBILT: (applausing) Yeah!

All the newly baked brothers give Aiden their applause as he turns around and heads back to the house. Nolan follows him, but Brad approaches them.

BRAD ANDERSON: Gentlemen… There’s one thing about Alpha Zeta parties after rush week you must keep in mind.

The brothers listen, waiting for an answer.

BRAD: Make sure you get wasted like you’ve never been before and always, and I repeat always, have at least three condoms in your wallets.

Brad smiles and playfully hits the shoulder of Manny Beckett, a 17 year old African-American boy. Then Brad takes off. Manny smiles, and Trevor turns to him.

TREVOR: That man’s my idol.

MANNY BECKETT: Really?

TREVOR: Uh huh. He’s got the looks, the charms, the money and… the ladies.

SHANE JOHNSTON: I’ve heard the rumors. You know, about the legend.

MANNY: What legend?

SHANE: I’m so not telling you guys right now. When I’m drunk enough tonight just remember to ask me.

Shane chuckles and shakes his head before taking off. Trevor and Manny walk together down the lawn and wander along the sidewalk.

TREVOR: So, Alpha Zeta. Are you a legacy too?

MANNY: Me? Nah. I guess I’m one of the lucky ones.

TREVOR: No one’s lucky in Alpha Zeta. You must be real good. What matters is your background, and no one with low quality standards can pass through the gates of hell.

Manny laughs in amusement.

TREVOR: I’m Trevor, by the way. (shakes hands) And someone told me you were Mann—

MANNY: Manny Beckett. Nice to meet you, man.

TREVOR: It looks like we’re gonna be brothers for the rest of our lives so I thought I’d use the chance to get to know most of you before it’s all over.

MANNY: Dude, four years will fly by in no time.

TREVOR: Tell me about it.

They continue their little walk down the street.

Cut to a big sorority house. A few girls are outside in the front yard playing volleyball in bright colored tank tops and tight shorts. In some way, it’s like girl heaven. Everything is clean and perfect. The front door suddenly opens and two sorority sisters exit the house. Inside are even more girls in all kinds of nice, summer dresses, bright colored T-shirts, white pants or jeans, and their hairstyles are almost picture-perfect. It’s the Delta Pi Omega sorority household.

Inside the chapter room upstairs, a girl of confidence stands in front of a big amount of freshman girls seated and listening carefully. The walls are lined with photos of past Delta Pi Omegas. The girl at the front is Ivy DeStefano, a 21 year old, red haired beauty with a soul made of steel. She’s the ultimate sorority leader.

IVY DESTEFANO: As most of you girls know, us sisters in Delta Pi Omega are not just like any other sorority on frat lane. We’re the best of the rest and unless you fail to show us what you’re really made of, then you can pack your bags and go home. You’ve all been selected because we know and trust you, but “sisters of diversity, together as one”.

The new sisters give Ivy the applause she deserves.

IVY: (smiles) However, tonight has no limits. This is your night and all of you deserve to have as much fun as you want. (smirks, chuckles) I know I did when I joined Delta.

A girl standing by the door out on the hall raises her voice. It’s Jennifer “Jenny” Reed, a 22 year old smart and independent sorority sister. One of Delta Pi Omega’s top students.

JENNY REED: But keep in mind that we don’t want any drunken pictures of you on your Facebook, Twitter, MySpace or any social networking accounts you have. Everything must be deleted.

SORORITY PLEDGE: But what if we’re tagged? Then what?

A girl enters the chapter room, chuckling after overhearing them, a bottle of Corona beer jolting in her hand. It’s Angela Hendrickson, 20, spoiled and somewhat one of the few “trashy” sorority sisters in the household.

ANGELA: Then we’ll make you do something you wish you’d never have to do again. (shrugs) Clean the entire downstairs and second floor, clean the pool or serve me and Ivy for the rest of the week. Or perhaps wipe Mrs. Slater’s ass.

IVY: Exactly. Just don’t let any of pictures of you drinking or being drunk, sharing saliva with a guy… or a girl… or having sex for all I care, make its way on the net – tagged or untagged.

The seated sisters nod in agreement.

IVY: You girls have the rest of the day to prepare the costume you’re wearing for tonight. (smile) I think it’s safe to say that we’re done for the day.

Ivy flips her hair and walks over to Angela and Jenny. Meanwhile, the new sisters stand up and leave the room.

IVY: So everything’s set?

ANGELA: More than set. I’m telling you, this will top last year’s graduation party.

JENNY: How is that even remotely possible? You do remember how Slater went all ape sh-t on us back then, right?

IVY: Who cares what Mrs. Slater tells us? Alpha Zeta is hosting the party, not us. All we have to do is avoid the paparazzi and get wasted.

Angela raises her bottle.

ANGELA: Cheers, sluts.

Then she takes a gulp of beer. Ivy smirks and turns to Jenny, who’s glaring at Angela’s alcohol abuse.

IVY: Jenny, you’re playing designated driver tonight.

JENNY: Me? No. Nah-ah. It’s not my turn, it’s Carol’s.

ANGELA: Didn’t she stay at home last time? She definitely picked me up then.

JENNY: She picked you up two weeks ago at a bar on a school night. Brenda was driver the last time and now it’s Carol’s turn.

IVY: (annoyed by Jenny) Uh, fine, whatever. Just tell Carol to stay awake. That bitch always falls asleep when she’s needed.

Ivy exits the chapter room and Angela follows.

ANGELA: (O.S., to Ivy) So what’re you wearing tonight?

Jenny takes a moment, then exits the room and closes the door.

Cut to an upstairs bedroom in the Alpha Zeta freshman/sophomore house. Shane stuffs his suitcase on a bed under a window. Suddenly, a knock on the door frame startles Shane. He spins around and sees a young man in the doorway. He puts his suitcases down on the floor.

SHANE: Yes?

JOHN: Hi, I’m John. You’re Shane, right?

SHANE: Yeah. (beat) Are we, uh, rooming together?

JOHN: I guess so.

John looks at a paper he’s holding and reads:

JOHN: “Room 3 – John Michael Harris & Shane Johnston”.

SHANE: Too bad I got the better bed.

John enters, crosses the room and stuffs his bags on an empty bed.

The view cuts to another freshman/sophomore dorm room. Trevor stands at the window, looking out over the campus. The door creaks open and Trevor turns to face the visitor. It's Manny.

TREVOR: Hey new brother. What're you doing here?

MANNY: This is my room, I believe.

He double checks his paper. "Room 7 - Manny Beckett and Trevor Vanderbilt".

MANNY: Yeah, it is.

Trevor smiles brightly.

TREVOR: Awesome. I was afraid I was going to get stuck with some weird new guy.

Manny laughs and throws his things on the unoccupied bed.

MANNY: Well you can stop worrying about it now. We'll be rooming together this year.

TREVOR: Nice.

Trevor glances out the window. He then beckons Manny over.

TREVOR: Check out this view, man. Delta Pi Omega sorority house is right across the street. Look at the girls! They're everywhere!

Manny joins Trevor and the two quietly take in their new fraternity life as Alpha Zeta's.

Scene 2 – Of Monks and Showers

Mid-afternoon. The campus seems just the same as the day before. People about, cars going by, fraternities alive with news of the party and the sorority buzzing with gossip. The camera pans over the green grass and the college life. It settles on the campus library.

An unlikely place for most of the Alpha Zeta members but nonetheless, two brothers are found inside.

Lloyd Dunham, 21, returns to a table with two books in his hand. He lets them drop.

Gabe Limon, 21, glances up from the book he already has in hand. Gabe comments on the book selection in his gentleman’s tone, the voice he often spoke in.

GABE LIMON: What you got there?

Lloyd points his finger at the book to indicate them as he speaks.

LLOYD DUNHAM: “Costume Party for Dummies” and “Alcohol: How to Improve the Experience and Reduce the Aftermath”

Gabe pulls the “Costume Party for Dummies” book towards him.

GABE: Doesn’t Aiden have everything planned out already? What do we need this for?

LLOYD: This…

There’s a beat as Lloyd snatches the book from Gabe.

LLOYD: Is for the dumb pledges so they can be prepared for the party.

GABE: Aiden already lectured them on the party this morning. They all have to wear the…

LLOYD: (interjecting) Monk robes. Right. Do we have to wear those too?

Gabe nods. He closes the book in his hands.

LLOYD: Damn, that thing makes me look obese.

GABE: I’m sure you‘ll look fine.

LLOYD: You don’t know the half of it, dude.

Gabe just laughs and shrugs his shoulders. He stands up and collects the books Lloyd had brought over. He begins to exit the library. Lloyd begins to follow when a sorority sister catches his attention. He attempts at a seductive growling noise.

LLOYD: Alpha Zeta party. Be there or be…well, you better be there. I’ll be there. Or be square!

The sister giggles and bounces off. Lloyd turns with a sense of satisfaction and chases after Gabe.

The camera draws away from the library and focuses on the Senior/Junior Alpha Zeta house.

In the common room, Nolan paces back and forth in front of the pledges who all lined up. Shane, Manny and Trevor are visible among the faces.

NOLAN MILLER: Hell Week isn’t quite over yet. You may have sworn by Alpha Zeta’s oath and taken the run but to us, you’re still pledges. You won’t be considered full Alpha Zeta members until we pull off our party tonight. But that’s besides the point, I have one more task for you. Simple enough to complete if you ever hope to wear these.

Nolan picks up a small glass display off the table next to him. He holds it in a way so all the new members can see inside. The display contains resplendent pins, adorned with the Alpha Zeta crest. Black, red, yellow and various shades of the latter are present. Nolan gives the pledges a good moment to look at the pins.

He smugly glances down at his own freshly polished pin.

NOLAN: Now these, these are the things that signify your true Alpha Zeta allegiance. These pins are the real deal.

Nolan seems to get wrapped up in his own speech. A nameless pledge/new member calls out from the crowd.

GUY: What’s that task we had to get to?

Nolan shots his gaze through the crowd at the guy who had called out. He cocked his eyebrow.

NOLAN: The bathrooms haven’t been touched in about a month. We’ve been saving them just for you guys. If you catch my drift. Get to it!

Groans and complaints run through the crowd and some people begin to mill around. Not much movement.

NOLAN: (a hint of menace) You wouldn’t want one simple task to prevent you from getting your pin, now would you?

This gets more attention. The pledges begin running towards the bathroom.

Brad heads down the stairs, taking count of the condoms in his wallet. He hears the stampede of feet and looks up. A pleased Nolan stands there watching the crowd scramble with his arms folded. Brad pockets his wallet and approaches Nolan.

BRAD ANDERSON: Why the rush?

NOLAN: Bathroom cleaning ritual.

BRAD: Oh right. Did the guys have a fun time dirtying it up?

NOLAN: You bet they did. That bathroom is going to take so long.

BRAD: We love being d*icks, don’t we?

NOLAN: There’s nothing better.

Brad chuckles to himself.

BRAD: It’s not so much being one, but I like using mine.

Nolan doesn’t quite catch Brad’s last statement. He faces him, slightly confused.

NOLAN: Huh?

BRAD: Nothing, nothing. I’ll see you around.

Brad just shakes his head and heads out the door. Nolan fiddles with his pin for a moment before going upstairs.

Cut to the sorority across the street. Jenny walks down the hallway and briskly knocks on the door to the sorority chapter room. The door swings open from the light tap. Aiden and Ivy are inside. Ivy stands with her arms folded across her chest looking rather stern. Aiden has his hands place firmly against the desk, looking heated up. The two stop talking as soon as Jenny hesitates in the threshold.

JENNY REED: Sorry. Am I interrupting something?

IVY DESTEFANO: No…

After a beat, Ivy gives Aiden a peculiar look.

IVY: He was just leaving.

Aiden blinks a few times before making his way around the desk and stopping in front of Jenny by the door.

AIDEN JENNINGS: Jennifer.

JENNY: What’s the occasion, Aiden?

AIDEN: No reason.

And with that, Aiden brushes past her and disappears from the hallway. Slightly puzzled, Jenny goes to Ivy.

JENNY: What did Aiden want?

IVY: Nothing important.

Ivy plays with a strand of hair as Jenny studies her face. She senses a lie but decides not to pry.

JENNY: Party planning?

IVY: Yeah, exactly. Party planning. Nothing else you need to worry about.

JENNY: Right…anyway, I did a quick check on the social networking accounts like you asked.

IVY: And?

JENNY: Everything is good so far. Nothing discriminating.

IVY: Good. They best keep it that way if they know what’s good for them.

Before Jenny can say anything else, a bang against the wall startles the two girls. Angela stumbles into the room. Another Corona in hand. She is clearly drunk or on her way to being drunk.

ANGELA HENDRICKSON: I-I don’t know! I got this bottle but this bottle is empty. That ho Carol hid my good s*hit….damnit Carol…

Jenny quickly grabs the empty bottle from Angela.

JENNY: You aren’t supposed to drink before the party.

ANGELA: (slurring) Wh…who said I was drinking? Absurd!

Jenny looks to Ivy for a suggestion but she seems indifferent.

JENNY: We can’t let Ms. Slater see her. She’ll freak.

IVY: Go lock her up in the basement or something. Just get the alcoholic out of sight for now.

JENNY: Ok…

Jenny begins to guide Angela from the room but she staggers away.

ANGELA: (slowly) B-b-but I wanna stay and party till I can’t party no more. Woo Ivy!

Angela lazily dances towards Ivy. Jenny grabs her arm again and gently pulls her out of the room. Ivy just sighs, complete with an eye roll. Her phone goes off.

The camera leaves through the chapter room window and swings around to face the Alpha Zeta senior/junior house again. Most of the pledges are on their hands and knees scrubbing at the stained marble floors and walls. They don’t even want to know how the dirt and mud had gotten there. Trevor and Manny are next to each other in the showers, attempting to clean a similar area. They make idle chitchat about the rank smell, the foul conditions and the brown water coming from the sinks. Shane makes his way over.

SHANE JOHNSTON: You know, they do this on purpose.

TREVOR VANDERBILT: (slightly irritated) This blows. I can‘t believe my brother went through something like this when he was here.

SHANE: You‘re a legacy? Nice.

MANNY BECKETT: Trevor here lived in the lifestyle of the rich and famous, in case you didn‘t know.

Trevor smiles widely to Shane, then laughs, shaking his head. Meanwhile, Manny pulls out some strips of hair out of the drainpipe, disgusted.

MANNY: Ew, what the f-ck?!

Trevor burst into laughter as Shane takes a close look at it.

SHANE: Oh, that‘s definitely not from a guy.

TREVOR: You mean our bros are having sex in the showers? (laughs) It must‘ve been Brad and some girl.

MANNY: A really f-cking hairy girl, yeah!

TREVOR: That‘s just nasty.

NOLAN: (O.S.) What the f-ck?

The three boys look up and see Nolan standing over them, peering his eyes. Disgusted, confused and stunned.

NOLAN: (re: the hair strips) That‘s gotta be Larry‘s. The dude‘s gotta shave – hairy bastard.

Shane shoots Manny a “what the hell?” look. Shane can’t help it but to crack a grin on his face as Nolan looks at him.

NOLAN: What?

SHANE: Nothing, nothing, sorry.

NOLAN: Then get back to cleaning, little bitches. Tonight’s a big night.

Nolan eyes them, but as he’s about to take off Manny speaks up:

MANNY: Nolan, wait. I don’t know if I got the right information about the costumes, but are all of the Alpha Zeta brothers wearing the monk suits?

NOLAN: Yes. It’s Aiden’s idea of something that has to do with our trademark. Our logo and letters being on it so the rest of the Greek system knows we’re Alphas. (then) Now get back to work.

As he leaves, Trevor gently nods his head.

TREVOR: Monk suits and Alpha logos. Sounds good, right?

SHANE: Sh-t, man. I bought a costume already.

MANNY: And you knew you’d be an Alpha Zeta today?

SHANE: It’s better to play safe, you know?

TREVOR: What were you gonna wear anyway?

Shane puts up the widest smile, followed by:

SHANE: Superman!

Scene 3 – Smelly Cat

On the two-lane street walks Gabriel along the sidewalk. We follow him as he makes a quick left turn and walks toward the portico of the Alpha Zeta senior/junior house. The weather is still good and the sun is bright as ever, shining down on Fraternity Lane. Gabe reaches the two-door front entrance, opens one and enters. There he is greeted by one of his brothers – Stewart, 20.

STEWART: Gabe! Just the guy I needed to see.

GABE LIMON: What’s up?

STEWART: Okay, look – This will be extremely hard for me to say, but… I’m having problems… (eyes his crotch) you know—

GABE: (uneasy) Down there?

STEWART: Yes! And you know I have to satisfy my woman’s needs, ya know. Especially tonight.

GABE: What exactly do you want me to do? Take a look at it?

Stewart’s eyes widen, and he starts rolling the ball.

STEWART: You would?

GABE: No! No, no, no. See a doctor or something, Stew. I can’t help you as much as I… uh… “wanted to.”

Stewart moves his head side to side in disappointment. He vents a sigh.

STEWART: Fine, all right.

Then he takes off out the front door. Gabe calls back at him:

GABE: Hey, I have condoms if you need them tonight!

STEWART: (voice fading) I have enough.

Gabe laughs, then closes the door and walks up the staircase to the left (note: in the grand foyer are two staircases attached, one on the right and the other on the left, and both connect on the second story banister that leads onto an upstairs hall)

A door opens in the house and Gabe steps inside. He walks over to his bed and is about to sit on it, but instantly prevents him from doing so when a disgusting, rotten smell burns through his nostrils. What the hell is that?

GABE: Ugh, what the… ?

The stink is coming from his bed. Possibly underneath it. Underneath the bed we see Gabe get on four feet. He bends down and his head comes into view right before he stretches his arm and grabs a hold of a paper box. It’s wet.

GABE: What in God’s name is that?

He squints his eyes, then drags the wet paper box from underneath the bed. The box has a lid on it that can easily be taken off. It’s like a shoe box. Afraid to open the box, Gabe can’t resist it, then…

Rips open the wet lid of the box! Inside is a rotten, burnt cat! Dead. Eyes gouged out. Gabe feels like throwing up every single organ inside his body on the floor. Who the hell would do such a grisly prank?

GABE: (disgusted, angry) Aiden!!!

Inside the kitchen are a few brothers. Two of them are Brad and Aiden. Brad holds a bag of Cheetos, his hands digging through it like on a search for gold. Aiden stands by the counter, viewing one of the monk robes.

AIDEN JENNNGS: Looks pretty damn good. The logo is fine, the letters are in place and the color—

GABE: (O.S.) Aiden! The f-ck are you?

Gabe storms into the kitchen. Furious. Sweating. He walks up to Aiden as if he’s threatening or trying to pick up a fight with him.

GABE: What the hell do you think you’re doing?

Aiden glares at Gabe, stunned and confused.

AIDEN: (finishing his sentence) …perfect. (then) What’s wrong with you?

GABES: I should ask you the same question. What were you even thinking stuffing that thing under my bed?!

BRAD ANDERSON: Dude, what’re you—

GABE: (cutting him off) Back off, Brad.

Brad just blinks, caught off guard.

AIDEN: Gabe… I don’t know what you’re talking about.

GABE: Then why don’t we take a little trip to my room and you’ll see what I’m talking about.

Aiden nods gently in agreement, confident and keeping a straight face. Gabe and Aiden walk out of the kitchen. Brad stays there for a moment, looking at the other brothers awkwardly. His mouth is stuffed with Cheetos. Then he “smoothly” lets the bag slip down on the counter next to the fridge and follows Gabe and Aiden.

Back inside Gabe’s room. Gabe enters, followed by Aiden. Gabe walks over to the paper box and shows it to Aiden. Aiden peers his eyes and covers his nose from the awful smell.

AIDEN: Did something die in here or what?

GABE: You mean you didn’t do this?

Gabe raises an eyebrow at Aiden. Aiden simply shrugs, clueless of anything. Brad comes in. He covers his nose and makes a funny face.

AIDEN: No, I didn’t.

BRAD: (to Gabe) Dude, did you sh-t in here or something, because it really smells.

Gabe rolls his eyes and ignores Brad’s comment. He crosses his arms and looks down on the burnt cat inside the wet box. It seems that water had been used to kill the fire.

GABE: This is just sick.

Brad looks down into the box. He stares at it, stunned and disgusted.

Cut to outside of the Alpha Zeta freshman/sophomore house. Trevor and Manny, followed by Shane playing on his phone behind, walk down on the sidewalk and to the senior/junior house. As Trevor and Manny chat on the way, Manny suddenly stops him as he spots something going on in the front yard.

MANNY BECKETT: Woah-woah,-woah. What’s going on over there?

Manny’s POV: Gabe holds a dark gray trash bag with something square in the bottom of it. How do we know? The sharp ends of the paper box are sticking out, ready to rip through the bag. Aiden, Brad and some other frat brothers stand on the portico and watch Gabe disappear behind corner. All kinds of “gross” and “sick” comments are called out.

Aiden then turns to Manny and co. He shoots them a smirk, then disappears into the house.

SHANE JOHNSTON: I’m curious. (beat) Like, so curious.

Trevor and Manny turn around to face him.

SHANE: I’m gonna find out what’s going on.

And with that, Shane insinuates between Trevor and Manny and heads to the back of the house, following Gabe.

TREVOR VANDERBILT: There’s something about this guy I don’t like so much.

MANNY: What do you mean?

TREVOR: I don’t know, he just… Like, he’s been on the phone for ages, God knows doing what. And he’s been laughing, whispering things around the house. On top of that he bails on us to play Nancy Drew with an older brother

MANNY: (slightly annoyed) Whatever, man. I don’t care about him if he’s pulling some sh-t on us. It’s none of our business anyway.

Manny takes off towards the house. Trevor stands still for a second or two but catches up with Manny. What a mood change that was.

Delta Pi Omega house. Upstairs bathroom. The sound of water hitting tiles echo as Jenny taking a close look at herself in one of many mirrors lined next to each other. She rakes her fingers through the hair above her ear, pushing the hair behind it. She picks up a towel off the sink and walks over to the showers where a depressed Angela sits. Arms wrapped around her legs.

JENNY REED: (handing her the towel) Here you go, sweetie. Are you sure you’re fine?

ANGELA HENDRICKSON: (drunk, tired) Yes. Thanks.

Angela climbs to her feet, showing us full frontal and her breasts. She’s extremely sexy and seductive. Jenny looks into another direction as Angela takes the towel and wraps it around her soaking wet and tanned body.

JENNY: You sure?

As Angela sits down on the toilet seat:

ANGELA: Yeah. Thanks for everything Jen.

JENNY: Well, I refused to stuff you down in the basement like Ivy wanted.

Angela reacts to this, and she’s not very happy. She looks up to Jenny.

ANGELA: (tiredly) You know… Ivy’s a bitch. I can’t stand her sometimes.

Jenny’s afraid to say anything. After all, Angela is drunk and could be pulling something on her. She simply nods and forces a smile.

JENNY: (changing the subject) Listen, you should take a nap for an hour or two. You don’t wanna miss out on the party tonight, eh?

Angela chuckles.

ANGELA: ‘Course not, slut.

Jenny laughs and helps Angela up. Then they exit the bathroom.

Cut to the senior/junior house. Second floor, inside Nolan’s room. Nolan is inside, lying on his bed, texting someone on his cell phone. Beep! He smiles and opens the latest text. It reads: “C U 2 nite, stud – xoxo”

Nolan smirks.

NOLAN MILLER: (to himself) Lookin’ forward to it…

He lets go of the phone and it falls down on the sheet he lies on. A moment of silence and a smiling Nolan. He then puts one arm around the back of his head. The other one… slides down into his pants. He begins to rub – but another beep interrupts him.

NOLAN: F-ck!

He takes the phone and opens the text.

On the screen: “TONIGHT, U DIE”

Nolan squints his eyes and takes a closer look. Is he reading correctly or is someone f-cking with him? He reacts to this and shakes his head side to side, slowly.

NOLAN: *beep*

Nolan sits straight up. He stares at the text, trying to figure it out. There’s no callback number or any way to trace who sent it. In a last ditch attempt, Nolan hits send to see if he could call the sender. The phone beeps and “Unknown number” flashes on the screen. Nolan sighs.

NOLAN: (passing it off) Just a joke…

Nolan drops the phone back onto the bed and leans back…

An hour or two pass by and dusk is settling on Fraternity Lane. Everyone is inside preparing as the party nears. We see the front of the Delta Pi Omega house. Lights are on in every room as the girls slip on their costumes and sex themselves up.

The main door opens slightly and Ivy slips out, watching her footsteps. She silently moves forward and lets the door shut behind her. She scans the front yard of the sorority. A lone car is parked down by the curb. Ivy stomps her foot and then steals across the yard towards the car.

She knocks on the window with her knuckle then stands, hands at her hips. The window rolls down slowly but the driver inside is covered by shadows.

IVY DESTEFANO: (cold) What are you doing here?

There is no answer from inside the car. Ivy leans closer, leaning a hand on the car but still keeping some distance.

IVY: I said, what are you doing here?

The figure inside finally responds:

MAN: You know why.

IVY: (rolls her eyes) Well, obviously. But tonight?

MAN: It seemed like a good time.

IVY: You thought wrong. Tonight’s the huge Alpha Zeta party. Everyone’s going to be there.

MAN: Which means Delta Phi Omega is going to be empty, right?

IVY: I guess. But all the girls are going to be at the party.

MAN: True.

IVY: So why don’t you just get out of here?

MAN: Are you sure you want me to do that…Ivy?

IVY: Yeah, get your ass out of here before someone sees you. I gotta go get ready anyway.

There’s a beat as we hear keys turning and the car starting.

MAN: I’ll be in touch.

The car peels out away from Ivy and roars down the road. Ivy watches with her arms crossed as the car takes a sharp turn right and disappears from her view.

IVY: (under her breath, rejoinder to the man’s last comment) I’m sure you will, *beep*

As soon as the car is gone, Ivy looks around her once more. Everything seems quiet again. She turns back around and heads back to the Delta Pi house.

The night grows darker as the party draws closer.

Scene 4 – “Let’s Get This Party Started!”

The Alpha Zeta senior/junior house is alive with commotion. The party is set to start in mere minutes. Lloyd is poised at the end of his bed adjusting his robe costume. It feels a little too tight and it itches his skin. Lloyd pulls uncomfortably at the collar.

LLOYD DUNHAM: Damn, they expect me to wear this all night?

Lloyd pokes and pulls at the robe when there is a swift knock at the door. His roommate Tom stands in the doorway.

TOM: You ready? Aiden wants everyone downstairs. The pledges are gonna be here soon.

LLOYD: I’ll be there in a second. How does your robe fit?

Tom takes a step back but then looks down at his costume.

TOM: Fine, I guess. Why?

LLOYD: No reason.

TOM: Ok, well, you better get downstairs soon. Aiden has something to say to us.

Lloyd just nods as Tom turns away from the doorway.

LLOYD: (muttering) Lucky son of a bitch. Maybe Aiden gave me the wrong size… (then) F-ck Aiden.

Lloyd accepts the less than bearable costume and leaves his room. He heads directly for the stairs and into the foyer area. He immediately sees a long table complete with some of his favorite drinks. Beer, vodka, wine and some other variations of alcohol. All lined up neatly.

LLOYD: (grinning) Note to self: grab a White Russian.

He continues down the stairs and sees most of his brothers in an organized group. He quickly hurries into the line-up and blends in with the various other robed brothers. Aiden and Nolan head the group, both with their hoods pulled up over their heads. Lloyd tries to remain still with his arms folded across his chest like everyone else but the ragged robe is itching at his skin. He squirms slightly.

Gabe, who happens to be positioned next to Lloyd, nudges him.

GABE LIMON: (whispering) Dude, now is not the time to be Mr. Comic Relief. You know how serious Aiden and Nolan take this party.

LLOYD: Trust me, I’d rather not squirm but I don’t have a choice.

GABE: What’s wrong?

LLOYD: This damn robe! It’s too tight and itchy and I’m not a fan of it.

Gabe thinks for a moment. Figures things out. Then:

GABE: How about this -- After the pledges get here, we go switch costumes real quick. I’m a little smaller than you and this robe is kind of baggy on me. It would probably fit you better.

LLOYD: You don’t mind?

GABE: No, not really.

LLOYD: Kick ass!

A loud “Shh!” runs through the crowd. Lloyd and Gabe just chuckle. The pledges are arriving soon.

Cut to outside, the path between the freshman/sophomore house and the senior/junior house. The pledges are all walking in single file line towards the senior/junior house, hoods raised up. Trevor shuffles along behind Manny.

TREVOR VANDERBILT: So exited for this party!

MANNY BECKETT: It better be worth it after all the cleaning we did.

TREVOR: Oh, it will be. Alpha Zeta is known for their parties. My brother used to tell me the coolest stories about them. Remind me to tell him about this party tomorrow.

MANNY: I probably won’t remember. You know, hangover and all.

Shane suddenly cut in-between Trevor and the other pledge behind him.

SHANE JOHNSON: Who’s ready to get wasted and get laid?! Shane is!

Trevor glances over his shoulder at Shane.

TREVOR: What about meeting the other fraternities and getting to know our brothers?

SHANE: Getting to know our brothers? Gay!

There is a moment of silence. Both of them reel from Shane’s comment.

Trevor had some past experiences with people assuming he was gay. He hated when people assumed things like that right off the bat. It gave him some rocky times in high school. Especially the time he was jumped…

Shane immediately regretted what he said. Considering it reminded him of his “situation” and he did not like to think or talk about that.

Manny did not notice the awkward silence that befell the three. Neither Trevor or Shane mention anything about it either.

MANNY: You know, you can easily do both. Drink, meet brothers, drink some more, then meet some equally drunk sorority girls.

SHANE: (quickly) Right. It’s not “gay” at all, poor word choice.

Trevor just nods. Shane falls back to his original position, a few people behind Trevor and Manny.

The line of pledges continues to march up to the portico of the house.

Cut back to the interior of the senior/junior house. The door opens and the pledges begin to file in.

AIDEN JENNINGS: Line up across this way.

The pledges do so, lining up horizontally and facing Aiden, Nolan and the rest of the brothers.

AIDEN: Hoods down.

In unison, the hoods came down and revealed the faces of the pledges. Aiden lowers his hood also. Nolan follows suit.

AIDEN: Now, tonight is the night everyone’s been waiting for. Alpha Zeta’s big night, and the second biggest party of the year. Anyone and everyone who is important will be here. Mid-way through the party, your official acceptance ceremony will occur. Your names will be called up one by one and you will come to the front and receive your pin and take one last oath. Take caution not to get too drunk before then. Take much caution.

NOLAN MILLER: You wouldn’t want to miss your name and not receive your pin. Some…”consequences” will be in store. Alpha Zeta doesn’t approve of the irresponsible.

AIDEN: And always remember….“We may fall one by one but we’ll stand… one blood, one fraternity”. A brother helps another brother if needed. Ok?

The brothers behind Aiden and Nolan being clapping. The pledges join in.

AIDEN: Dismissed! Let’s get the party started!

The organized lines of robed brothers breaks up and move across the room. Meanwhile, Brad opens the glass front doors and turns around. Calls out:

BRAD ANDERSON: Everyone! I need your attention because you have to get your bracelet as a ticket into the house. Of course, Alpha members get free passage, so line up in front of the table on the portico to get your bracelets.

“Alright!” and “Nice!” all around. Gabe walks up to Brad.

GABE: The shifts have been organized for the juniors, right?

BRAD: Yeah, I took care of it today.

Brad pulls out a crushed paper from the robe. Reads it.

BRAD: “Shift 1. 19:30. Stewart Hendler and Johnny James.” (smiles widely) Got it covered.

GABE: Then why is Johnny the only one by the table?

Brad turns and spots Johnny, 21, arranging a steel case of money and the red bracelets all by himself.

BRAD: *beep* (turns to Gabe) Will you go find Stew and tell him to get his fat ass down here now! The people are arriving real soon.

GABE: (sighing) Yea, sure.

Cut to across the street. Delta Pi house. Ivy is standing by the front door, clad in a sexy and semi-revealing bunny costume.

IVY DESTEFANO: Hurry up, girls! Being fashionably late is so last year!

Some of the sisters are gathered by Ivy, ready to go. Various costumes are worn among them. Jenny is visible in this crowd in her soccer jersey as a costume. She has some tight short shorts on but nothing too slutty. A bit sexy, actually.

More sisters begin to gather, still with a varying degree of costumes. Angela is one of the last sisters to come bouncing down the steps, sobered up from earlier.

ANGELA HENDRICKSON: I am so prepared to drink again! I took some Chase and a few Advil’s. I’m set for the night.

As Angela comes onto the landing, her costume comes into view. Or what seems to vaguely resemble a costume. She has bright red high heels and a pure white mini-skirt on. She has a skin tight red cross belly shirt that is barely any bigger then a bra. Her breasts are almost bursting out of the top.

ANGELA: (to Ivy) How’s my costume? I’m a nurse!

IVY: A very slutty nurse.

ANGELA: I prefer Nurse Sexy.

IVY: How original. Well girls, ready to go?

Cheers run through the crowd. Ivy pushes the door open.

IVY: I assume everyone’s got cash for their ticket in. So… let’s go, Delta!

The girls began to file out the door and towards the house. Ivy stares at a girl in a Darth Vader costume as she walks by.

IVY: I guess she doesn’t plan on getting laid tonight.

She just shakes her head. Jenny and Angela walk by. As most of the girls are out, Ivy turns to a girl standing in the house, still dressed neat clothes.

IVY: You playing Sober Sister tonight, Carol?

CAROL: You got it.

IVY: Right. I can safely bet you’ll have to come over and bring Angela back and put her to bed within the hour.

CAROL: Just give me a call and I’ll be over.

IVY: Ok. Later, Carol.

CAROL: Bye. Have fun!

Ivy shoots her a rather fake smile. She will definitely have fun tonight. She’s the last sister to leave the house. Carol shuts the door behind her and sighs.

A little later, the Delta Pi girls are gathered on the Alpha Zeta portico. Brad, beer in hand (it’s definitely not the first one), happily greets the ones that have paid and have their bracelets wrapped around their wrists.

BRAD: I was wondering when all the sexy girls were going to arrive.

The girls giggle at Brad’s charm as they enter the house. The Darth Vader girl lets out an altered mechanical giggle.

BRAD: Different…but hot nonetheless.

Brad proceeds to flash a smile at every girl that passes by. Angela approaches him.

BRAD: And there’s the sexiest of the bunch. Loving the costume.

Angela seductively puts a hand on his upper thigh as she walks by and whispers into his ear.

ANGELA: Come look for me later, stud.

BRAD: Anything for you.

Angela smiles and continues walking, tracing her finger over Brad’s crotch area. Angela disappears into the semi crowded house. A Frat Guy walks up to Brad and they raise hands. Slap them together.

FRAT GUY: I’ll take your place.

BRAD: Thanks, bro.

Brad walks under the upstairs banisher to the grand room (a.k.a. the living room). The music is blasting and the partygoers have already formed a dance floor in the middle. To the far left is a DJ, blasting “Don’t Trust Me” by 3OH!3. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rsw4jXqgyHg&feature=related)

BRAD: (grinning, re: hot girls) Damn. All so fine.

Most people have a beer in hand. It is splashing out of the Solo cups and all over the floor. People are too busy dancing to notice.

Shane dances his way through the crowd and notices a pretty girl standing there, dancing rather tame. She is wearing a soccer jersey. Shane goes up to her and leans into to her.

SHANE: Hey, you’re Jenny Reed, right? Delta Pi?

JENNY REED: That’s me.

SHANE: How’s it going? I saw you standing here looking so pretty and I thought you could use a little company.

JENNY: How sweet. I don’t think I caught your name.

SHANE: Shane. Shane Johnson. Newest Alpha Zeta member.

JENNY: Oh, a pledge, huh?

SHANE: Yeah! Why have a brother when you can have a pledge? We’re much better in bed.

JENNY: (smile fades away) Wait…what?

SHANE: Would you ever sleep with a pledge?

Shane moves a little closer to Jenny. She backs up and is trapped against a dancing couple.

JENNY: Honestly? Yeah, I have no problem sleeping with a pledge. But it takes more than a smile and a compliment, buddy. Sorry.

Jenny pushes through the dancing couple and quickly vanishes among the hectic crowd. Shane scoffs to himself as “Don’t Trust Me” fades.

SHANE: I guess I came on a little too strong…

Shane vanishes among the crowd also. And with that, the DJ calls out:

DJ: Let’s get this party started!!!

The crowd goes wild! Cheers. Glasses raise. Another mainstream pop song kicks off and the people pump up the dance moves to the beat.

Scene 5 – First Cut

(Note: Floor plan/lay out of the senior/junior Alpha Zeta house. http://www.lchouseplans.com/search-house-plans/plan-detail.cfm?plan_id =5655)

Gabe walks up one of the curved stairs from the foyer. Heads down the upstairs hallway, passing by another staircase that leads down to the kitchen. The party is rocking downstairs. He walks down the end of the hall and enters a room. He knocks on the wooden door frame and pokes his head inside. A single lamp on a desk nightstand is the only dull light in the room. He’s in Stewart’s room.

GABE LIMON: Stewart?

No response. Stewart’s not here. Gabe sighs.

GABE: Where the f-ck is he?

He closes the door and walks down the hall again. By the door next to the staircase to the kitchen is a couple making out. They get inside the room, giggling and laughing. Gabe chuckles, takes out his cell phone and types in “Stewart”, then makes a quick turn down the stairs, not looking in front of him…

Bumping into a hooded monk figure! Gabe jumps out of his skin.

GABE: What the hell?! You scared me to death!

The figure takes the hood off. It’s Nolan. He’s just as spooked. The lighting on the hall is very dull and creepy.

NOLAN MILLER: Dude, watch where you’re going.

Gabe shakes his head gently.

GABE: Have you seen Stewart?

NOLAN: Stew? Don’t know, don’t care. (then) Why?

GABE: He’s supposed to be at front charging with Johnny.

NOLAN: Haven’t seen him.

Nolan walks past Gabe, heading down the hallway.

GABE: Tell him to get his ass downstairs if you do see him.

NOLAN: (muttering) Wouldn’t count on it.

Gabe walks down the stairs into the kitchen.

GABE: *beep*

Cut to the basement. It’s dark and extremely creepy. We see a bright flashlight beam on a wall. The camera pans around a big boiler. At the other end of the basement is Stewart, sitting on an old couch, smoking pot as he plays with the flashlight. The booming party is audible upstairs.

Stewart suddenly laughs at the flashlight dancing on the wall. Then he slowly puts the joint between his lips and takes it all in with a long breath.

STEWART: Damn, this sh-t is good.

Suddenly, the sound of a metal can clattering on the floor startles Stewart. He shines the flashlight on the spot where the sound clatter came from. An empty beer can lies on the floor.

STEWART: Yo?

Stewart beams the flashlight behind the beer can but sees no one. He stands up and walks over to the can, picks it up and studies it. He drinks the rest of the beer from it, but only a few drops of liquid pour into his mouth.

STEWART: F-ck. Empty son-of-a-bitch.

A black figure suddenly races past Stewart from behind. He spins around and beams the flashlight in front of him. There’s no sign of anything there.

STEWART: Guys, if you’re trying to screw me over then it’s not cool. I’m so seriously stoned right now!

Stewart laughs at himself, but no one else laughs with him. He must be seeing things. Or is he?

He turns back around, just as a hooded monk figure slowly rises from behind the side of the couch! Stewart walks further into the basement and beams the flashlight in all directions. The hooded figure creeps towards Stewart, who has no clue of its presence.

Stewart hears footsteps behind him. Turns around. The hooded figure smacks him down with a single punch! Stewart falls down on the floor. Nose bleeding. A bruise forming.

STEWART: (groaning) Ahh. F-ck!

The hooded monk figure looks down at Stewart lying on the floor. He’s too stoned to get back up. He tries but fails and stumbles on his back again.

STEWART: The f-ck’s wrong with you?!

The hooded figure, now as the killer, steps over Stewart and approaches the wall where all the gardening tools are kept. He studies the wall. All kinds of murder weapon to choose. A buzz saw. Screwdrivers. Hammers. Shovels – An hayfork. He pulls the hayfork off the wall and turns around.

Stewart groans as he stands up, the killer approaching him. He looks back and sees the monk figure holding the hayfork.

STEWART: Oh, *beep*, no, dude, put that sh-t down!

The killer smacks Stewart with the long shaft, sending him further inside the basement behind the boiler. Stewart stumbles backwards but doesn’t fall down. He backs up against a wooden storage door in the wall.

With a flash, the killer raises the hayfork. Stabs it at Stewart!

STEWART: Wait, no-no-no!

The sharp middle pin plugs itself directly into Stewart’s throat! Blood streams down his throat on his monk robe. He grabs a hold of the shaft as the killer pushes the points all the way through his neck, pinning him stuck to the storage door. Stewart’s body shakes but stops after a few seconds. He goes limp and hangs on the pins attached to the door.

The killer tilts his head to the side, studying Stewart’s body. He opens the door to briefly hide the body, turns around and looks at the wall with the gardening tools. A specific tool catches his eye – a hand scythe at the end of the wall. The killer walks over to the scythe and pulls it off the wall. He studies it. The darkness underneath the hood reflects in the razor-sharp blade, hiding his identity.

The killer then crosses the basement and pauses at the stairs, tucking the scythe underneath his robe. After a beat, the killer ascends the stairs. Not a stain of blood on his robe.

Cut to upstairs, the kitchen. Trevor enters while pulling down his hood and sees two girls chugging beer through two beer bongs each. One is a Cleopatra and the other one an angel. Frat boys around them shout “Chug! Chug! Chug! Chug!” and some of their friends cheer them on. They’re close to finishing… closer… and Cleopatra wins! The crowd goes wild.

CLEOPATRA: Ha! I beat you, you bitch!

The Angel Girl drops the bong from her hand and beer spills on the island counter.

ANGEL GIRL: What did you just say?

FRAT BOY: Ladies, why don’t we take this outside—

CLEOPATRA: (interrupting) You heard me!

ANGEL GIRL: Slut!

Angel Girl dives at Cleopatra, knocking her down on the floor. The people surrounding them huddle around them and break them apart.

Trevor’s eyes widen. So this is how the Alpha Zeta parties really go. He walks past the group of people in the kitchen to a two-door glass entrance. It’s the doors out on the terrace in the backyard. Trevor walks out the doors and scans the terrace. Party people all around. There’s a lot of noise and music. A few feet from the terrace is a swimming pool with a few drunken college kids floating on all kinds of air mattresses. Some in their costumes. Others in barely anything.

Trevor sees Manny by the pool, talking to some girl. He walks over to them.

TREVOR VANDERBILT: Hey, what’s up? I couldn’t find you anywhere.

MANNY BECKETT: Uh… sorry, bro. Been busy.

Manny motions Trevor to go away because of the girl sitting next to him.

MANNY: Would you… like… you know… get out of here?

TREVOR: (chuckles awkwardly, sarcastic) Yeah. Sure, no problem. See you around, buddy!

Trevor turns around and storms back inside. Manny turns to the girl.

MANNY: (to Girl, with a grin) Now where were we?

GIRL: Wait, I think your friend is pissed.

MANNY: The hell with him, I don’t need him.

GIRL: Are you really gonna be a douche bag to him? (then) He’s cute!

MANNY: (sarcastic) Yeah, I so wanna hang out with him because I have you with me and how cute he is.

GIRL: Fine, whatever, just kiss me.

The Girl leans over and kisses Manny.

Cut to inside, upstairs bedroom. It’s Aiden’s bedroom. Ivy, in her sexy bunny costume, stands by his desk as she looks at the things on it. We wonder why she’s in there. Suddenly, a hooded monk figure steps into the room, gently closing the door. Blackness underneath the hood covers the figure’s identity. The figure approaches Ivy, who doesn’t notice a thing.

Ivy sighs, not sensing the figure’s presence in the background. It comes closer to her… closer… She turns around and screams! The figure grabs her and calms her down, taking the hood off. It’s Aiden.

IVY DESTEFANO: Aiden, what the f-ck is wrong with you?!

AIDEN JENNINGS: (laughing) Sorry, I had to scare you. (beat) What’re you doing here anyway?

IVY: I texted you. I wanted to meet you. Where were you?

Aiden drags his cell phone out of the robe. He carefully holds his hand against his robe as his extracts his phone, almost as if to make sure something else didn’t fall out. He opens the phone. “1 NEW MESSAGE” He clicks it and sees that it’s from Ivy.

AIDEN: I didn’t hear it go off. It’s pretty noisy down there.

IVY: Then put it on vibrate.

Before he even says anything back, she pulls Aiden’s robe against her and plants a kiss on his lips. They begin to make out, roughly, as they lie down on Aiden’s bed.

The door suddenly opens and Nolan pokes his head inside. Ivy gasps and Aiden turns around.

NOLAN: Sh-t! Sorry, man. Have you seen Stewart?

IVY: You’re kidding me, right?

AIDEN: Dude, no, I haven’t seen him. What’s the f-cking problem?

NOLAN: Gabe said he was supposed to be working out front with the bracelets. Johnny’s all by himself. There’s a long ass line in the front yard, ya know?

AIDEN: Are you f-cking serious? Get someone else to do it, I don’t give a f-ck!

Nolan nods without another word and closes the door. He pauses outside of it, momentarily.

NOLAN: Dude needs to get the stick out of his ass.

Nolan turns and heads in the other direction.

Aiden gets back to kissing Ivy, but she pushes him off and stands up.

AIDEN: What’s wrong?

IVY: I’m not in the mood anymore.

AIDEN: What? Seriously?

IVY: Don’t blame me! Blame that stupid idiot Nolan.

AIDEN: (underneath his breath) F-ck.

Ivy fixes her hair and walks to the door. Opens it.

IVY: See you around.

Aiden doesn’t respond. As Ivy closes the door behind her, Aiden groans and drops onto the bed. He stares up at the ceiling.

We cut back to the party downstairs, the music immediately blasting again. We are at Shane’s back as he heads down a hallway, furthering himself from the party. He peers curiously into the rooms as he passes. He eventually reaches one door and all he can see is a staircase leading into the darkness. The basement, maybe.

Shane moves onto the first step when suddenly, a hand grabs his wrist and halts him there. Shane is clearly spooked, jumping slightly and pulling away from the hand.

SHANE JOHNSTON: Don’t scare me like that, man!

The hooded monk pulls down their hood. It turns out to be a drunk Lloyd who just smiles slightly and puts a hand against the wall to balance himself.

LLOYD DUNHAM: (hesitantly, slurring slightly) I-I wouldn’t go down there.

SHANE: Why not?

LLOYD: It’s the basement. Also known as the (air quotes as he speak) sex dungeon.

SHANE: Sex…dungeon?

LLOYD: Yeah, you know. Sex, drugs and rock and roll. There’s a lot of kinky *beep* down there. Come to think of it, I think Stew went down there earlier. Probably lighting up some of that Mary Jane.

SHANE: Oh, he’s smoking. Why can’t we go down there then?

LLOYD: He probably has a lady friend. Ironically, I think he’s with that red headed chick Mary Jane. (pounds his chest with a fist) Gotta respect the fellow brothers.

Shane steps back up into the hallway, one more sideways glancing going down into the basement.

SHANE: Right. Well, I’ll probably hit the pool now.

Lloyd gives him a hard punch in the arm. Shane stumbles back and Lloyd clearly doesn’t notice how hard he just hit him.

LLOYD: You have fun now!

Shane just nods and quickly walks away. Lloyd looks down to the basement. The dim light flickers occasionally. Lloyd makes a little saluting motion.

LLOYD: (chuckling) God speed, Stewart!

And with that, Lloyd exit’s the screen. The camera swings around and zooms into the basement, past the boiler and fixes on the door. Stewart’s body still hangs loosely from the hayfork imbedded in his throat. The dim, flickering light casts an eerie glow about the room. Steam from the boiler gently floats past the body.

All throughout the house, the mass of drunken college students continue to party, unaware of anything happening around them.

Scene 6 – Rejections

Gabe stands on the portico, looking over the line waiting to get into the party. Johnny is frantically taking money and handing out bracelets.

JOHNNY: You still couldn’t find Stew?

GABE LIMON: Sorry man, he’s nowhere to be found.

Johnny curses under his breath, then:

JOHNNY: Oh well, at least my shift ends in ten.

GABE: Make it five. You’ve been busting your ass off here. (chuckles) Good luck until then.

After a quick pat on the back for poor Johnny, Gabe heads back into the party. A drunk girl runs past him with her costume half off. She reeks of alcohol, as does everyone else in the house. As Gabe beings to approach the dance floor, Lloyd appears and steps in front of him.

LLOYD DUNHAM: Whoa, there you are.

Gabe notices how drunk Lloyd is.

GABE: Here I am.

LLOYD: You were l-looking for Stewie boy, right?

GABE: Yeah. You seen him anywhere?

Lloyd lazily points towards a hallway.

LLOYD: The basement, I think he went into the basement.

GABE: Thanks.

Gabe begins to walk in the direction of the basement but Lloyd grabs his sleeve.

GABE: What’s up?

LLOYD: I still need that favor from you.

Gabe gives Lloyd a questioning look.

GABE: What favor?

Lloyd pulls at his robe and makes a scratching motion at his side.

GABE: Oh right, that. Well come on let’s go switch now.

Gabe turns and begins heading for the nearest room or bathroom. Lloyd drunkenly stumbles after him, already pulling the robe off over his head.

**

Cut to the senior house, upstairs, Brad’s room. The blasting party music downstairs is covered up by the song “Sour Cherry” by The Kills (start at 0:12 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5h-hvebnsZU), playing not too loud on the stereo. The lights are dim and two people occupy the room.

Brad is laid out on the bed, shirtless. He looks very content while watching the girl in front of him.

Angela is dancing slowly and seductively in tune with the music. Her costume is long gone and she stands in only her underwear. She holds a bottle of beer in her hand and sips down whatever was left in it, still moving to the beat. She tosses the bottle to Brad, who catches it, and keeps dancing. Brad puts the bottle on a nightstand by the bed, right next to a bottle of vodka.

Brad isn’t very drunk but well on his way to be. Angela, however, is seemingly drunker.

BRAD ANDERSON: Come over here, you sexy thing.

Angela giggles as she dances her way over to the foot of the bed. She kneels onto the mattress as Brad sits up, taking Angela by the waist and laying her down with him. The two begin to make out intensely. They roll around on the bed, hands groping all over one another.

Angela lies underneath him now and stops kissing him. She only looks deep into his eyes. With that, Brad grabs a hold of both her arms and puts them above her head, then runs his hands up her arms until they meet her hands. Angela grabs onto his hands and kisses him, but suddenly…

A swift, startling knock on the door makes Angela let go of the kiss and turns to the door.

ANGELA HENDRICKSON: Uhh, what was that?

BRAD: Probably some drunk idiot trying to be funny.

Brad slides off the bed and goes straight for the door.

BRAD: (shouting) So not cool! You better not be in sight when I open this door!

Brad pulls the door open and pokes his head into the hallway. All he catches is the tail end of a robed brother disappearing around a corner. Brad sighs. He looks back at Angela.

She is perched up on the bed, chugging an entire bottle of flavored vodka.

BRAD: You might want to go easy on that.

Angela pulls the bottle away from her lips for a second. Some of the drink dribbles down onto her body.

ANGELA: (slurring) Sssshhhex is ssshhooo much better when you’re drunk.

BRAD: Whatever you say.

Brad turns again to shut the door. It’s then he notices a small card on the ground. He had missed it earlier. He bends, picking up the card and opening it. “Sex = death” is all that is written on the inside.

BRAD: (laughing to himself) What is this, horror movie trivia? I’m still alive, aren’t I?

Brad chuckles to himself again, brushing off his brothers’ attempt at a joke. As he’s about to close the door, his cell phone goes off. Brad lifts up the robe and pulls his cell phone out of his pocket. He checks the screen: “1 New Message”

Brad flicks it open. From a number he doesn’t recognize, he reads the text:

“Not for long”

Brad quickly looks to both ends of the hallway. There is no one there. Brad walks out into the hallway, towards the door directly across from his room.

BRAD: Where you hiding, you little sh-t?!

ANGELA: (O.S., dull) Brad…

Brad quickly pushes the door open and gives a little surprising shout. The room is dark and empty. He shines his cell phone out in front of him to check. Frowning slightly, he backs out of the room. He checks the dimly lit hallway once again. The music is too loud of here for any hiding in another room to hear him.

Brad shakes his head and goes back into his bedroom, only to see Angela. Passed out on the bed. An empty vodka bottles rests in her open hand. Brad scratches his head.

BRAD: For a girl of her status, she can’t hold her liquor very well.

Brad just shakes his head and shuts the door behind him. “Sour Cherry” turn off. It’s replaced by the booming music from downstairs.

Cut to backyard. It’s much crazier by the pool side now. The pool is filled with a bunch of drunk and tipsy party-goers attempting to stay afloat. The shallow end has a few couples playing a sloppy game of chicken. A young man climbs onto the diving board, shouts something incoherent and belly flops into the water.

The hot tub is filled to the max by ten people, all holding a cup or a can with something in it. Manny is present there, an arm around a girl and conversing with everyone around him. He takes a big gulp from his cup then sets it aside.

MANNY BECKETT: So let me get the scoop from some veteran party hardies. Are Alpha Zeta parties the best around?

GIRL #1: (giddy) Oh my god, yes! There’s nothing better!

MANNY: Even better than the Delta Upsilon boys? I’ve heard some stories.

GUY #1: I’m a Delta Upsilon. Our parties suck. The only alcohol our president gets is wine.

MANNY: Only wine? Wow, that blows.

GUY #1: Who told you we had good parties?

MANNY: Just heard things through the grape vine.

A girl, completely smashed, yells out:

GIRL #2: I love grapes! I want some now…

The girl stands up and almost falls over. The two people sitting next to her grab her legs and balance her out.

GIRL #2: I call…like, 8’s on this seat. My seat! I-I’ll be back with grapes, lots and lots of…grapes.

The girl clambers out of the hot tub and immediately falls over. Everyone around her laughs.

GIRL #2: I’m okay. I really am. I just need grapes.

She disappears into a crowd, still waving her hands and saying something about grapes. Manny chuckles again.

MANNY: Who’s responsible for that girl?

GUY #1: Never seen her before. She’s definitely not a Theta Xi or a Delta Pi.

MANNY: Hmmm…

There’s a beat of silence in the hot tub but another male sitting with them suddenly lets out a loud moan. Everyone stares at him. A girl surfaces from under the bubbles of the hot tub jets and looks around her. She flashes a sheepish smile and looks at her boy, who is smiling contently.

MANNY: Holy shi– …how long were you under there?

UNDERWATER GIRL: (casually) Long enough.

MANNY: How the hell did you hold your breath that long?

CONTENT GUY: She’s on the swim team.

His smile grows bigger.

MANNY: Ah. Well, that explains it.

CONTENT GUY: Come on babe, let’s go.

The content frat brother puts his hand under the water and adjusts something real quick. Then, he and his girl get up and exit the hot tub. Manny turns to the girl that is resting up against him.

MANNY: We should try that sometime.

The girl just giggles but then her face turns serious.

MANNY’S GIRL: Maybe next party.

The camera pans away from the hot tub and onto a lounging chair near by. Shane is sitting alone, sipping slowly from his cup. He spots Trevor walking by the pool side, towards him. He stands up, about to call out his name. He is cut off by a large group of frat brothers charging towards the pool from the double glass doors.

GROUP: Pledge! Pledge! Pledge!

Trevor looks and realize they are running right towards him. Before he can
react, the group snatches him off his feet and tosses him into the pool. He makes a big splash.

SHANE JOHNSTON: Trevor!

Shane begins to walk over to the edge of the pool to help his fellow pledge. Someone in the group points him out.

GROUP: Another Pledge! Another Pledge!

Shane is swiftly thrown into the pool alongside Trevor. The crowd of brothers breaks up after a moment of obnoxious cheering. The two pledges swim over and pull themselves out of the pool, robes dripping wet.

TREVOR VANDERBILT: Great, now I’m completely soaked for the rest of the party.

SHANE: I wouldn’t worry too much about it. The robes dry quickly.

TREVOR: What about my clothes underneath?

SHANE: Well…we’re pretty much f-cked. Let’s just get these in the dryer back in the house.

Trevor nods, and him and Shane move quickly through the party, then disappear into darkness on the side of the house. They cross over to the freshmen/sophomore house front yard and go for the front door. Open it and step inside.

They close the door as they’re inside. Soaking wet, Trevor and Shane stand on a throw rug by the front door. Trevor scans the foyer, seeing into the living room and the dining room. The only lights in the house are the wall lights on the hallways and inside the kitchen.

SHANE: Want me to take yours?

TREVOR: Uh, sure. Thanks, man.

Trevor pulls the wet monk robe off. The robe sticking to his body like glue makes it hard for him to pull it off. He finally manages to do it, accidentally taking the T-shirt underneath with it. He stands next to Shane. Topless. His body is perfect. Shane stares hard at Trevor.

TREVOR: Dude. You okay?

Shane snaps back to reality. Shakes his head rapidly.

SHANE: Yeah, yeah.

Shane rushes out of his robe. His shirt underneath doesn’t come off like Trevor’s did. Trevor smiles and hands Shane his robe. They dry their feet and takes off up the stairs. As they reach the top, Shane makes a left turn down the hall.

SHANE: I’ll be right back with those.

TREVOR: Awesome.

Trevor makes a right turn towards his room while Shane walks to the end of the hall where the laundry is.

The door opens and Trevor steps inside his room. He goes for the closet, opens it and studies his clothes in the shelves that he just arranged a few hours ago. After a short moment, he pulls out a black Lacoste polo shirt.

Cut to the mud room, as Shane shoves the robes inside the drier, closes it, turns, twists and hits some buttons, then waits for a sound to ring out from the drier. A soft buzz starts. Shane smiles, slaps his palms twice on the drier and leaves the room.

Shane steps onto the hall and walks to the other end of it, right where Trevor and Manny’s room is. He steps inside, but the room is completely empty. He spots Trevor’s wet jeans and socks resting on a radiator under the window.

SHANE: Trev? (no response) Trevor, you in here?

No reply. Shane turns around and walks back to the end of the hall. He opens the bathroom door. Trevor stands by the counter, glaring at himself in the mirror. He feels eyes on him and turns quickly, catching Shane checking him out.

TREVOR: What are you looking at?

SHANE: Nothing, I…

TREVOR: Are you…

SHANE: No! I just…I have that same shirt, I think.

TREVOR: (suspiciously) Right.

Shane quickly looks away as he steps inside. Trevor grabs a towel on one of the towel racks nearby and dries his wet hair. Shane moves next to him and looks at himself in the mirror. He eyes Trevor. Trevor reacts to this

TREVOR: (turning to Shane) Dude, what are you…

He is cut off as Shane suddenly moves closer with his face. Their lips almost touch but Trevor puts a hand on Shane’s chest and shoves him off.

TREVOR: (panicking) What the hell are you doing?

SHANE: (nervously) But you…I-I-I thought….aren’t you…?

TREVOR: No! Not at all! I’m out of here.

Trevor shoves past Shane and storms out the bathroom, shutting the door roughly behind him. Shane backs up against the wall. He stands there completely still for a moment before sinking down on the floor, sliding down the wall. He buries his face in his hands, sighing loudly.

After a couple of seconds, we hear a door harshly shutting closed. It’s the front door.

SHANE: F-ck!

He sits on the bathroom floor. Still. What the hell has he done?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Shane (horrorfan45) has a choice to make. He’s screwed up with Trevor, but what will he do now? This is a LoD choice.
A) Chase after Trevor and apologize.
B) Screw Trevor. Wait for the robes to dry.
C) Grab something in the fridge while waiting for the robes.
D) Bail on the party, your night is already screwed up.
E) Find booze in the house, get loaded and forget about Trevor.

Scene 7 – Scythed

Shane stands up and goes to the mirror. He takes a good look at himself. We see that he‘s not proud of himself, not proud that he‘s screwed things up with Trevor. He sighs.

SHANE: The f-ck have you done, Shane?

He turns around and walks out on the hallway through the door, pissed off. The door closes shut with a loud smack.

Shane sees that the hallway is completely deserted. Trevor is at the party and Shane’s all alone in the house. He goes for the stairs and walks down.

Cut to the senior/junior house, the backyard. Trevor storms in. Manny is there with a girl, and he spots the expression on Trevor’s face. He’s pissed off. Manny rolls his eyes and turns to his girl.

MANNY: Hey, listen, why don’t you go shoot some tequilas while I get me a beer.

GIRL: But I can just come with you.

MANNY: (aggressive) Please?!

The girl gazes at Manny, who stares at her, telling her to get the hell out of here and take a shot of tequila somewhere. She gasps, raises an eyebrow, then leaves.

Manny shakes his head and catches up with Trevor who is on the terrace and about to walk into the crowded dance floor in the grand room.

MANNY: Hey, Trevor! Trev!

The music blasting from inside is loud as ever, but Trevor hears him and turns around before going inside.

TREVOR: Oh. You. Hey.

MANNY: Look, I’m sorry I ditched you earlier. I was being a dick.

TREVOR: (beat; awkward chuckle) Yeah, no problem, I guess. This night’s sucking hard already. Almost literally.

MANNY: What’re you talking about?

Trevor leads Manny away from the noise inside the house.

Cut to the big kitchen/dining room as Trevor and Manny enter through another door from the terrace. It’s well crowded, but there’s not as much noise there. Party guests are in beer chugging competitions, dancing, eating from the fridge, mixing drinks, etc.

Manny quickly snatches a beer from the counter. Then they walk straight up the stairs and sit down in the middle of it (this isn’t the main, curved staircases in the foyer, but a small one that connects the kitchen with the second floor).

MANNY: So what’s up?

TREVOR: Shane. He, uh…

Trevor pauses, not exactly sure if he should tell Manny the story. Manny opens the beer can, drinks from it. He studies Trevor’s face, then:

MANNY: He… sucked your—

TREVOR: No! No-no-no. God, no. But he almost did.

MANNY: (skirling) What?!?

TREVOR: Don’t… tell anyone! ‘Kay? It was so weird, and it came out of nowhere!

MANNY: I knew there was something fishy about that guy. But a fag? Never saw it coming.

He drinks some more. Trevor pretends not to let his statement get on his nerves. He takes the beer out of Manny’s hand and drinks some.

TREVOR: It was pretty f-cked up.

Manny laughs and takes his beer back. He stands up and starts walking down the stairs.

MANNY: Anyway, I gotta take care of something. (beat) But damn, having to sleep in the same house with that guy is just gonna be… odd. (beat) Anyway, see you around tonight?

TREVOR: You bet.

Manny walks down the stairs into the kitchen.

Cut to the freshman/sophomore house, the study. Shane walks in, crosses the room to a wine rack right next to the fireplace. He bends down to study the wine bottles, and sees red, white, champagne, etc.

SHANE: What do we have here…?

He’s more than tipsy, so whatever he likes, he takes… pulling out a 1998 Clos de Coisses champagne bottle.

SHANE: That should do it.

He tears the thin, silver foil off the cork as he heads into the kitchen.

Outside, we cut to stalker cam: Through the window – Shane exits the study and walks down the hall. The POV moves to the front door.

Back inside, Shane enters the kitchen and moves to a drawer. He pulls it open and takes out a corkscrew, plugs it into the cork and screws it down.

Cut to the foyer. The front door opens and a hooded monk figure creeps inside. The figure steps inside and closes the door gently behind.

In the kitchen, Shane pulls the cork out of the button. A little gush of foam pours out, but Shane immediately chugs the bottle so it won’t spill down on the floor. Instead, it spills on his clothes. He closes his eyes and continues chugging the champagne.

On the hall, the monk figure slowly moves towards the kitchen doorway, not making a sound. We pull in closer on the monk’s chest area. A leather-gloved hand reaches in and drags out the razor-sharp hand scythe: ching!

On Shane. He to the fridge and opens it, searching for something. He takes another sip of the champagne. The hooded figure appears in the doorway, but Shane is completely unaware of it. It moves in closer, scythe in hand. We hear dull footsteps. Shane turns around and sees the figure, who dives at him!

SHANE: *beep*

Shane ducks down the scythe from going into his head by inches! The scythe plugs itself into the fridge door. Shane is in a state of shock, but he stands up and whacks the bottle at the killer. The killer moves his head out of the way and the bottle hits the edge of the open fridge door, breaking in to glass shards, the wine streaming down on the floor.

The killer pulls the scythe out of the fridge door and turns to Shane. Shane backs up but tries to see who’s face is underneath. Blackness masks the killer’s identity.

SHANE: (shaking) The f-ck are you doing?!?

The killer slashes the scythe at Shane, but he quickly moves back and turns to run. He runs across the dining room to the glass door leading onto the patio in the backyard. The killer chases him down and shoves him with mighty force through the door.

Shane comes flying through the glass door, shattering it into small pieces. He lies on the wooden beams, groaning, surrounded by glass shards that are stuck in his back. The killer jumps out on the patio and closes in on Shane, scythe prepared.

SHANE: No! Dude, please – don’t! You don’t have to do this, man. (shivers) I’m sorry for whatever the f-ck I did, man!

The killer doesn’t respond and stands over Shane head. He tilts his hand and raises the scythe…

SHANE: No, please! Don’t f-cking do this!!!

The killer swings the scythe at Shane’s head, ramming it into his ear, pushing it through the other end. A gush of blood splatters out of Shane’s mouth. His eyes stare dead into space. Blood starts to fill up in his eyes, covering the white.

Cut to the senior/junior house. Jenny cruises through the crowd and grabs another girl by the shoulder. Ivy turns around, face alit from the satisfaction of the story she was telling her crowd. Her smile quickly fades.

IVY DESTEFANO: What is it?

JENNY REED: Have you seen Angela anywhere?

IVY: (after a beat) Oh, that drunk? Haven’t seen her.

Jenny looks away momentarily and thinks about something. Ivy responds.

IVY: Why?

JENNY: Well, you know she doesn’t know her own limits. I just wanted to make sure she wasn’t upside down in a dumpster somewhere, dead and raped.

IVY: (scoffing) Ya think you’re over exaggerating just a little?

Jenny shrugs, then:

JENNY: There really isn’t over exaggerating when it comes to Angela and mass amounts of alcohol.

Ivy nods her head slowly and sips some beer out of her cup.

IVY: It’s a safe bet she’s upstairs somewhere. Specifically in one of the guy’s bedroom.

JENNY: I’ll check it out.

Jenny walks off. Ivy turns back to her crowd and flips her hair.

IVY: Now…where was I? Oh yeah! So then she…

Ivy’s voice trails off as the scene switches to Jenny maneuvering through the crowd to find the staircase up. In her hurry, she bumps right into a hooded monk.

JENNY: Sorry about that!

Jenny hurries off again and disappears into the crowd. The hooded monk freezes in his position, head craned in Jenny’s direction. He remains there, just watching. After another moment, the monk throws down his hood.

Lloyd!

LLOYD DUNHAM: (laughing slowly) Ha…..ha. She bumped into me.

Lloyd keeps laughing to himself as he walks over to a liquor table. He begins to fill up his cup, still chuckling slowly and drunkenly.

Cut to somewhere else in the junior/senior house. Another hooded monk scans the crowd from the safety of his shadowy veil. He opens a nearby door and slips inside. Another quick look of people around. The figure then disappears inside.

The door slowly squeaks shut behind him.

Scene 8 – Mystery Message

Jenny walks out of the hall to the big foyer. The people around are having a blast. She moves up the first staircase she can find. As she moves upstairs, the sounds of the party get quieter, which is funny because when you’re down there, your ears are ringing and you can barely hear a thing. Jenny reaches the end of the staircase and steps into the hallway.

The lights are dim and the only sound is the faint party music. Kind of creepy. Jenny slowly starts walking forward. A door towards the end of the hallway opens up and Aiden steps up. He doesn’t notice Jenny at first as he fixes his hair and straightens his shirt. He walks in her direction.

JENNY REED: Uhh, Aiden?

He looks up in surprise, in a way like she’s not as important.

AIDEN JENNINGS: Whoa. What are you doing up here?

JENNY: Oh, I was just looking for—

AIDEN: (cutting her off) You know the party’s downstairs.

JENNY: Yeah but—

AIDEN: (interrupting again) So I think you should go back downstairs.

JENNY: Angela is up here somewhere, I think, and I…

Aiden moves to interrupt her Jenny again, but she, firmly, continues:

JENNY: (a little annoyed) And! And I was just looking for her because I need to make sure she’s okay.

Aiden folds his arms across his chest with a smug look on his face.

AIDEN: (snickering) I’m sure Brad is taking good care of her.

JENNY: Brad? Brad Anderson?

AIDEIN: (nodding calmly) Who else?

Jenny isn’t sure what to say. She knows what’s happening if Angela is alone with Brad. So maybe she is alright after all?

AIDEN: Now… back downstairs if you don’t mind. Second floor is for specific reasons only. (chuckles) I doubt that you’re up here for something like—

JENNY: (annoyed) F-ck you, Aiden.

Jenny turns around and walks back towards the stairs. Her mind seems to be wandering: Why is he so eager to keep her downstairs? What is he hiding?

Regardless, Jenny walks down the stairs and disappears into the dancing crowd.

Cut to Brad’s room. He paces at the end of the bed as Angela finally begins to stir. It’s alive!

BRAD ANDERSON: Can you hear me, sleeping beauty?

Angela slowly sits up. The first thing she does is grab her head and groan.

ANGELA: (groaning) I don’t feel so good…

BRAD: You gonna toss your cookies?

ANGELA: Please, don’t mention food right now.

Brad just leans back slightly and laughs. Angela pulls herself off of the bed and moves a hand over her stomach.

ANGELA: I think….I think I need a bathroom.

Brad quickly opens a door and leads Angela into a small bathroom. She immediately drops to the floor in front of the toilet. Blindly, she lifts the seat up and waits for the inevitable. Brad shuts the door. Then, he sits on the edge of the bed and sighs to himself.

BRAD: (re: Angela) Drunk.

Cut back downstairs hall. The sounds of the party immediately blast again.

Trevor and Manny walk by the camera, still talking rather intensely. Probably about Shane. They disappear from view.

Gabe is visible walking by next. He is holding a fellow Drunk Brother up.

GABE LIMON: You gotta lay down, ok?

The brother keeps trying to drunkenly pull away from Gabe. He sees a beer can sitting on the counter and quickly grabs for it. Gabe notices this and snatches for it also. The end result is half a beer can all over the floor.

GABE: Damn, man. No more for you!

DRUNK BROTHER: Pleassshhh?

GABE: Hell no. Now, come on before you throw up all over the floor.

As if his words triggered it, the Drunk Brother doubles over and starts retching. He suddenly throws up all over the floor, mixing with the spilled beer. Nolan walks in to see the mess being made.

GABE: (frowning) Ahh, f-ck, really?

The Drunk Brother then steps in his mess and almost wipes out. Gabe keeps him up and guides him towards the rooms. They pass by Nolan.

NOLAN MILLER: (laughing) Dude, that sucks.

GABE: Yeah. Can you find someone to clean this up? I gotta get him to a bathroom or something.

NOLAN: Yeah, sure, whatever.

Gabe supports Drunk Brother and they walk out of sight.

Nolan examines the mess for a second before yelling out:

NOLAN: (shouting) Pledges! Clean up on aisle 2! I sure as hell ain’t doing it.

He waits a moment but no pledges come rushing up. He starts to get impatient.

NOLAN: (calling out) A pledge better get his ass over here soon or someone’s gonna regret it.

His threats don’t seem to be working. No pledges anywhere to be seen. Is he stuck cleaning this mess up himself?!

NOLAN: *beep*

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nolan (karladrea) has a LoD choice to make. Will he:
A) Leave the puke on the floor and go girl-hunting.
B) Go to the basement to find cleaning supplies and do it yourself.
C) Go to the garage to find cleaning supplies and do it yourself.
D) Go to the laundry room to find cleaning supplies and do it yourself.
E) Find the nearest brother and force him to clean this mess up, then go and grab a beer.

You have 48 Hours to make your choice!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cut to the kitchen/dining room. Jenny crosses the room to a wheelbarrow stuffed with beer cans and bottles buried in ice cubes. She takes a bottle, but she has no bottle opener.

GABE: (O.S.) Want me to open that?

Jenny turns around and sees Gabe behind her, smiling. He holds up a bottle opener like a gift from God. She smiles and moves to him, holding up her bottle.

JENNY: Please?

Gabe takes her bottle and opens it. She takes it back and drinks some, eyeing Gabe as she does it. She stops drinking.

JENNY: Where have you been? I’ve been looking all over for you.

GABE: Looking for missing brothers that don’t understanding the meaning of being an Alpha.

JENNY: What, holding one’s brother’s hair while he pukes?

GABE: (laughs) In a way.

He leans over and kisses her. We’ve now learned that they are in fact together. Jenny pushes him off suddenly.

GABE: You wanna go somewhere? Somewhere that’s more—

He’s cut off as a Drunk Frat Guy walks into the kitchen from outside, throwing up his hands happily as he holds two champagne bottles.

DRUNK FRAT GUY: Alpha Zeta rules!!!

As he heads off into the house, Jenny turns to Gabe.

JENNY: Somewhere more quiet? Definitely.

Gabe laughs as they take off up the stairs. As they go, the camera pulls back for us to a hooded monk figure that watches them go. He is watching them.

Cut to upstairs, Brad’s room. The bathroom door opens ajar, but stops. Brad is looking out the window down on the party by the pool. He turns to the door and sees Angela come out. She’s looking depressed.

BRAD: You okay?

ANGELA: (still a bit drunk) No. I feel a bit better but… no, I’m not okay.

Brad sighs and steps away from the window.

BRAD: Look, why don’t you just go home?

ANGELA: Home?! But I live, like, bazillion miles away!

BRAD: I mean your sorority house. Delta Pi Omega.

ANGELA: (realizing) Oh… That home. But then I miss all the fun!

BRAD: The fun in here is already way below surface.

Angela lies down on the bed. She bites her lips and looks at Brad’s crotch. Things seem to be growing harder down there.

BRAD: The ship has sunken, Angela. Sorry.

ANGELA: Not if you let me be a part of the rise of Titanic, Brad.

Brad gasps, the mood of sex kicking in instantly. He jumps on the bed to Angela and kisses her. As he gropes her body, Angela moans. Things are getting really steamy in here.

Angela shoves Brad on the bed and she gets on top of him. He drags his monk robe and shirt off as she pulls off her nurse costume. She then takes off her bra and throws it on the floor, exposing her staggering-looking breasts. Brad grabs a hold of them. She giggles.

BRAD: Whoa, these tits are just so… so magnificent!

Angela laughs and kisses him. While kissing him, she undoes his belt and jeans.

BRAD: Oh god, yes, take ‘em off.

ANGELA: You like that?

BRAD: Uh-huh.

Brad helps her take his jeans off in the middle of action. They come off, including his boxers. Brad sits up, completely nude, and gropes her body, slowly taking her thong off.

Angela spots a condom on the bedside table. She snatches it, unwraps it with her teeth, but pauses. She eyes Brad, sexiness filling the room. Brad smiles, grinning.

BRAD: Just put it on, baby. I’m stiff as a f-cking rock!

Angela gets off him and does as he tells her to. The camera moves behind Angela, hiding Brad’s penis as she puts the condom on. Brad’s face changes, his eyes closing and his head leaning back in pleasure.

BRAD: *beep* yes.

Angela gets on top of him again, but this time she starts riding him, slowly. She moans in pleasure, clearly enjoying every bit of Brad.

Cut to the big garage. The music muffles through the walls and door. Ivy is there, alone in the dark, texting someone on her cell phone. He phone beeps. She opens the message. It reads: “U READY?”

Ivy sighs. She texts back: “Yes. Meet @ Theta Pi.”

The blasting music suddenly grows louder as the door opens. A black monk figure stands in the doorway. Ivy can’t see who it is.

IVY: Yes?

The figure extends its hand to light switch. It turns hits the switch and the garage lights flicker on. We see that it’s Aiden who’s underneath the hood.

IVY: Aiden? What’re you doing here?

AIDEN: I should ask you the same thing. What are you exactly doing here?

IVY: I-I-I was just… talking on the phone.

She lifts up her phone for Aiden to see. Aiden notices it quite clearly, but something is off in here. He closes in on her.

AIDEN: To who?

IVY: What?!

AIDEN: Talking to who, Ivy? I thought we made it clear, no secrets in our relationship. Right?

His voice is aggressively shaking up Ivy. She has a sheepish look on her face.

IVY: (after a beat) Carol. I was talking to Carol, she’s driver tonight. I was just telling her that we were maybe going downtown so she could give us a ride.

AIDEN: I can’t go downtown. Ivy, the house is a mess. I can’t just leave it like that.

Ivy walks past Aiden to the door. She’s a bit pissed off, but so is Aiden. It’s like they’re keeping something from us.

IVY: I’m going back to the party.

She stops in the doorway. Turns around.

IVY: Are you coming?

A long beat. Aiden looks down on the ground, then back up at Ivy.

AIDEN: I’ll see you in a bit.

The energy is intense with our couple. Ivy chuckles softly, cocks her eyebrows, then turns around and walks down the small hallway past the laundry. Aiden watches her open the door and go back to the party.

Aiden sighs and looks around the garage. It’s huge. There are three garage doors, but only one car is inside. Beat. F-ck this. He heads out of the garage into the party, shutting the lights and door behind him.

Scene 9 – Big Mess

Nolan looks around. No pledges are offering help…as expected.

NOLAN MILLER: (groaning) F-ck. Whatever, I’ll do it myself.

Nolan turns and goes down the hallway. He distances himself from the party antics as he heads for the basement.

NOLAN: (to himself) Mop, bucket, bleach…or some other high powered cleaning *beep*

He reaches the basement door. We recognize it as the basement door Stewart had disappeared down. Nolan just shakes his head and starts down the steps.

Each step creaks beneath him. Nolan reaches the bottom and feels around for a light switch. His hand passes over it and he flicks it up. Then down. Up. Down. Nothing happens.

NOLAN: Great. This would happen.

Nolan carefully feels his way around the corner of the stairs. And looks in the darkness. Sniffs quickly. The air smells strongly of marijuana. He just chuckles to himself. The room seems hazy and for good reasons. Nolan moves across the room. He passes by the boiler and through an open door. In the blackness, he doesn’t notice Stew’s body still pinned t.

Nolan shines his phone light on the wall. He scans over it, looking for the mop. He doesn’t notice that two things are missing. He finds the mop at the end of the line. He picks it up then turns and snags a bucket off the ground.

NOLAN: (murmuring) Windex is upstairs.

Nolan begins to walk out of the room, still not noticing Stewart.

Creak.

Nolan stops walking.

NOLAN: Yo, who’s there?

He can faintly see a shadow moving around by the steps. They seem to be stumbling around in the dark.

NOLAN: (laughing) You’re really drunk, aren’t you? I’ll get your ass back to the party.

Nolan switches the mop and the bucket to one hand. He walks forward and puts one hand on the shoulder of the “drunk” frat brother. He can barely make out the monk costume he is wearing.

NOLAN: Dude, you got some beer or something all over you.

Nolan reels as he feels the liquid substance in-between his fingers. Little does he know, it isn’t blood. Nolan just shakes his head and begins to guide the brother back towards the stairs. Suddenly, he feels a sharp pain in his stomach. The mop and bucket fall to the floor. Nolan stumbles backwards. He can feel blood coming from his stab wound. Unsure how to react, he glances up. He sees the hooded figure revealing a scythe from the folds of the robe.

NOLAN: (shocked, pained) Wh-wha the….f_uck?

Cut to the party in the grand room. Party goers are having a blast. Arms fly in the air. Some are holding cups, spilling alcohol on the rest as they shake. Couples kiss and dance together. Everyone’s having a great time.

Cut back to Nolan.

The scythe comes swinging at him but Nolan ducks, crouching to the floor. He feels the mop by his hand. He picks it up.

NOLAN: Eat this, f_ucker!

Nolan jabs the mop forward into the killer. It knocks him back, momentarily. Nolan gets back up and swings the mop again. The killer grabs it and knocks the mop away. He swings again, slashing Nolan across the arm. Nolan moves to the side as the scythe swings at him again.

He throws a quick punch but the killer grabs his arm and throws him into the wall. Nolan tries to recover but he feels the sharp edge of the scythe sink into his stomach again. Groaning, he slams the killer hard into the opposite wall. He limps away and reaches the stairs.

NOLAN: (yelling up) Help! Someone get down here!

We faintly hear the music. Nolan begins to move up the stairs but something grabs his ankle! He falls onto the wood, smacking his jaw against it. Before he can move or shout again, the scythe is stabbed into back. Pulled out. Stabbed in again. Nolan yells out in pain. Blood begins to leak down onto the steps.

Nolan jerks his leg free and drags himself up the stairs. He’s starting to feel weak, a little woozy. He continues to pull himself. He hears creaks as the killer rushes up the stairs after him. There’s a hard tug on his hair and a swift stab to the side. Nolan clenches his teeth and lets out a soft groan. The killer releases and he sinks down onto the steps.

NOLAN: (quiet) No…I’m not dying here.

Nolan kicks his feet out with the last of his strength. The killer goes flying back, crashing into a pile of things at the bottom. Nolan grasps each step with his hand and drags himself up. He finally reaches the top and flops halfway through the door on the hallway. The music from the party is extremely loud. The hallway is not as crowded as before. There are only a few people really intoxicated and a couple in the corner. We hear shouts coming from the kitchen.

NOLAN: (trying to yell) Hey! Help me…there’s some psycho with a…

He is cut off as the cloaked killer lands on top of him, digging his weapon deep into his back. He spits up some blood but it’s not visible on the carpet. Nolan slowly rests his head on the ground, breathing slowly and deeply. The killer rips his body back, dragging it into the basement and tossing it down the steps. Blood splatters on the floor and walls in the dark.

The Drunk Frat Boy at the end of the hallway glances at the basement door closes gently. His Girl grabs his face and turns it back to her, the two making out intensely again.

We see the basement door. The killer’s shadow is visible on the wall. A hand raises up holding the scythe. The shadow swings down, presumably digging the sharp weapon into Nolan’s dead body. After a moment, we hear footsteps.

The door slowly creaks shut as we…

Cut back to the party.

Lloyd is in the crowd. We focus on him dancing, grinding up to a Freshman Girl. He spins her around and attempts to kiss her, but she shoves him off. We barely hear what they’re going to say to each other.

FRESHMAN GIRL: Ew! No way in hell am I going to kiss you, scumbag.

LLOYD: C’mon, babe! I’m an Alpha Zeta!

FRESHMAN GIRL: A what?!?

LLOYD: An Alpha Zeta!!!

The Freshman Girl opens her eyes wide. She smiles. Bites her lip.

FRESHMAN GIRL: Well, in that case…

She pulls at his robe and goes in for a kiss. Lloyd blindly raises his cup, spilling beer on a costumed Jack Sparrow Guy.

JACK SPARROW GUY: Yo, man, what the f-ck?!

Lloyd pulls away from kissing the Freshman Girl and turns to the Frat Guy.

LLOYD: What?

His Star Trek Guy friend gives Lloyd the cold shoulder as he shouts:

STAR TREK GUY: You spilled beer all over his costume, dude.

The Jack Sparrow Guy pushes Lloyd on the Freshman Girl, causing her to stumble on the floor. Lloyd helps her up and turns to the Jack Sparrow Guy.

LLOYD: The hell is your problem?!

Lloyd pushes the Jack Sparrow Guy down on the floor, but his friend instantly punches Lloyd for it.

LLOYD: F-ck!!

Lloyd stands up and shoves the Star Trek Guy out of the dancing circle into the hall. The Jack Sparrow Guy follows. He grabs a hold of Lloyd from behind so the Star Trek Guy can knock the hell out of him.

STAR TREK GUY: Motherf-cker.

Suddenly, Aiden shows up and breaks the fight apart.

AIDEN: Hey-hey-hey! What the f-ck’s going on here?

The Jack Sparrow Guy lets go of Lloyd and turns to Aiden.

JACK SPARROW GUY: The jerk spilled booze all over my costume, man.

AIDEN: Are you a f-cking idiot? Do you not realize that you’re messing with an Alpha? (beat) Just get the f-ck out of our house. Now!

A bunch of robed brothers that have noticed the scenario are slowly surrounding them from all directions. The Jack Sparrow Guy and Star Trek Guy take off after laying hateful eyes on Aiden and Lloyd.

Lloyd turns to Aiden.

LLOYD: Hey, thanks—

AIDEN: (cuts him off) You have to learn to control your temper, Lloyd! Chill the f-ck down and don’t make such a big scene every single time.

Lloyd is slightly rattled by the tone of Aiden’s voice. It seems like he’s really pissed off.

LLOYD: (startled) Yeah. Sorry.

Aiden nods, turns around and walks toward the kitchen. Lloyd takes a deep breath and looks at the dancing partygoers. We can see that he doesn’t feel like dancing anymore.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Buzzkill! Lloyd (WeBandOfBuggered) has his first LoD choice to make. Will he:
A) Go up to your room and go to bed.
B) Go to the kitchen, grab a drink, then go to bed.
C) Go to the freshman/sophomore house and sleep there in peace.
D) Find Gabe and tell him to drink with you.
E) Go to the attic to smoke some pot.

You have about 48 Hours to make your pick!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cut to Jenny and Gabe upstairs. Gabe approaches his door and begins to push it open, smiling coyly at Jenny.

GABE LIMON: This isolated enough for your tastes?

JENNY REED: Oh yeah. It’s perfect.

Jenny comes closer but soon remembers her encounter with Aiden on this floor.

JENNY: Oh, forgot to tell you.

Gabe looks on at her questioningly.

JENNY: I ran into Aiden a little earlier looking for Angela up here. He bugged out and forced me back downstairs.

GABE: (chuckling) Aiden has a lot of dirty secrets lying around this house.

JENNY: (intrigued) Does he really?

GABE: Yeah, you’d be surprised.

JENNY: Tell me!

Gabe just shrugs and opens his bedroom door. He begins to walking in.

JENNY: (laughing, jokingly scoffing) Ugh! Gabe!

She follows him into the room but quickly stops and holds her nose.

JENNY: Oh god, what died in here?

GABE: (sighs) A cat, actually. Looks like that febreeze wasn’t good enough.

JENNY: A… cat?

GABE: Yeah, long story short, someone thought it would be funny to put a dead cat under my bed.

JENNY: Well, that’s not very funny at all! It reeks in here!

Gabe just sighs again.

JENNY: (trying to smile) Guess we’ll have to do.

The door shuts behind Jenny as she walks closer to Gabe.

Scene 10 – “One blood, one fraternity.”

Lloyd gazes out over the dancing crowd. We notice how he’s not in the dancing mood anymore. He takes the final sip from his cup, crumples it and lets it drop to the floor, then ponders for a moment. In his drunken haze, he evaluates what buddies are still around to drink with.

LLOYD DUNHAM: (sotto, to himself) Hmm…Gabe…Where’s Gabe?

Lloyd begins to stumble off, thinking of the last place he had seen Gabe. He walks through the kitchen. A lone Manny is standing by the kitchen bar, back to Lloyd. He finishes mixing his drink and turns around, but Lloyd bumps into him.

MANNY BECKETT: He-!

Manny looks into Lloyd’s face, about to snap at him, but luckily realizes in time that it’s one of his older frat brothers.

MANNY: (sincere) Oh, sorry! Did I spill anything on you? Are you alright?

Lloyd just squints at Manny, nodding. He doesn’t recognize him.

MANNY: You’re Lloyd Dunham, right?

LLOYD: Uhh…yeah. Sure. Whatever you want me to be.

Manny slowly begins to notice Lloyd is too drunk to hold a normal conversation.

MANNY: (leans back on the bar) I’ll let you go. Sorry again for bumping into you.

LLOYD: Yeah, yeah. Hey, have you seen Gabe?

MANNY: Wish I could help. I’m not sure who Gabe is.

Mumbling, Lloyd begins to walk away. Manny frowns, not sure if Lloyd was angry or just drunk. Trevor enters the frame, shooting a look at Lloyd who is still muttering. He joins Manny at the bar.

MANNY: Took you long enough. Where were you?

TREVOR VANDERBILT: I, my man, just got back from kissing the hottest girl on frat lane.

MANNY: Who? Shane?

They laugh, and Manny chugs some of his drink.

TREVOR: Gross, no. Besides, I haven’t seen him since…

MANNY: After what he tried to pull on you?

TREVOR: (sympathetic) Yeah. It’s not like I’m dangerous to him. Besides, he was drunk and upset when I left. Not really a good combo.

Manny shrugs.

MANNY: Whatever, man.

Trevor sighs, then takes two already used shot glasses on the counter. He takes a large Smirnoff Vodka bottle, pours into the glasses and hands one to Manny.

TREVOR: Here.

MANNY: The occasion is…

TREVOR: (raises his glass) To Alpha Zeta! “One blood, one fraternity.”

And then they suck the vodka in one gulp, the alcohol burning down their throats. Both of them make a funny noise and take a deep breath. Manny grabs his drink and washes his mouth with it to get rid of the taste.

MANNY: (then) Man, I hate sucking up to the brothers.

TREVOR: Pain, isn’t it?

MANNY: Yeah, I just bumped into that Lloyd guy and I had to act like he was the pope or something.

AIDEN: (O.S.) Trevor Vanderbilt!

His serious voicetone startles both Manny and Trevor. They turn and see him by the island counter. Aiden is glaring at Trevor, who isn’t wearing his monk costume.

TREVOR: (to Manny, re: Aiden) Speak of the Devil…

AIDEN: Why aren’t you dressed? Where’s your costume?

TREVOR: Uh, it’s in the freshman house. Sorry, I got thrown into the pool and—

AIDEN: I don’t care about your excuse, Trevor.

TREVOR: (confused) But you just asked me—

AIDEN: Go back to the house and get it now. Rules are rules. You’re not setting a good example if you want to get a pin.

Aiden eyes him with a slight nod. Then he leaves. Trevor turns to Manny again, a little nervous.

TREVOR: I guess I’ll have to go get it.

MANNY: (cheering) I’ll drink to that!

Manny begins to chug the drink in his cup.

MANNY: And I’ll come with you. I could use some space.

TREVOR: Thanks.

Manny look around. He grabs a Sorority Girl walking by, who also happens to be holding a vodka bottle. He pulls her closer.

SORORITY GIRL: Hey!

MANNY: Fill up my good man a little, would you?

The Sorority Girl grins.

SORORITY GIRL: Sure thing.

She tips the bottle and pours some vodka into Trevor’s cup, but he pulls away. Liquid spills on the floor tiles.

SORORITY GIRL: Hey!

TREVOR: Not for me, sorry.

MANNY: (rolls his eyes; sarcastic) Cheers!

TREVOR: (smiles) Cheers.

They clink plastic together and down their drinks.

MANNY: I’ll meet you out front in five, I gotta take care of something first.

Trevor nods and raises his glass again as Manny disappears into the crowded dining area of the kitchen.

We cut to upstairs, the hallway. Lloyd has managed to find his way up. He stands squinting down the dimly lit hallway.

LLOYD: Gotta love the lighting in this house…

He trails off as he starts feeling his way down the hallway. His vision is slightly blurry and hindered by the alcohol. Nonetheless, Lloyd keeps moving forward.

LLOYD: (sing-song) Oh Gabe, my boy, you up here? Lloyd wishes to drink with ye.

There is, obviously, no answer. Lloyd keeps walking without a destination.

A door creaks open somewhere nearby unknown to Lloyd. He keeps walking, using the wall as a support. We hear footsteps somewhere in the hallway, closer to Lloyd this time than the door opening. Lloyd seems to half register the noise but doesn’t pay much attention to it. The footsteps quicken.

Lloyd pauses. Turns, as someone runs right into him!

BRAD ANDERSON: (slightly out of breathe) My bad, bro. Have you seen Jenny or Ivy or any of those girls around?

LLOYD: Not that I can remember…why?

BRAD: (chuckling but serious at the same time) Well, I just finished my sex romp with Angela and she immediately started drinking again. She’s in my room now, and I think someone needs to get her home.

LLOYD: Oh. That’s rough. Sorry, haven’t seen any of those sluts.

BRAD: Damn….err, well, I got a possibly alcohol-poisoned girl to deal with. See you around.

Lloyd gives a quick wave and Brad goes back to his room. Lloyd shakes his head as he feels a headache coming on. What to do now?

He turns around and disappears downstairs.

LLOYD: Gabe!

Cut to Brad’s room, as Brad comes through the door. He’s caught off guard when he sees that Angela is missing. She’s not lying on his bed anymore.

BRAD: Angela? (beat) Angie?

He moves to the bathroom door.

BRAD: Angela! You in here?

He walks into the bathroom, but there’s no one inside. Just a single toilet, a sink and a shower.

BRAD: (heading out the door) F-ck! Now I got a missing alcohol-poisoned girl to deal with.

As Brad shuts the door, we…

Cut to a long upstairs bathroom. We see the shower stalls, toilet stalls and sinks along with some other bathroom things. The bathroom is deserted…

Until we hear water gush into a sink. Angela is by that sink at the end of the bathroom behind a shower stall. She lets the water fill up her plastic cup and then she drinks it.

Her cell phone buzzes. Brad has sent her a text message. It reads: “where r u??? need 2 get u home.”

She closes her phone and gasps, indignant and overtired. The door at the other end opens and closes. Angela looks down the bathroom hall but sees no one.

ANGELA: Hello?

No response. She slowly creeps down the hall. We hear the blasting music from the party outside through the closed windows.

ANGELA: Brad is that you? I don’t have to go home. I really don’t.

Still no reply. Angela moves toward the door… slowly… as the tension rises.

ANGELA: Hello—

She’s cut off as a hooded figure emerges out of one of the shower stalls, knocking Angela to the wall. It’s the killer. He swiftly takes out the scythe-sickle from his robe and raises it, about to slash at a screaming Angela.

Angela kicks and punches all her limbs wildly at the killer. She kicks the killer’s leg and he releases her.

ANGELA: (screaming) Help me!!!

She runs for the door and swings it open but is violently yanked back in by the killer grabbing her mouth and neck.

Angela’s screams muffle through his leather gloves. She thrusts her elbow at his ribs and he loses grip on her. Angela sprints down the empty hallway, screaming wildly. She runs down one of the bowed staircases and ends up in the foyer, where more college kids are streaming in.

ANGELA: Help me somebody!

We go back to upstairs, on Gabe’s door as it swings open. Jenny steps out in the hallway after hearing screams. She realizes they’re Angela’s.

JENNY: Gabe, come on, hurry!

Gabe follows her as they run down to the foyer. She runs to the intoxicated, yet terrified Angela, who’s in a state of having a panic attack. Jenny calms her down as they step out on the portico. Gabe follows.

JENNY: Hey, hey, hey. What’s going on? What happened?

Angela is having a hard time expressing herself. She just cries.

ANGELA: There…there…there’s a guy up there. He tried to kill me, I swear! He pushed me on the wall and took out this knife, and…

Jenny looks up at Gabe, who is having hard time believing Angela. Same goes for the rest of the people around them. Jenny turns back to Angela.

JENNY: Listen, everything’s going to be okay.

Ivy suddenly comes storming out of the house.

IVY: (worried/irritated) What the hell is going on? Chloe told me she saw Angela screaming like a psycho.

Angela looks down on the ground. Jenny tries to comfort her by stroking her hair.

JENNY: She said she was attacked. That someone tried to kill her.

Ivy gasps in disbelief. Then she laughs.

IVY: Kill her? Unf-cking believable. Angela, you have to go home.

ANGELA: No!

IVY: You’ve crossed the alcohol line of Delta Pi Omega! (to Jenny) Take her home. Now.

JENNY: But what about Carol? (hesitates; then) Alright. It’s the least a sister can do.

IVY: That’s the spirit I’ve been craving from you for the past three years!

Ivy goes back into the house with a forced fake smile. Gabe sighs and turns to Jenny.

GABE: Want me to come with you?

JENNY: (smiles warmly) That would be great. (to Angela) Come on, stand up. Let’s get you home.

Gabe and Jenny help Angela up, and then they head to the Delta Pi Omega sorority house across the street.

Scene 11 – Sister, Sister, Oh So Fair…

Cut to the fraternity house. We see Ivy passing through the crowded hall. The DJ has taken a little break, so the music isn’t as loud anymore. Her phone buzzes. She takes it out of her purse and checks who’s calling – “Derek”

IVY DESTEFANO: Sh-t.

She lets the call go. For now.

Cut to the upstairs hallway as Ivy walks up the stairs. The music drifts as she walks down the hallway toward the bathroom, dialing someone on the phone. She puts the phone against her ear and waits…

A man’s voice answers. It’s Derek (whom we recognize from earlier in the car).

DEREK: Hello, Ivy.

IVY: (angry) F-ck you very much. I almost got busted earlier. Aiden walked in on me in the garage.

DEREK: But you got out of his grip, right?

IVY: (snotty) I did, not thanks to you.

DEREK: (laughs) Listen, what do you say we meet up tonight? I’ve got some… treats.

Ivy steps into the bathroom. This is the same place where Angela was attacked. She turns on the lights and looks around, thinking deeply.

IVY: (sighs) Sure. Where?

DEREK: I’ll pick you up at the Theta Epsilon.

IVY: That’s almost down the f-cking block—

She stops. Takes a deep breath.

IVY: Fine.

DEREK: That’s my girl. I’ll be there at 11:00.

Ivy hangs up and takes another deep breath.

IVY: (to herself) Anything for coke.

She turns to leave, but catches her eye on something on the floor by the showers. She walks toward the thing and sees that it’s a cut-out news paper article. She studies it and picks it up.

A moment later, the front door of the Delta Pi Omega sorority opens. Angela dashes inside, followed by Jenny and Gabe. Jenny takes her hand and leads her up the stairs.

JENNY REED: (encouraging) Baby, c’mon.

ANGELA HENDRICKSON: (sotto) You have to believe me.

JENNY: (to Gabe) Could you get a pitcher with some water and some aspirin? The pitcher is in the—

GABE LIMON: In the bottom cabinet right next to the dishwasher. The aspirin is in Angela’s top drawer of her nightstand. Got it.

We know that Gabe has done this before. Too many times, perhaps. Jenny forces a smile as she takes Angela upstairs. Gabe moves further into the house, heading for the kitchen.

Jenny and Angela reach the top of the staircase. They walk down the hall toward Angela’s room. They open the door and step inside.

ANGELA: (sniffs snot and tears) Jenny, please believe me.

JENNY: Ang, I do. I mean, I… (sighs; then) You’re drunk. Do you need to throw up?

ANGELA: No! Why won’t anyone listen to me?!? Someone tried to f-cking kill me!

Angela is on the nerves of breaking down. She dashes onto her bed, her body hitting the soft duvet. She sniffs and sobs as she lies with her arms wrapped around her legs.

ANGELA: And that c-nt Ivy doesn’t give a sh-t about me. She never did.

Jenny sits down on the bed and strokes Angela’s hair, comforting her.

JENNY: (trying her best) She doesn’t give a sh-t about any of us. She’s just thinking about herself, don’t let it bother you.

ANGELA: Whatever.

We cut to Gabe in the kitchen. He roots around in a cabinet and pulls out a large, plastic pitcher. He stands up, then walks over to the sink. He turns on the water.

We cut back to Angela’s room. Gabe comes inside with a full pitcher of water with ice cubes in it and a glass.

GABE: Here we go.

He sees that the nightstand is piled up with some stuff you’d see in every girl’s bedroom. He takes a moment to think of where to put it down.

GABE: Jen? A little help?

JENNY: Oh, right.

She takes the pitcher and the glass. Then she pours some water into the glass and hands it to Angela. Angela sits up and rests her back against the wall. She takes the glass, and Jenny hands Gabe the pitcher, reaches into the top drawer of the nightstand, finds a bottle of Aspirin and hands it to Angela.

ANGELA: Thanks.

Jenny only smiles as Angela opens the bottle, takes two pills and flushes them down with a glass of water.

Gabe puts some of the stuff on the nightstand on the floor to make room for the pitcher. He sets it down.

GABE: Are we all set?

JENNY: I think so. (frowns; wonders) Wait, where’s Carol? (calls out) Carol?!?

This startles Angela and kicks a headache up to her head. She rubs temple with her free hand.

ANGELA: Jesus, Jenny. Don’t yell like that. I mean, I nearly got butchered with the Grim Reaper’s blade, and now I have a killer headache!

JENNY: Sh-t, I’m sorry.

She takes the Aspirin bottle from her, puts the cap on and sticks it back into the drawer.

JENNY: Listen, Gabe and I are gonna go back to the party. Will you be okay?

ANGELA: (a little pissed off) Sure. Just don’t be surprised if the walls are painted red in this room when you come back.

Jenny forces a smile, not knowing what to believe. She jumps off the bed, and Gabe and her go to the door.

JENNY: I’ll leave the door open. Just call for Carol if there’s something you need. She should be here somewhere.

Angela nods and gets back into her sleeping position, wrapping the duvet around her body. Jenny and Gabe exit and walk down the hall to the staircase. They pause before going down.

GABE: You think she’ll be fine?

JENNY: I don’t know. But where the hell is Carol?!

She takes out her cell phone and dials Carol’s number as they walk down the stairs to the front door. We hear a dial tone muffle through the phone. Jenny waits for Carol to pick up as they walk out the front door. Gabe closes the door.

Suddenly, Carol’s voice crackles through the phone. Jenny is relieved.

CAROL (on phone) Hey.

JENNY: (urgent) Carol, where are you? We need you.

CAROL: Jenny, I’m… kinda busy right now, ya know?

JENNY: Wait, you’re inside the house?

CAROL: (chuckles awkwardly) Yeeeaahh. And, F.Y.I., not alone.

JENNY: Listen, Angela’s in her room. Take care of her if she needs you.

Jenny hears a man’s laughter in the background. Carol giggles.

CAROL: (to the man) I heard you just a second ago. (to Jenny) And I’ll take care of her, (laughs) when I’m done. Okay, love you, bye!

Beep! as Carol hangs up. Jenny takes a deep breath, still stressed. Gabe smiles to her.

GABE: So she’s got it covered?

JENNY: Yes. Thank God. Let’s just get back to the party.

Gabe smiles again, nodding. He’s loving the idea.

Cut to outside the freshman house. We see Manny running up to the house. He’s sweating for some reason.

MANNY BECKETT: Trevor?

He reaches the front door, opens it and steps inside. He shuts the door, greeted by the silence that remains inside. It sounds and seems like the house is deserted.

MANNY: Trevor? You in here?

No response. Manny moves toward the staircase and goes upstairs…

Suddenly, a rattling noise erupts from somewhere in the house, forcing Manny not to go upstairs. He takes a moment to listen carefully. He blinks his eyes, a little drunk.

MANNY: Trevor, is that you?

He hears a clatter somewhere. It’s like metal hitting tiles. The noise must be coming from the kitchen. Manny is a bit uneasy, alone with no one but himself. He laughs softly and moves down the hall, heading toward the sound.

Manny steps inside the kitchen. He looks down on the floor but sees nothing that could have made the noise earlier. He moves quietly through the kitchen to the dining area. This is when he sees glass shards on the floor by one of the backdoors. He walks to the door and views it, not aware of what has actually happened here.

MANNY: What the…

He looks out on the big patio through the smashed glass door. We notice how there’s no blood or no body of Shane. There’s only blood on the tiny glass shards that Manny doesn’t even see through the dark.

MANNY: Damn.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rawkwame! Manny has a LoD choice to make. We’re not racists, our list is. Will he:
A) Go look around the house for Trevor and tell him about this, if he’s even here.
B) Go straight to Aiden and tell him about this.
C) Go upstairs and see if Shane is alright, to make sure he’s not involved in this.
D) Clean this mess up yourself, someone might have seen you go inside the house.
E) Leave it and go straight back to the party. Screw Trevor for not waiting.

You have 48 Hours to make your choice. Choose wisely, these suckers are hard.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cut to the Delta Pi Omega sorority, Angela’s room. Angela lies in her bed, close to falling asleep. She’s still a nervous wreck, trying to keep her eyes and ears open and alert. This comes to help her when…

The front door suddenly shuts! The bang echoes through the silent sorority. Angela’s eyes snap open. She looks at the open bedroom door. She hears nothing afterward, but listens carefully…

ANGELA: Jenny? (no response) Carol?

No one out on the hall or downstairs answers her. But we know for sure that someone came inside the house.

ANGELA: Ivy?!

Still, no one calls back at her. She climbs out of bed and slowly moves to the door. Her head is still pounding.

On the upstairs hallway, we see Angela’s head poke out of her room. She dares herself to walk out into the hallway and slowly moves down to the banister. She’s still drunk but is aware of what she’s doing.

ANGELA: Hello? Anyone?! Carol, is that you?

She slowly walks to the top of the staircase and creeps downstairs. We see that there’s no one in the foyer below her. Angela scans the place, clutching the wooden handrail tightly. She reaches the bottom of the stairs. Behind her is a dark sitting room. The lights are off and we expect someone to jump at Angela from behind anytime now…

But no one does.

ANGELA: Sh-t. Hello!?

Angela walks down the hall into the house. She walks by a tight, long hallway and stops in the middle. She looks down the dark hallway, doing nothing but scaring herself.

ANGELA: (takes a deep breath) Come on, get it together.

She walks further into the head and enters the dark kitchen. There’s no one inside except Angela’s presence. She hits the light switch and the kitchen brightens with lights. Angela goes to the fridge to grab a drink. Maybe that will help calm her.

The camera stays put on Angela’s side as she opens the fridge door, blocking what she takes out. She closes the door…

And a dark cloaked figure that wasn’t there before waits only a few feet next to her. Angela is in focus holding a milk carton, and the figure is blurry to us.

Angela takes the cap of the milk carton and drinks some. It’s only now when she feels the figure’s presence. She slowly moves her head in its direction.

We focus on the scythe in the killer’s hand. He’s clutching it tightly. Blackness masks his face. Silence. Angela automatically drops the milk carton on the floor tiles, and milk spills everywhere. Her eyes widen in terror. Then she looks back up at the killer.

Angela makes the first move and runs screaming out of the kitchen. The monk-costumed killer chases her down the hall and into the foyer.

ANGELA: (screaming) Noooo!!!

She runs for the front door, but the killer tackles her to the floor! She screams for help and struggles to free herself. The killer (lying on the floor as well) pulls her legs, dragging her toward him. Angela claws her fingernails into the floorboards, screaming.

ANGELA: Let me go! Agh!!! (cries) Help me somebody!

The killer turns her on her back, slamming the back of her head against the floor. She feels dizzy, realizing that this might be her last moment alive.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Baby_Claire! Angela’s in some BIG trouble. If you escape the killer’s savage claws, will the rest believe you the second time around? Will she:
A) Scream and beg for mercy, and Carol!
B) Make a quick crawl and flee wherever into the house.
C) Kick the killer in the nuts – that is, if he has a pair.
D) Kick the killer in the legs, tripping him. He must stumble down for a second or two.
E) Aim for the chest

Angela lays on the floor, dazed and in pain. A dark, cloaked figure towers over her with weapon in hand. The figure is slightly blurry to us.

Angela begins to come to her sense as the killer bends down. She draws her legs in then lashes out, hitting her attacker right in the shins. He stumbles backwards as Angela claws into the ground to get herself up.

Semi drunk and with a pounding headache Angela stumbles over to the front door. She rips it open but the chain lock has been put in place!

Cut outside. Barely visible behind Jenny and Gabe, we see the Delta Pi door crack open.

Close on – Angela‘s frightened face as she screams for help:

ANGELA HENDRICKSON: Jenny!!! Help me!!

Angela is violently jerked back. The door slams shut. A beat of silence remains outside of the sorority house. We only hear the noise of the party across the street. Then we...

Cut back inside. The hooded killer holds Angela around the waist, pulling her away from the door.

ANGELA HENDRICKSON: (screaming) No! Let me go!

She thrashes back and forth desperately. The killer struggles to hold on to her. Angela elbows him, freeing herself from his grasp. She runs into the sitting room.

She freezes in front of a window. Jenny and Gabe are across the street, heading back towards the party. She begins to slam her hand on the glass, nearly breaking it.

ANGELA: (desperately) Oh my god, Jenny! Gabe! Please help me!

It’s obvious they can’t hear her due to the blasting music. Angela tries lift the window up but the killer swoops in and puts his hand over her mouth. She screams muffled into his gloved hand. He drags her away into the darkness.

Cut to the Alpha Zeta house, the portico. Jenny glances back at the sorority just in time when Angela was pulled back. Gabe guides her through the front door.

GABE LIMON: Come on.

The two disappear as the door shuts behind them.

We smash cut back to Angela as she is slammed onto a table. A hand wrapped around her throat, squeezing, and the other raising up the scythe. Angela chokes and sputters, clawing at the killer’s hand. Her legs flail and kick but do no good. She moves her head side to side, anything to get out of the killer’s grasp. But then she spots a candlestick!

Before the killer can react, Angela grabs the candlestick and bashes it into the side of his head. He lets out a soft groan as he pulls away from Angela and drops his scythe to the ground, rubbing the side of his head. Angela slides off the table and falls to the floor. She notices the sharp weapon next to her. She grabs it, stands up, and takes off through the house.

ANGELA: (screaming) Carol! Carol?!?

Angela sprints through the kitchen, almost losing her balance on the spilt milk. She manages to stay on her feet and continue on through the kitchen. She reaches the back door and looks behind her quickly. The killer is hot on her trail!

Angela pulls the door open and bolts across the porch, down the steps and into the grass. It’s very dark here. She makes sure the killer can’t see her from inside the house. Angela steals into the bushes in the garden right next to the steps. She presses herself against the side of the house and holds her breathe. The scythe is clutched to her chest.

The back door creaks open…

Terrified and hesitantly, Angela looks up for a peek.

Angela’s POV: The killer slowly walks out to the top of the steps. He scans the open backyard. He doesn’t see Angela. Everything is dead quiet.

Angela isn’t breathing or moving. The killer listens intently. Gradually, he begins to move down the steps. Each wooden step creaks beneath the weight. He makes it all the way down and stands in the grass, listening once more. A cold drop of sweat drips down Angela’s forehead and down the side of her face. She doesn’t dare move to wipe it away.

The killer suddenly breaks into a run and takes off towards the side of the house. Angela wait’s a few beats. She stands up slowly, trying not to rustle the bush. She takes a moment to clear her thoughts and plan an escape.

The killer is obviously heading towards the front of the house. She can’t just go back inside and head out front. She needs to call help somehow.

Angela turns around and eyes up the large trellis behind her (http://www.academyfence.com/images/arborstrellises/ns/english_wall_tre llis_large.jpg). Above it is a slightly ajar window. Angela quickly begins to climb the trellis. She keeps a firm grip on the scythe as she scales the wall. Angela reaches the top and heaves herself through the window. She falls to the floor but quickly collects herself.

It’s dark in here. Angela feels around for the nightstand. There is a telephone there. She quickly picks it up and dials 911 on the pad. She holds the phone to her ear.

No ring. Angela waits another moment. Still no ring.

ANGELA: (worried) What…?

She looks to the phone. It’s still connected. What’s going on? She redials the number and holds the phone back to her ear.

ANGELA: (muttering in a panic) Come on… C’mon!

Oddly, she hears breathing on the other line.

ANGELA: (confused) He-hello?

VOICE: (O.S., whispering) Hello, Angela. Where did you get off to?

Is this the killer? Angela is caught off guard. Her eyes widen in terror.

ANGELA: (yelling, crying) F-ck you!

Angela slams the phone down. Some involuntary tears begin running down her face. Angela quickly wipes them. Her lip quivers and her body shakes. She’s close to a break down. Someone, she manages to stay in control. At least for a few more minutes.

ANGELA: (softly, while crying) What the f-ck am I gonna do?

Suddenly, the sound of a door opening and slamming from down the hallway startles Angela. She slowly stands, her grip around the scythe remaining rock solid.

ANGELA: (whispering) Carol?

She tip-toes over to the door as quiet as possible. She grabs the doorknob, turning it slowly and cracking the door open. She looks out into the bright hallway. No sign of anyone. Who could it have been? Carol? The killer? Someone else?

Angela continues to peer out into the hallway. She isn’t sure what to do. She slowly creeps out, opening the door more as she goes along. Angela enters the narrow hallway, staring down the length of it. She takes a few steps forward. The door to the room she had left slowly shuts by itself. Angela doesn’t seem to notice.

The hooded killer is right behind the door. Now equip with a butcher knife.

Angela freezes in the hallway, her heightened sense of paranoia getting to her. She seems to feel a presence behind her. Indeed, the monk is visible behind her. She cries quietly. Turns…

And the already running killer smacks her down, breaking her nose badly! She whimpers and groans in pain. Blood pours out of her nose, mixing with tears and saliva. The monk slashes at her, but misses as she crawls backwards. She kicks the knife out of the killer’s hand, sending it flying across the hall.

ANGELA: No!

She throws the scythe at him, missing his head by inches! She turns and speed-crawls to the stairs. But the killer rushes toward her and rams the knife into her back!

The cold and sharp pain erupts in Angela’s lower back. She drops to the floor with a cry, lying helpless on her stomach. The butcher knife protrudes from the small of her back. The killer withdraws the knife and delivers a hard kick to her side. Angela flops to the side, crying in pain, as some blood begins to leak to the floor.

ANGELA: (coughing blood) F-ck… you.

The killer harshly grabs Angela by the hair and lifts her up. With no mercy, he slams her head against the edge of the top step of the staircase. We hear something crack.

Beat. She’s still alive, suffering the pain. She weakly begins to drag herself down the stairs. Meanwhile, the killer moves to the scythe on the floor. He picks it up and methodically follows Angela, taunting and teasing, waiting for the right moment. He tilts his head.

Angela is grabbed by the back of her collar of her bloody nurse costume.

ANGELA: (screaming, dribbling blood) Help me! Someone!?

Angela weakly stands up and begins to walk unsteadily down them. She clutches the wooden railing with both hands while her feet trip over one another. The killer slowly follows her. He reaches her in the middle of the staircase and slams her into the railings, then wildly slashes at her.

Her blood-curdling screaming gives us the chills. Angela raises her hands to her face to block the blade. It comes across her palms and arms, cutting her deeply, drawing blood everywhere.

Angela can’t take it anymore. She tries to stand on her feet, fighting the pain. She’s starting to fade. But suddenly the killer violently kicks her in the back, sending her down the stairs. She slams onto the edges of the steps and rolls down on the floor. She doesn’t cry. She only shivers, whimpering softly in pain. She tries to move to the front door, crawling as blood pours from her wounds. She suddenly stops moving. We only hear her breath.

The killer moves down the few steps left and walks toward Angela. Angela is still huddled in a mess of her own blood. Her breathing is shallow and her body is very battered and bloody. The killer moves back so he’s towering over her.

And then the killer raises the scythe up high and swings it down. The tip goes right through Angela’s back. He withdraws it and stabs her again, and again, and again! With one last stab, he rams the scythe into the back of Angela’s neck, sending it all the way through almost like a hook. The killer pulls up Angela’s body by this and looks her in her dead eyes.

Blood bubbles out from her mouth and neck. She’s dead. The monk rips out his scythe. Her body collapses to the floor with a thud.

Everything is still again. The killer takes out a rag and begins to clean the bloody weapon.

Cut to Alpha Zeta, Gabe’s room. Jenny takes a seat on Gabe’s bed. The window is open and the reeking smell isn’t as bad as before. Gabe notices how Jenny is deeply thinking.

GABE: What is it?

Jenny runs her fingers through her hair and takes a deep breath.

JENNY REID: I just have a bad feeling about leaving Angela behind.

GABE: Carol will take care of her. Come on, stop worrying about it.

JENNY: (sighing) I just feel like I should stay by her side. The look in her eyes was just…

GABE: (frowning) Jenny, why should we suffer and miss out on the party because Angela couldn’t handle her drinks?

JENNY: You don’t understand.

GABE: That she’s an alcoholic?

Jenny gives him a mean look, gasping, stands up and goes for the door. Gabe rolls his eyes and stops her.

GABE: Sorry, sorry. That was stupid.

JENNY: (folds her arms) You don’t have to come with me. I just want to stay with her for a little bit more, to make sure everything is 100% cool.

Gabe gently places his hands on Jenny’s shoulders. She looks up at him.

GABE: (smiling) Listen, babe. Angela is perfectly fine. She’s drunk and talking crazy. And if anything does happen, Carol is right there to help her. So what do you say?

Jenny can’t help but smile back at him. Gabe kisses her quickly then takes her hand.

GABE: (teasing) And maybe we could finish what we were about to start before the chaos?

Jenny puts up a “Are you kidding me?” face and pulls away.

JENNY: Sex, sex, sex. That’s all you Alpha’s think about.

Gabe laughs.

Cut to the outside of the sorority house. Everything is quiet and normal, except for the raging party across the street. We see a car pull up to the curb. The girl inside kisses the driver and steps out of the passenger’s side. It’s Carol.

CAROL: (to the man in the car) See you later, hot stuff!

The car revs up and takes off down the dark street. Carol watches it go, then walks up the lawn. She reaches the door, takes out a key chain from her jacket pocket and is about to put it in the key hole. What stops her is a voice that scares the sh-t out of her.

IVY DESTEFANO: (O.S., agitated) Carol?!

Ivy appears, storming across the lawn toward her. Why on earth is she going back to the house?

CAROL: (nervous) Oh…. Ivy. Hi.

IVY: What are you doing showing up here in that car? You were supposed to stay in the house in case if someone needs a ride. Angela’s inside, drunk as sh-t.

CAROL: Ivy, chill out! The house is right across the street. (lying) And I didn’t even know Angela was home!

IVY: (storms at her, hands on her hips) You know better than that, Carol. Stop being irresponsible and selfish. You better not let me catch you out of the house again tonight.

Carol just nods sheepishly, but with a mean look too.

IVY: I’m going back to the party. Get inside and check on Angela.

Ivy begins to walk away, leaving Carol mortified and a little embarrassed. Ivy spins around one last time.

IVY: (threatening) Lie to me again and I’ll kill you.

Carol nods again and hurries up the front door of the sorority. Ivy turns and crosses the street to the party. Carol puts the key in, unlocks the door and looks inside. She freezes. Drops her keys to the floor. The door is suddenly shut, as we…

Smash cut to Alpha Zeta, Gabe’s room.

Cut to the freshman house. A door swings open and we see Manny’s face poke inside, searching for something.

MANNY BECKETT: (sighing) Sh-t… (looks around; mutters) Cleaning supplies and a sweeper.

He steps inside and looks around. He finds some an old broom and a modern every-day sweeper.

MANNY: There we are.

We cut to the foyer. The door opens and a hooded monk steps inside. Is it the killer or someone else? We’re anxious to know. The figure shuts the door.

Cut back to Manny. He hears the door and goes out of the dirt room into the big kitchen.

MANNY: Trevor?

In the foyer, the monk is startled by Manny’s voice. He looks up and creeps into the house.

MANNY: (O.S.) Trevor? That you?

Back to the kitchen. Manny moves toward the kitchen doorway…

MANNY: You cannot believe the mess someone made in here.

We follow the killer to the hall. As he comes around the corner, the blurry figure of Manny comes out of the kitchen. We zoom to Manny, who studies the figure. The figure stops.

MANNY: Trevor? Shane?

The monk doesn’t react in anyway. Manny walks closer.

MANNY: I’m guessing Shane. Struck mute because Trevor shot you down earlier. Am I right?

Still no answer. Manny stops right next to him. The hood is pulled up further than normal, blocking the person’s face.

MANNY: Dude, help me out here. There’s broken glass everywhere!

The monk doesn’t respond.

MANNY: (chuckles, annoyed) Well, fine, if you’re not doin’ it, I ain’t either. I sure as hell ain’t dealing with it alone.

Manny turns away and goes back into the kitchen. After a beat, the hooded figure follows him.

Manny walks through the broken glass door and goes outside, then walks down the path back to the junior/senior house. The monk slowly cranes his head to watch him. Manny continues down the path then glances behind him. The monk is following him, slowly but surely. Manny quickens his pace.

MANNY: Stop creeping, buddy.

The monk quickens also, hastily catching up with Manny. Manny breaks into a light jog, constantly checking over his shoulder. The monk is also jogging after him.

MANNY: Dude! What are you doing?

The monk is faster, drawing closer. Manny hurries up the portico and into the house. He stops for a second and looks back. The monk freezes at the bottom of the steps. He slowly reveals a scythe from the folds of his robe. A faint trace of blood is on it.

MANNY: Whoa, hey, that’s not *beep* cool.

Manny spins around and rushes back to the heart of the party. Everything seems to be in full swing on the dance floor. Blasting music. Flashing strobe light. Hyped up crowd. Drunk yelling, cheering and laughing. Manny darts towards it but looks back one last time. No sign of his weird stalker. He pushes through the people and begins to get lost in it.

A few moments later, Manny gets on his tip toes and looks out over the crowd. Across the dance floor is a hooded monk, forcing his way through people. Heading in Manny’s direction. Manny curses silently under his breath. He turns and tries heading out the other way. A large group of people push him back, too busy dancing to let him by.

MANNY: (yelling) Hey, excuse me!

No one listens. He can’t get through the crowd. He looks back. The figure is coming closer, easily maneuvering through the crowd. Manny tries to push through the people. Not working. He starts to sweat. It’s extremely hot and claustrophobic on the dance floor. Manny pulls at the collar of his robe. He gulps dryly and scans again. The monk is very close this time.

MANNY: Sh_t….

Everything seems so loud. The pounding music rocks his eardrums. He gets knocked side to side by drunk, dancing party goers. Sweat pours down his face. The monk pauses right next to him. Scythe in hand. Manny prepares to punch the person, in a state of agitated paranoia. Before he can, he feels a sharp pain enter his stomach. He looks down in horror and then looks back up to the monk.

The person is staring at him from under the darkness of the hood. His hand is gripped tightly around the scythe currently embedded in Manny’s stomach. He rips it out and Manny immediately clutches it. The person swings again, stabbing him in the side. Manny lurches and stumbles aside. The killer swings once again, catching Manny in the chest. He coughs violently and yells out in pain. He falls aside and grabs the arm of an extremely drunk dancing man.

MANNY: He-….help me…

Some blood dribbles out of his mouth.

MAN: Whoa! Easy on the jelly shots, bro! (laughs) Pledges for the win!

The man playfully shoves him away and starts jumping up and down. Manny lands on two girls. They turn around, giggling, clearly intoxicated. Everything is going very fast now. Manny’s POV is going in and out of focus. The music is pumping in the veins of his head. He dries the blood off his mouth, leaving a thin trace across his cheek.

GIRL #1: Hey, you’re that stud from the hot tub!

GIRL #2: Party hard!

MANNY: Please…

They turn back around and scream along with the music. Manny limps backwards. The killer watches him sadistically. In the hardcore, crowded dancing area, no one notices the struggling pledge fight for his life. The killer stabs him in the back. Manny screams out again and almost falls over, the party racing around him even more than before. He swings weakly at the killer, knocking him away slightly. The killer retaliates by punching Manny straight in the face. There’s a crack as Manny goes sprawling backwards. Blood pours from his possibly broken nose.

Manny dashes out of the dance floor and stumbles into a corner as the killer stashes his scythe and begins to slink away. Manny clings to life as he looks up at the ceiling. He sees flailing arms move eerily in the fast strobe light. His eyes begin to hurt and his head spins. Blood oozes from his four stab wounds. It also streaks down his face, down his neck, and onto the floor. How can no one notice?! He’s right next to them!

The dance floor continues partying in an uproar behind Manny’s. There’s no sign that anyone knows or cares. The killer flips Manny’s body, turning his face against the wall and puts him in a position like he’s passed out after too much drinking.

Scene 13 - Building Tension

Cut to the frat house, Aiden’s room. Aiden walks inside and starts scrambling around. Brad comes in shortly after, watching Aiden mindlessly. We notice how pissed off Aiden is.

BRAD ANDERSON: Bro, you okay?

Aiden takes out his cell phone and dial’s Nolan.

AIDEN JENNINGS: (fuming) Where the hell is Nolan? And where the f-ck were you?

BRAD ANDERSON: Um, I was….nowhere. Nolan? Not sure. But why the hell aren’t we downstairs getting hammered?

AIDEN: (almost growling) Just because! (no one answers his phone call) F-ck! I need Nolan for the pinning ceremony.

BRAD: (chuckling) I don’t think anyone will notice he isn’t there. Everyone’s way too wasted. (suggestive) Like we should be.

Aiden just shoots Brad a look. He clearly wants to do things by the book. He grabs a box from one of his drawers and peers inside. All the pins are there, except one.

AIDEN: Sh-t, one of the pins is gone.

BRAD: How many do you got in there?

AIDEN: Nine. We’re supposed to have ten. There’s ten pledges.

Brad thinks for a moment, then:

BRAD: (taking it lightly) Just don’t accept one of the pledges. Problem solved!

Aiden closes the box and glares at Brad again.

AIDEN: (defensively) You know, your jokes aren’t appreciated. They’re pathetic. We need to do this, and do it right!

BRAD: (beat; holds up his hands) Alright, man, got it. I’ll help you look.

Aiden sets down the box and the two begin to search.

Cut to downstairs where the party is raging throughout the house. Trevor makes his way through the foyer and steps outside. He looks around and carefully scans the front yard.

TREVOR VANDERBILT: Manny?!

He suddenly hears someone groaning on the side of the house. Trevor turns and sees Lloyd lying against the wall. Trevor sighs and goes toward him.

TREVOR: Uh, are you okay?

LLOYD DUNHAM: (almost passing out) No. I’m not okay, I need something. Anything. I think someone slipped me roofies. And that’s so not cool!

Lloyd’s opens one eye. He sees that Trevor isn’t wearing his costume.

LLOYD: You know, Aiden’s gonna have a fit on your ass if you don’t wear your costume. Seriously.

TREVOR: He already did. I’m just on my way to get it, it was in the dryer.

LLOYD: Then you better get it, quick, and come back with some water, some seriously strong painkillers and a sh-tload of condoms, ‘cause I’m getting laid tonight!

Trevor is about to say something, but he just nods.

TREVOR: Okay. I’ll be right back, don’t go anywhere.

Lloyd lets out a drunken laugh as Trevor sheepishly heads toward the freshman house.

LLOYD: I can’t go anywhere, dumb pledge.

We cut to Trevor hurrying through the front door of the freshman house. His pace slows considerably as he faces the dark, empty house. He pauses for a moment, looking around.

TREVOR: (quietly) Kinda creepy…

Trevor begins walking again. He goes right up the steps, not noticing the mess in the kitchen or the broken glass door just beyond the kitchen. Jogs up to the second floor.

It’s quiet here too except for the low rumbling of the dryer somewhere on the floor. Trevor heads down the hallway and makes a right into the room at the far end. He flicks the light on to reveal a small laundry room. The dryer shakes and rumbles with the clothes inside. Trevor reaches across it, hitting a button. The dryer shuts down.

Trevor pulls the small latch door open and peers inside. Two robes stop spinning around in the barrel of the dryer. His and Shane’s. But didn’t Shane come over to get his a while ago? Shaking his head, Trevor pulls his robe out and unfolds it. It feels warm in his hand. He slings it over his shoulder as he pulls out Manny’s robe also. The camera view switches to inside of the dryer, looking out at Trevor. He tosses Shane's onto of the dryer and shuts the door. Blackness.

We cut back to the laundry room to see Trevor fitting the robe back over his head. Something creaks behind him and moves down the hallway. Trevor gets his robe all the way on and throws down his hood. Another creaking noise.

TREVOR: Hello?

Obviously, no answer. Trevor adjusts his clothing slightly then walks out into the hallway. Just as dark and deserted as he first found it.

TREVOR: Someone there?

Silence. Shrugging it off, Trevor heads for the stairs. About halfway down, he hears another noise that causes him to freeze. Much more than a creak. Coming from what sounds like the attic, things are crashing and falling. His grip around the wooden railing tightens. His eyes crane upwards the ceiling.

TREVOR: What the…?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Trevor (horrorfan45), what is this, Black Christmas or something? What are you going to do about the attic disturbances?

A) Check things out. What’s the worst that could happen?
B) Ignore it and head back to the party
C) Call Manny’s cell to see if it’s him upstairs
D) Search around the house a little more before heading out
E) Remain on the stairs and wait for something to happen

Cut to Alpha Zeta, Gabe’s room. Jenny is standing by the window, looking out. Her hair is a little messy but she’s got a slight smile on her face. Behind her, barely visible, Gabe is putting his shirt back on.

GABE LIMON: (O.S.) Anything interesting out there, babe?

JENNY REED: (giggling) No. I was just thinking.

Gabe comes up behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist and kissing her neck once.

GABE: Thinking about what?

Jenny turns to face him, smiling wider. She kisses him quickly on the lips then pulls back, looking at him.

JENNY: How much I love you.

GABE: I love you too, Jenny.

They kiss quickly again. What a sappy moment!

Jenny turns around, gazing out the window. She spots Ivy across the street, heading over from the Delta Pi house.

JENNY: Oh, look! Ivy’s coming back from the Delta house. Maybe she was checking on Angela?

GABE: (under his breath) I highly doubt that.

Jenny breaks away from Gabe’s embrace, heading for the door. She stops in the doorway.

JENNY: I’m going to go talk to her.

GABE: (sighing) I’ll be down in a second.

Jenny nods and disappears down the hallway. Gabe takes a seat at the end of his bed. He laughs lightly to himself.

GABE: That girl is all over the place…

We cut downstairs. Jenny makes her way through the hyped up crowd and to the front door just as Ivy is coming up the portico.

JENNY: (meeting her) Ivy!

Ivy looks up. She walks up the portico and stands toe to toe with Jenny.

IVY DESTEFANO: Jenny.

JENNY: Were you just at the house?

IVY: More or less, yeah.

JENNY: (hopeful) How’s Angela? Did you check up on her?

IVY: (hesitant) No…I just grabbed some…money from my room and left.

Jenny frowns.

JENNY: What about Carol? She was there, right?

Ivy lets out a low, boisterous laugh. Jenny is confused.

IVY: Carol, Carol, Carol. Let me tell you about her. I ran into her coming back from a sex romp with her new boyfriend of the week. So basically, that slut left Angela all alone in the house when it was her job to stay home.

JENNY: (not amused) What?! She told me she was at the house!

IVY: (shrugs) She lied. Girl’s a liar.

Jenny huffs slightly as Ivy flips her hair over her shoulder. Behind Jenny, Aiden passes by. He pauses, clearly agitated, spotting Ivy in the doorway. The two eye each other dangerously. Jenny notices Ivy’s death stare and spins around. Aiden has already gone.

JENNY: (turning back around) What is it?

IVY: (flatly) Nothing.

And with that, Ivy moves past Jenny and disappears into the party. Jenny stares across the street for a beat. She fights a temptation to go across the street. She backtracks inside the house, the door shutting softly behind her.

We cut to the outskirts of the dance floor. It’s the same chaotic, action packed dancing we saw before. Lloyd has somehow managed to find his way inside. He’s leaning against the wall, cradling his head with one hand and slowly swishing his other hand to the beat of the music. Next to him, facing a corner is a familiar body. Manny’s. Lloyd half heartedly converses with him.

LLOYD: (tiredly) So I took a rake and smacked him upside the head with it. Ironic ending, isn’t it?

Lloyd peeks out of his hand at Manny. He taps him slightly.

LLOYD: Are you even listening to me?

Manny doesn’t respond.

LLOYD: (grunting) Snooze fest!

Lloyd dangerously staggers to his feet. Using the wall as support, he hobbles away.

The camera lingers on Manny’s dead body for a beat for cutting away.

Scene 14 – Windows Are Cracking

Trevor slowly creeps down the hallway, approaching the attic door. He stops by the door, pauses, and then opens it slowly.

We cut into the pitch black attic stairs. It’s a narrow walk up to the attic itself. Trevor moves up. Reaches the top, and we cut up to the attic as we pull in on Trevor.

He coughs lightly as the musty and moldy smell of the attic hits his nostrils. Covering his mouth and nose, he scans the attic. Dust gently floats around. Nothing seems amiss up here.

TREVOR VANDERBILT: Hello?

Silent. Trevor begins to descend when there’s a small creak. His head darts back up. Everything seems to be in place. A warm breeze hits the side of his head. Trevor turns to face it.

An open window at the end of the attic. An old coat hanger and some boxes lie on the floor. This was the noise before. Shaking his head, Trevor goes back downstairs.

Cut to Trevor walking downstairs to the main floor. Still not in his monk costume, he lightly jogs down them, creaking as he goes. He makes a swift turn through the foyer and into the dining room.

Cut to the Alpha Zeta house, Aiden’s room.

It is empty until the door swings open and Aiden violently moves Ivy through the threshold. He slams the door behind him. Ivy is clearly not happy with being handled so roughly.

IVY DESTEFANO: (agitated) What’s your deal?

AIDEN JENNINGS: Cut the sh-t. Where’s the pin?

IVY: Pin? What pin?

AIDEN: Don’t pull the innocent act with me. I know you too well. I know you’re one to always try and one up me and ruin my plans. I wouldn’t put it past you to steal an Alpha Zeta pin.

IVY: (laughs mockingly) Steal your precious little pin? I have better things to do than steal a pin. Like get drunk and get laid.

Aiden dangerously steps closer, positioning his face almost pressing against hers. His breathe reeks of alcohol.

AIDEN: (whispering harshly) Or do drugs.

Ivy’s face hardens. She tries to shove Aiden away from her but he stands strong.

IVY: (furious) You don’t know anything about that.

Aiden pushes her back, knocking her onto the bed.

AIDEN: I know more than you think I do. And I know you have something to do with this.

IVY: (almost screaming) I already told you there’s no point in me stealing your pin! What the hell could I possible get out of that?

Aiden takes a few steps backwards, laughing loudly and fake.

AIDEN: Oh, Ivy. Ivy, Ivy, Ivy. It’s much more than just the pin. It always has been.

Ivy promptly stands up, smoothing out her costume.

IVY: (stalwart) Look, you’re drunk and you have no idea what you’re saying. Let’s not do this right now, okay?

AIDEN: I’m not f-cking drunk.

Aiden swoops forward, grabbing Ivy by the shoulders a little roughly. She tries to move his wrists away quickly but he keeps a hold of her.

AIDEN: Even if I were, a drunken man’s words are a sober man’s thoughts.

IVY: Then keep your words to yourself.

Suddenly, Aiden makes a move on pulling Ivy closer to him. The sexual tension is heating up now, until…

Ivy gets a burst of strength and forces him away. She moves around him, opens the door and pauses halfway out.

IVY: You disgust me.

And with that, Ivy turns and hastily leaves. Aiden watches her go downstairs.

Cut to exterior of the house. Lloyd stumbles out, wiping a few stray chunks of vomit from his mouth. Somehow, Lloyd managed to wander back outside after being inside. He takes a moment to breathe deeply, taking in the warm, comfortable air. His vision is a little blurry and his senses dulled. His head swims, lost in thought and drunken disarray.

Lloyd suddenly hears a faint banging noise.

LLOYD DUNHAM: (groaning, rubbing his temple) Ahhh, stop hitting the drum!

The noise continues, followed by a faint yell. Lloyd squints, trying to focus his eyes. He sees a shadow moving in the window across the way at the freshman house.

LLOYD: (drunkenly) Yo, what up freshman kid?

Lloyd begins to stumble toward the freshman house. He sees a figure. Then noises of things breaking come from the house, but most of them are brought under by the music from the main house and its backyard. Lloyd moves closer toward the house.

He reaches the house and peers through the window he saw the figure in. Lloyd lets out a drunken chuckle. Close on the window, and Lloyd peeking inside…

Trevor’s body hits the window! Bangs on it desperately, yelling inaudibly. Lloyd almost trips back, screaming.

Inside the house, the living room. A sweat drop drips from Trevor’s forehead. He continues hitting the window in panic, then looks back in fear, then back at Lloyd outside.

TREVOR: (screaming) Help! Help me, please!

Outside. Lloyd starts breathing rapidly, trying to catch his breath at the same time.

LLOYD: Dude!

Trevor keeps banging on the door. He finds a silver candlestick and smashes it through the window, but the candlestick gets stuck in the window. The glass is thicker than he thought!

TREVOR: (begging) Lloyd, help me!

Lloyd stands up and tries to open the window. It moves up a few inches, and Lloyd keeps pushing with Trevor’s help.

TREVOR: Hurry!

Lloyd pushes the window up with all his might, confused, panicking and afraid. Trevor’s hand comes out and pushes the window up even more, until it won’t go farther…

The candlestick in the window is blocking it. *beep* Lloyd tries to push it farther but it’s no use.

Lloyd’s POV: Trevor looking to his side, scared as ever. Then, he looks at Lloyd, even more afraid, and he’s violently yanked back from the window, ripped away, screaming!

Banging and yelling erupt from inside.

LLOYD: Hey!!!

Lloyd tries to see what’s going on, his intoxicated mind unable to process what’s going on. A beat later, blood is splashed all over the window, followed by Trevor’s hand trying to crawl up the windowsill. It streaks down, soundless but menacing and terrifying. Lloyd slowly dawns on realization.

Lloyd sees Trevor stumble onto the floor, dead. Then he looks inside the room. The lighting is gloomy and dim. But something by the dining table catches Lloyd’s eyes…

A hooded monk, in the shadows of the room. Not moving. Just… staring at him.

LLOYD: No way…

Gulping, Lloyd tries to think of hell he should do.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lloyd (WeBandofBuggered)! Due to some inactivity, you’re even drunker than before, confused and a little nauseous. What are you going to do?

A) Get Aiden. He would want to know what’s going on.
B) Go into the freshman house through the front door to make sure Trevor’s not dead.
C) Go into the freshman house through the side door for the same reason as B.
D) Get the first person you can find and let them know what you saw.
E) Flee the scene and run down the street for safety.

You have about 48 Hours to make your pick.

Cut to the main house again, the backyard.

People are partying in the pool and the hot tub, as well on the ground and porch.

Jenny walks out and looks over the place. It’s rocking! Someone bumps her shoulder, almost pushing her. It’s Ivy.

IVY: Watch where you’re going.

JENNY REED: Excuse me? Ivy, what the hell?

Jenny realizes that Ivy is pissed off.

JENNY: What’s your problem?

IVY: This fraternity is my problem! This party sucks.

Both girls view the raging party in the backyard. Everyone is having a great time. Jenny turns to Ivy, cocking an eyebrow.

JENNY: Seems like everyone’s having a blast – except you.

IVY: Please. This party blows as much as Angela blows cocks.

Jenny doesn’t laugh. She only glares at Ivy, a little irritated.

JENNY: Speaking of Angela, did you go check on her when Carol came back?

IVY: Uh, no.

JENNY: Why not?

IVY: Why should I? The girl’s not my problem tonight. Odds are that she’s lying by the toilet in her own vomit, Jen.

Jenny gasps slightly and turns to go back into the house.

JENNY: Stop being such a f-cking bitch all the time.

IVY: (gasps, offended; then) Where are you going?!

JENNY: To check and see if your “sister” is alright!

Jenny disappears into the house. Ivy shakes her head, still offended by Jenny’s comment. She stands still for a moment like a complete fool. Her face tells us she’s not happy about Jenny crossing her.

Scene 15 – Dropping Alphas

Cut to the foyer. This area of the house is less crowded now, since the party is racing through the grand room or out back, or in the upstairs bedrooms.

Jenny appears behind the corner and moves to the door. A Sexy Devil Girl runs past Jenny, laughing, followed by a muscular Nerd Guy (the irony in his costume is more than noticeable).

JENNY REED: Hey, watch it, watch it!

NERD GUY: Sorry!

As they disappear into the party, Jenny continues to the door. She reaches the door…tries the door know…

Lloyd dashes in, almost stumbling on Jenny. Jenny shrieks as Lloyd looks around, obviously sober, but his eyes tell Jenny that something’s off. She can’t put her finger in it, though.

LLOYD DUNHAM: Whe-where-where’s Gabe? Where’s…where’s Aiden?

JENNY: Lloyd! Lloyd, what happened to you? What’s wrong?

Lloyd ignores Jenny as he looks ahead of him, trying to find someone. He yells out:

LLOYD: Aiden! Aiden!!!

Cut to Aiden’s room. Aiden’s inside, watching the pool party from his window.

LLOYD: (O.S.) Aiden!

Aiden looks away from the window, the worried voice of Lloyd catching his attention. He goes for the door.

Cut to the foyer, stairs. Lloyd is about to go into the dining room, but Aiden appears on top of the stairs just in time.

AIDEN JENNINGS: Lloyd?

Lloyd is relieved, and he runs up the stairs. They meet in the middle of the staircase. Jenny tries to hear what they’re saying, but the music is too loud now.

On Lloyd & Aiden.

AIDEN: The hell’s wrong with you? You’re shaking.

LLOYD: It’s…it’s…um, it’s…

AIDEN: (impatient) Well?!?

LLOYD: (stuttering) The ple- pledge—

AIDEN: Pledge? What pledge? (then) You’re drunk as sh-t, Lloyd.

LLOYD: He’s dead. In the house.

Jenny’s POV: Lloyd pointing his finger to the other Alpha Zeta house next door.

Beat. Then, Jenny opens the door and exits the house.

Aiden and Lloyd go downstairs. Aiden pulls out his cell phone and dials someone. We barely hear the dial tone due to the music. Then, someone answers.

AIDEN: Gabe, where are you? (beat) Okay, I don’t care. Meet me out front, now.

Aiden hangs up the phone and rushes out of the house, followed by a frightened and heavily intoxicated Lloyd.

Cut to the Delta Pi Omega. Jenny skips across the street and makes her way to the front door, still wondering what was wrong with Lloyd. She tries the door – it’s locked.

JENNY: Sh-t.

She looks through the narrow vertical windows on each side of the door, but the white curtains block her view.

Jenny bangs her fists on the door.

JENNY: Hello? Anyone inside? (beat) Carol?

No response. Jenny sighs, and heads to the back of the house.

Back to the Alpha Zeta house. Aiden and Lloyd wait by the empty portico. Aiden suddenly notices that the table with the bracelets and the steel money box is still there, but no one is guarding it.

AIDEN: F-cking idiots! Who the hell is supposed to be on duty?

Lloyd, ignoring Aiden, has a death stare at the window with the silver candlestick stuck in it. Aiden takes the steel money box, more than pissed off.

The front door opens, and Gabe comes out, a little drunk. The party noise inside pumps up and drifts, as Gabe closes the door.

GABE LIMON: What do you want Aiden?

Aiden flashes smile that goes away in a split second.

AIDEN: Your best friend’s having a freaks how breakdown because a pledge died.

Gabe is taken back – ‘Dead?’

GABE: What-what do you mean?

Lloyd doesn’t reply. His eyes stuck on the window. Gabe puts a hand on his shoulder for comfort.

AIDEN: That’s sweet.

GABE: Lloyd, tell me what’s wrong. What happened?

LLOYD: (beat; eyes on the house) In there. Guy’s f-ckin’ dead. Trey…or Travis, or Tr—

AIDEN: Trevor? The punk who wasn’t wearing his robe? (chuckles) Should’ve know what goes around, comes around.

GABE: Aiden, stop.

Aiden shakes his head, laughing inside himself. Lloyd sits down on the steps, devastated. He vents a long sigh, his eyes bruising up with tears and overtired due to the alcohol.

GABE: Lloyd, what did you see?

There’s a beat.

AIDEN: You gonna talk or not?!

GABE: Aiden! Just…stop.

Aiden frowns, laughing. He drags Gabe away from Lloyd.

AIDEN: C’mon, let’s go then. To the house.

GABE: Aiden, you’re drunk.

AIDEN: I’m just as intoxicated as you, brother. And you’re not close to being sh-t-faced like Lloyd here. So let’s go check out what he’s bullsh-ttin’ about. I’ll deal with him tomorrow.

Gabe thinks about this, as he looks back at Lloyd. It’s obvious that he doesn’t want to leave Lloyd behind. Beat.

GABE: Let’s get him to bed and check it out then.

AIDEN: (smiles) Atta boy.

They hear laughter nearby. Aiden turns to see a dressed-up couple walking up to the house. He pulls Lloyd up and gives him to the couple. Lloyd is confused by this.

AIDEN: Here. Take him to his room and make him go to bed. Pop him two painkillers and give him a glass of water, then you can go screw each other.

Aiden waves them goodbye into the house, and the couple lead Lloyd into the house, a little shocked. Gabe watches him disappear inside, feels bad about it.

AIDEN: (not caring) Let’s go.

Aiden takes charge as he moves toward the freshman/sophomore house. Gabe follows. Beat, as they approach the house. Neither talk…

Until Gabe breaks the ice.

GABE: You know, you didn’t have to be dick to Lloyd.

AIDEN: Please. As if I care for him anymore. The guy’s drunk every weekend. You know, his brother was like this as well. My brother told me. The two weren’t really “brothers” after graduating, ya know?

GABE: Aiden, the guy said someone was frickin’ dead. A pledge, to top it off.

AIDEN: You know, Gabriel, just because someone’s dead, it doesn’t mean the jerks of this house have to run around screaming my name like bitches.

Gabe stops Aiden.

GABE: Why are you so frickin’ pissed?!

AIDEN: One: Ivy’s being a f-cking bitch going behind my back, and two: someone’s stealing the pledge pins.

It takes a while for Gabe to take this in – ‘Is he for real?’

GABE: They’re pins, Aiden. Get a grip.

AIDEN: I’ll get a grip once you stop being an ass.

Gabe, irritated, pretends to laugh it off, and they continue their way to the house. The raging party in the backyard of the main house is booming. They reach the smashed window with the candlestick stuck in it. Aiden groans, pissed off as hell.

AIDEN: Are you f-cking kidding me? Smashing plates and glasses is one thing, but windows? Where’s the goddamn respect? The party’s not even in this house.

GABE: (sarcastically) Yeah, when Lloyd mentioned someone being dead, I bet that someone was thinking of making his way out as neatly as possible.

AIDEN: Doesn’t mean he couldn’t use the door.

GABE: Aiden, we should be more serious about this. Let’s go inside.

Aiden mocks him, nodding.

Cut to inside the sorority house, the kitchen. A figure appears in the window above the sink. It’s Jenny, she’s a silhouette.

On Jenny, as she peeps inside. Sees light through the kitchen facility door. Jenny moves to the back door and tries it. It’s locked, just like the front door.

JENNY: You got to be kidding me.

She pulls out her phone and dials…

Close on the phone screen, highlighted: “Poison Ivy”

Jenny puts the phone against her ear and waits for Ivy to pick up. The dial tone muffles through the phone, as Jenny continues waiting.

IVY: (O.S.) What?

JENNY: Do you have the keys to the house?

IVY: (O.S.) Yes.

JENNY: Then meet me out front of the Alpha house in a minute.

IVY: (O.S.) Yeah, how about no?

JENNY: Excuse me?

IVY: (O.S.) I have to be somewhere… And frankly, I don’t have time for you.

JENNY. Ivy—

Click, as Ivy hangs up on Jenny. Jenny rolls her eyes, even more pissed off.

Cut to the Alpha Zeta junior/senior house, the upstairs hallway. The booming party downstairs almost blowing the floor off. The costumed couple helps Lloyd down the hallway.

BROTHER: Hey, bro, where’s your room?

LLOYD: Leave me alone, you don’t have to do this.

The Costumed Brother instantly lets go of Lloyd and smiles to his girl.

BROTHER: Let’s go then.

The Costumed Girl cocks her eyebrows, smiles, and they rush back downstairs, laughing. At the corner of the staircase, they pass a cloaked hooded figure; a monk. Is it the killer?

Lloyd stands still, slightly rocking. Then, he leans against the wall. The camera pans from Lloyd’s tired, teary face. Zooms to what’s by the corner: the hooded monk figure.

And then, Lloyd seems to feel the figure’s presence. Lloyd slowly turns around. Sees the figure of the monk, the lighting from the opening of the stairs almost filtering past him.

Lloyd begins panting and moves down the hallway to the nearest door.

Cut to inside some room, as the door opens, and Lloyd enters. He closes the door, locking it. Lloyd crosses the room to the window. He looks outside to see no one.

Suddenly, Jenny appears from behind the sorority house. She walks across the street.

Suddenly, a knock on the door. This makes Lloyd jump out of his skin.

LLOYD: (dizzy, nervous) Yes?

There is another knock.

LLOYD: That’s not funny. Go away!

There isn’t another knock this time. Lloyd remains frozen in place. He waits another moment. Slowly, he crosses the room once more and goes to the door.

Breathing heavily, he unlocks the door with a click. His eyes are glued on the door. He begins to open it, wary of anyone on the other side.

There’s no one there.

He opens the door all the way and glances out into the hallway. No one is there. The party booms downstairs. Head hurting, tired and freaked out, Lloyd turns back around. Gently, he pushes the door shut with his hand and begins walking to his bed as he takes the monk robe off, tossing it on the floor.

Suddenly and silently, the door stops itself before closing all the way. The camera moves down to reveal a boot in the threshold. Without a sound, a gloved hand pushes the door back open.

Lloyd is at the left side of his bed, taking off his shoes. He doesn’t notice the figure, blurry to us, behind him. It doesn’t move at first but soon brandishes a scythe from his robe, prepared to wield it, and silently moves to the right side of the bed.

Lloyd pulls off his second shoe and tosses it across the room. He sighs, ready to just crawl into bed.

In the background, close to Lloyd by the other side of the bed, the figure leans back and then pitches the scythe forward.

Close on Lloyd’s face, as he pulls the covers up. Out of nowhere, the silver tip just barely protrudes from his forehead, shattering tiny stains of blood on the floor. Beat.

On the back of Lloyd’s head, we see how the scythe has penetrated through the back of his skull.

Lloyd’s body waivers for a second, as blood begins pouring from the split on his forehead – and the killer violently jerks the scythe out of Lloyd’s head, pulling him back, and Lloyd’s body falls onto the bed.

More blood begins to seep out from his forehead, staining the white sheets. Then, the killer cleans the carnage off the scythe, and then gently pulls the sheets over Lloyd’s dead body, followed by the thick bedspread placed over his entire body. It’s as if Lloyd has passed out.

The hooded killer puts the scythe back under the robe and moves to the door. He gets out, and gently closes the door behind.

Scene 16 – Draining the House

Cut to the freshman/sophomore house, foyer. Aiden looks around as Gabe closes the front door. He looks around with Aiden. Then, they moves into the dining room, and towards the shattered window.

Gabe pokes at the candlestick lodged in the window and it falls to the ground. He notices some sort of liquid substance streaked on the broken shards. He bends down to pick up the candlestick. It is slightly dented and bloody. He stands back up.

GABE LIMON: (concerned) Something’s up. Look at this.

He holds the stick out for Aiden. He snatches it from Gabe and looks at it.

AIDEN JENNINGS: (irritated) The hell is this?

GABE: Looks like blood to me.

AIDEN: (scoffing) No way. Lloyd is drunk off his ass, he has no idea what he saw. It’s probably…jell-o shots or something.

GABE: (cross) How naive can you get? Blood and jell-o shots?

Gabe shakes his head. Aiden throws the silver stick to the ground, growing increasingly angry.

AIDEN: Just shut up and look around. Let’s go.

Aiden walks past Gabe, purposely bumping into him. Gabe clenches his fist, more than pissed off at Aiden’s attitude, but he sighs and follows him towards the glass doors to the hall.

AIDEN: (continuing) There’s no trace of blood anyway. Wouldn’t you think someone had dragged the “body” across the floor?

Gabe opens his mouth to answer, but Aiden cuts him short.

AIDEN: There was no one killed in here. The place just got seriously wrecked.

Aiden opens the doors and creeps inside, Gabe following closely behind.

AIDEN: (yelling) Okay, whatever drunken *beep* decided to trash this place better come out right now before I find you and tear you apart myself.

GABE: Cool it. Let’s do this without killing anyone else…

AIDEN: (rolling his eyes) There’s no dead pledge here. I mean, I highly doubt there is.

Gabe just shakes his head.

Cut to the far end of fraternity lane. The sound of heels clicking to the cement sidewalk catches our attention. It’s just who we think it is…

Ivy. She walks down the sidewalk to a familiar car parked near some fraternity house. The laughter of older women comes from this house. It seems like there’s a small party with the house mothers of fraternity lane in there.

Ivy gets to the car and hurries inside, sitting next to our mystery man: Derek.

IVY DESTEFANO: (dry, sarcastic) Could you have picked a better spot?

DEREK: What, you afraid to get caught by your house mom?

IVY: I am, in fact.

Derek laughs for a second. Then, he runs his hand up Ivy’s thigh, going under her miniskirt.

Ivy looks Derek in the eyes – and smiles, as she leans over to make out with him. The two start cropping and kissing each other like animals after Ivy makes room for herself on top of him. Looks like she abandoned any fear of getting caught.

DEREK: God, baby, I missed you.

IVY: Oh yeah?

She unleashes the controller of back of the seat, and the two of them fly back as the front seat forms itself out like a one-person’s bed.

DEREK: (smirking) I forgot how rough you were.

Ivy laughs as they wildly continue their sexual act. She starts to unbutton his pants and pulls them halfway down. Her eyes go wide, but we don’t see a thing.

IVY: And I forgot how big that was.

Derek cocks his eyebrows, more than proud of her comment.

DEREK: C’mere.

Derek pulls Ivy closer but she draws away.

IVY: (smiling) Oh, no, no, no. First, I get the better stuff. Then I get the good stuff.

DEREK: You’re practically sitting on the better stuff.

Ivy leans over, seductively.

IVY: I want it while we do it.

Beat. Derek sits up and takes something out of his pocket: a bag with white powder in it. It’s cocaine. Ivy snatches it, opens the bag, digs her fingernail into it and shovels some in it. She takes her finger out and sniffs the cocaine, the rush going up to her brain. She shudders and sighs in pleasure.

IVY: Much better. Now where were we?

DEREK: Right about here…

Derek roughly takes her and puts her on top of him.

Cut to the less-active-by-now party in the Alpha Zeta frat house. It is nearing midnight and clear that the crowd has begun to thin out. Drunk party guests are managing to find their way out of the house and to their cars. We see Brad emerge from a crowd of people, a face we haven’t seen for a while. Cell phone in hand, it is vibrating.

Brad quickly steps outside where he can hear. He opens his phone and answers.

BRAD ANDERSON: (straining to hear) Brad here. What’s up?

He listens to the person on the other end.

BRAD: (shocked) No way! By the hall tower?

He listens again, excited, but shocked. Nodding to himself, he hangs up the phone. Without hesitation he steps back inside the house and rushes up to the first group of kids he finds.

BRAD: Dudes, listen up! Car crash in the middle of campus! Things are burning and some serious sh-t is going down!

Mixed reactions ring out from the crowd. A kid dressed as a Spartan warrior jumps up on a chair and shouts out:

SPARTAN KID: (loudly) Yo! Some f-cked up sh-t is happenin’ at the tower on campus! Let’s go check it out! Everyone move, move!

With a drink in his hand, he starts towards the door, followed by some costumed college kids.

BRAD: (calling to them) Spread the word! We gotta get down there!

Brad runs further into the party, quickly spreading the news of this car crash.

Cut back to the freshman/sophomore house. Aiden walks off towards the kitchen, and Gabe follows. Aiden sees the smashed champagne bottle on the floor.

AIDEN: Oh, f-ck me.

Gabe continues farther into the large kitchen. He sees the glass door in pieces of shards.

AIDEN: (shouting, O.S.) What the f_uck? There’s glass and alcohol all over the floor and this place was strictly–

GABE: (yelling) Aiden, you better check this out! Everything’s a mess here, too.

Aiden looks over to Gabe. Sees him towering over the door, which Aiden also sees that is broken.

AIDEN: What?

Aiden makes his way over to Gabe.

GABE: What the hell happened here? We really need to get to the bottom of this. (then) I’m gonna call Mrs. Drew and tell her what’s up.

Gabe turns to leave, but Aiden swiftly grabs him by the robe, almost lifting him off the ground.

AIDEN: (low, harsh) No. Listen to me and listen good. We’re gonna go back to the house, drag Lloyd out of bed and get to the bottom of this ourselves. If there happens to be someone hurt or…well, you know -- it’s not getting outside of Alpha Zeta. We’ll handle this ourselves.

Gabe shoves Aiden off of him and walks out of the kitchen.

GABE: I make no promises.

Gabe disappears behind the doorway and is gone an instant. Aiden lingers for a second, eyes glued to the shattered glass door. He sighs deeply and then leaves the same way Gabe did.

Cut to the Alpha Zeta portico. People are pouring out, running down the street, singing, laughing and yelling together, and getting into their cars.

Gabe is confused as he approaches the house.

JENNY REED: (O.S.) Gabe!

He turns around to see Jenny jogging up.

GABE: Jenny, where have you been?

JENNY: Across the street, trying to check up on Angela.

She studies Gabe for a moment.

JENNY: Is something wrong? You look…tense.

GABE: (sighing angrily) I’ll tell you once we’re inside. What’s going on here?

Jenny turns to the crowd of people leaving.

JENNY: Not sure.

Aiden comes walking up behind them, purposely forcing his way in-between Jenny and Gabe. Jenny stumbles backwards, caught off guard.

JENNY: (feisty) Hey!

Aiden ignores her as he pushes his way through the crowd and finds Brad on the portico, putting on his jacket. Aiden grabs his jacket, halting him from putting it on.

AIDEN: Where do you think you’re going?

BRAD: Down to campus. There was a bad accident or something by the main hall tower. I’m gonna’ check it out.

Forcefully, Aiden pushes Brad back into the house. Gabe and Jenny exchange a quick glance and hurry inside after them.

AIDEN: You are not going anywhere. We have some business to attend to. Wait…

Aiden spins around, flustered and on the verge of a freak out. We realize there is almost no one left inside in the house, just a very, very messy home waiting to clean and dry up. Gabe and Jenny enter.

AIDEN: (furious) Did everyone leave to go see this f-cking accident?

BRAD: (thinking) Yeah. Most of them, I think.

Aiden gives him a hard shove.

AIDEN: Dumb-ass! We didn’t even do the pin ceremony yet! And your *beep* gossip made everyone run off! What the hell are we supposed to do now?

BRAD: (confounded) I don’t–

AIDEN: (cutting him off) It’s over. F-ckin’ thing’s ruined. Jeez, this party was a mess.

GABE: Aiden, I think we have another pressing matter at hand.

Aiden runs his hand across his hair in stress.

JENNY: (worried) What’s going on?

GABE: Lloyd said he saw something over at the freshman/sophomore house. We might have a dead pledge on our hands…

Brad’s mouth hangs open. Jenny tries to say something but she can’t. It takes her a moment to get something out.

JENNY: (softly) Dead?

Gabe just nods. Jenny bites her lip, wondering what could have happened.

AIDEN: I’m going to talk to Lloyd. Stay here.

Aiden trudges away, disappearing up the stairs. Gabe, Jenny and Brad stand in silence in the foyer. The silence persists until the front door opens and Ivy walks in, slightly laughing to herself. Due to the quietness, she stops laughing and surveys the three in front of her.

IVY: (snide) Why so somber? And what happened to the party?

A few kids from the backyard make their way past our remaining heroes and out the front door, drunk and giggling.

Ivy eyes Jenny hatefully, and Jenny looks back at her. Gabe senses this and breaks them apart from the staring contest.

Cut to the room where Lloyd was killed, as the door opens and Aiden checks inside. He looks around the filthy room. What a mess.

AIDEN: Lloyd!

Aiden’s POV: The bed we saw Lloyd in now has no sheets on it or a body. A flood of socks, underwear, shirts and all kinds of clothes are now lying where Lloyd’s sheet-covered body was earlier.

Cut back to downstairs. Nobody says a thing for another beat – until Ivy breaks the ice…

Cut back to Aiden, as Ivy’s voice is heard.

IVY: (O.S., from downstairs) Okay… Where’s Aiden?

Aiden makes a swift turn and leaves the room, shutting the door. The camera skims away from the door, smoothly across the floor and under the bed…

Where the blood-drenched white sheets with Lloyd’s body wrapped inside has been hidden. A puddle of blood just about to stream out from under the bed.

Cut back to the foyer, as Aiden comes down the stairs. He’s pissed off, and seeing Ivy doesn’t make him any happier.

AIDEN: Where the f-ck have you been?

Ivy laughs at him, shaking her head. Aiden rushes over to her, noticing something different about her. He looks her in the eyes, scaring her a bit.

And then he realizes…

AIDEN: Have you been doing f-cking cocaine?!

Ivy backs away from Aiden, now serious and slightly vulnerable. Aiden closes in on her.

Jenny puts a hand over her mouth in shock as she moves closer to Gabe, and he wraps his arm around her.

AIDEN: Well… (shouting) have you?!?

IVY: Yes! Okay? You’re not my f-ckin’ father, you know! (beat) Stop being such a f-cking baby about it.

Beep-Beep! as Brad’s phone goes off. Everyone look at him as he pulls it somewhere out of his robe and checks it. On the phone screen: “1 NEW MSG”

Brad hits “Open”, and a smile appears on his face. On the screen:

“From: Angela
AZ attic – want u now!”

JENNY: Who is it?

Brad puts the phone in his pants, pulls off the hooded robe and puts it on the end of the staircase handrail.

BRAD: (jolly) Angela. I gotta go.

He jogs up the stairs, but Jenny stops him.

JENNY: Wait! Angela? Where is she?

BRAD: She’s… Why do you care?

JENNY: Just tell me where she is.

On Aiden & Ivy. Aiden’s eyes locked on Ivy. She’s more sheepish as ever, but angry as hell.

AIDEN: I’m not done with you.

Brad rolls his eyes, sighing. Jenny crosses her arms and waits for an answer. Brad fakes a smile as he lies…

BRAD: She’s over at your house… waiting for me. I need to grab something from my room.

Brad turns and goes up the stairs, leaving the group. Just as Aiden storms through the house somewhere.

GABE: Hey, where are you going?!

Aiden doesn’t reply. We notice how everyone finds this fishy. Especially Jenny. She turns to Gabe.

JENNY: Can you come with me? To the house? I wanna make sure Angie’s okay.

IVY: Oh, please. The girl’s fine. She’s hooking up with Brad for the fifth time tonight, just leave her alone.

Beat. Ivy starts cropping herself, looking for something.

IVY: You guys seen my cell phone anywhere?

She gropes herself, trying to feel the phone… but she feels something else… something scratchy in her tight skirt pocket.

Ivy drags out the cut-out article we saw her take from the bathroom earlier.

IVY: Lookie here. I almost forgot about this.

Jenny makes her way over to Ivy, snatches the piece of paper and examines it. She reads it, and Gabe makes his way over to them.

GABE: What’s this?

JENNY: An article about a house fire… in this house. Five years ago.

GABE: Oh yeah… I remember that. They were renovating the part that burnt down when I was pledging.

IVY: Boring! I’m gonna go. I’ll see you later, Gabriel.

Ivy makes her way out the front door, and Jenny shoots her a cold gaze for an obvious reason. The door closes. Jenny hands the article to Gabe and he sticks it in his pocket.

JENNY: Come on, let’s go across the street and check on Angela.

Gabe nods and follows his girlfriend outside.

Cut to the attic. Brad slowly moves up the stairs, creeping himself out, but excited.

BRAD: (teasing) Angela… I’m comin’ to get ya.

He creeps up the stairs and looks from left to right…

Brad’s POV: The attic – plastic sheets hanging from the roof beams all over the place. It’s maze-like. The moonlight shining through the windows and the pool lights from below give the place an eerie, blue lighting.

BRAD: So you got the place all worked up. (laughs) I recharged myself after the last time, I hope you’re ready for some more.

Everything is deathly silent…

BRAD: Angela, are you even up here?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
XCindyLennoxFanAlwaysX, Brad has a LoD choice to make. What shall he do?

A) Stay where you are and keep calling for Angela
B) Take a look around. This cat and mouse game is kind of hot
C) Call her cell. Maybe that will give up her hiding spot but ruin the surprise
D) Go back and tell Jenny the truth. She’ll want to know where Angela is but you’ll miss your opportunity.

Scene 17 – Discovery Channel

(continued)

There’s no response from Angela up here. Brad sighs and turns to go back downstairs.

Suddenly, he stops on the top of the stairs and turns back around, a teasing smile forming on his face.

BRAD ANDERSON: Ahh… We’ve done this before. If you wanna play hide and seek, all you had to do was ask.

He takes out his phone and starts wandering around the attic.

BRAD: But you already knew I was always a little cheater.

Brad laughs and goes through his phonebook. He finds Angela’s number and hits “Dial”.

Just as he does, a figure behind some of the sheets crosses the attic, right behind Brad. Brad thinks he senses something and swings around…

But he finds no one. Suddenly…

A ringtone at the other end of the attic catches Brad’s attention. He smiles and follows the sound, pushing all the sheets aside that are blocking his way.

Cut to outside. Jenny and Gabe make their way across the street and to the sorority house.

GABE LIMON: You sure there’s no way in?

JENNY REED: Everything was locked before and no one is inside. Carol didn’t hear me. I literally knocked on the door like an idiot for 5 minutes—

Jenny stops dead in her tracks. She rolls her eyes, sighing, and realizing that…

JENNY: The garage. Of course!

Wide angle on: Jenny and Gabe going to the side of the house where the garage is. Gabe is laughing.

GABE: I knew you were my girlfriend for a reason.

JENNY: What, so you I could teach you where to sneak in at night?

Gabe grins

Cut back to the attic. Brad is close to the ringing and buzzing cell phone. But he can’t find it.

BRAD: Angela—

He stops as he finds Angela’s cell phone on the floor. He’s awfully close to one of the sheets, but there’s nothing behind it.

Brad bends down, picks it up, stands back up and exams the phone. And we realize that there’s a cloaked figure standing right behind the plastic sheet behind Brad!

BRAD: The hell are you?

Wham! as the hands of the figure dive at Brad and the rest of the figure’s body tackles Brad to the floor!

Brad screams as the plastic sheet wraps around his head. He tries to breathe but his mouth, like vacuuming, sucks the plastic into his mouth.

Brad sways his arms, punching wildly at the attacker.

BRAD: HELP!

The killer shoves Brad on the floor as he strangles him, the sheet over his head. Then, in a flash, the killer whips out the scythe from his robe and raises it above his head.

The killer buries the scythe into Brad’s chest, and Brad squalls, the extreme pain kicking in. His thick blood unleashes from his chest like water leaking from a waterbed, staining the plastic sheets wrapped around him.

BRAD: NO!

The killer withdraws the scythe and stabs it into Brad’s stomach. He repeats this 8 more times, as the camera starts reversing from the horrifying scenario. Stab. Slash. Stab. As the camera continues skimming away from this. On Brad’s final muffled, long scream, we smash cut to:

The sorority house, the garage. It’s almost pitch black in here. Jenny and Gabe cross the garage and to another door, passing by a wall lined and stuffed with all kinds of boxes and items put for storage; bikes, skis and ski poles, old VHS tapes, garden tools, a land mower, etc.

Cut to inside the sorority house, the hall. A door opens and Jenny and Gabe enter. The place is awfully quiet. We can just see that Jenny knows something’s wrong when she exams the place.

GABE: I can’t believe you never told me about this. (to self) The garage, of course!

Jenny chuckles and moves into the kitchen. She turns the light on and is greeted by an empty kitchen – with milk spilled all across the floor.

JENNY: Oh, man…

She turns and walks down the hall and into the foyer of the house, where she stops dead in her tracks. She puts a hand over her mouth when she sees…

Blood. On the floor. And a trail of blood up the staircase and to the second floor.

JENNY: Oh, God…

GABE: What?

Gabe comes into frame. He’s caught off guard when he sees the blood, too.

GABE: What happened?

Jenny wastes no time and runs up the stairs. Gabe tries to grab her to stop her, but she’s quick.

GABE: Hey! Where are you goin’??

JENNY: Call the police right now! Hurry!

GABE: Jenny, wait, don’t go up there alone!

JENNY: CALL THE COPS NOW!

And with that, Jenny disappears into the darkness. Gabe starts panicking, now completely sure what the hell is going on. He runs into the dining room and tries to find the house phone.

He can’t find it.

GABE: Sh-t!

Cut to the upstairs hallway. It’s dark and vacant. Jenny follows the blood trail, wasting no time. The trail stops by the bathroom door. Jenny stops for a beat, expecting the worst.

Cut to the bathroom, the door creaks open. Jenny stands in the doorway and pushes the door wide open.

Back to Gabe in the dining room. He doesn’t find the phone and runs out on the hall, to the living room doors and slides them open. He flips the light switch and the living room goes bright…

Gabe goes wide-eyed, putting a hand over his mouth.

Cut to the bathroom. Jenny is too scared to move into the bathroom. She knows to expect the worst.

JENNY: Please…

Jenny moves into the bathroom, slowly, following the blood trail to the showers…

Cut to the downstairs hall. The frame is still and steady on the hall. We can see into the kitchen. All of a sudden, Gabe backs into frame from left, hand over his mouth. He’s completely astonished.

We don’t see what he’s seeing.

Cut back to Jenny, moving into the showers. She walks toward one of the shower stalls where the blood trail leads her.

Jenny reaches the stall. The stall’s shower curtain is covering what we assume to be carnage. Jenny closes her eyes and puts her hand on the shower curtain…

She unseals the shower curtain. Opens her eyes that instantly go wide in horror!

JENNY: (screaming) NO! ANGELA!

In the shower is Angela’s blood-soaked, mutilated and stab-wounded corpse sitting against the tiled wall. The entire stall is drenched with blood. One may know what had been done to Angela after her murder.

JENNY: No-no-no-no!!!

Jenny backs away, almost collapsing to the floor. Tears start coming from her eyes like a waterfall. She stumbles out of the bathroom and onto the hallway, screaming for Gabe!

Cut to the downstairs hall. Gabe is in the middle of the hall, frozen by the sight he’s seeing.

Jenny comes running down the stairs, freaking out and crying. She runs up to Gabe.

JENNY: C’mon, we have to go! Angela’s—

She stops making contact to Gabe when she realizes that he’s acting strange, and that his eyes are locked on something in the living room.

JENNY: (shivering) What’re you…?

Jenny looks into the living room – clamming her hand against her mouth the second she sees…

In the living room, Carol’s bloody body is hanging on one of the curved arms of a crystal chandelier above the coffee table! The curved arm has been forced through her neck.

Jenny watches this, horrified. She grabs a hold of Gabe and runs for the front door.

JENNY: We gotta go!

Cut to outside of the sorority house. The front door swings open and Jenny and Gabe run out on and across the vacant street. There’s not a single person in sight.

JENNY: Hurry!

They bolt up to the Alpha Zeta house portico and storm inside.

The front door of the AZ house flies open. Jenny and Gabe rush inside and Gabe shuts the door.

Jenny is breathing heavily as she starts pacing back and forth. Gabe takes a beat to snap back to reality.

GABE: What the f-ck happened over there?

Jenny, fighting the tears, can’t handle it anymore and bursts into tears. She collapses in the middle of the foyer, and Gabe moves toward her and sits down with her.

JENNY: She’s dead. She’s dead, Gabe. Angela’s dead!

Gabe holds her in his arms, stroking her hair, as they sit on the floor. The house is deathly silent. Not a person to see or hear. Gabe, still in shock, looks into Jenny’s eyes.

GABE: I’m gonna find Aiden. You go up to my room, lock yourself inside and call the cops. My phone’s in one of my drawers. ‘Kay?

Jenny takes deep breaths, nodding. Gabe helps her to her feet and to the stairs.

GABE: Lock the door.

Jenny nods. Gabe takes and kisses her passionately, giving her hope that everything will be alright. They break the kiss. He dries Jenny’s eyes.

Then, Gabe leaves her, disappearing into the trashed house. Jenny takes a deep breath and goes upstairs.

Cut to the kitchen. Gabe steps inside and sees that it’s completely trashed. Beer cans, kegs, various types of alcohol bottles, empty and half-empty plastic cups and glasses, decorations, food – all over the floor, on tables, on chairs.

GABE: Jesus…

Cut to the upstairs hallway. Jenny moves down the hall, slowly heading toward Gabe’s room. She reaches the door, grabs the doorknob and opens the door.

Something rattling down the hallway catches Jenny’s attention. She looks up to see who’s there, but only spots a dark, hooded monk figure moving through one of the doors. Was that…

JENNY: Aiden?

The door almost closes, but stays ajar. Jenny moves down the hallway to the door. She reaches the door and opens it, poking her head inside.

It’s the way up to the attic.

Jenny’s POV: The stairs, like they’re pulling Jenny to come up to the attic.

Jenny slowly moves up the stairs…

Cut to Gabe. He’s still in the kitchen, but is looking into the living room. The place is a mess and the floor is almost black with dirt and trash. He doesn’t see Manny’s body in the corner, though.

GABE: Aiden? Brad?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ethan! Gabriel has a choice to make. He can’t find anyone. What’s his next status update?
A) Look for Aiden in his room.
B) Look for Aiden in the backyard.
C) Just continue yelling for Aiden and wander around the house.
D) Go to the housemother’s room and call the police, just in case.

With lack of options, Ethan gets 4 picks. Deal with it, he has 48 hours to make his choice.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Back with Jenny in the attic. She reaches the top of the stairs, greeted by the same eerie blue-lightened sheet-covered attic we were in before.

Jenny exams the place, hugging herself. She’s still shaking.

JENNY: Hello, anyone? Brad?

No response.

Jenny walks farther into the attic, passing through the sheets. Suddenly, the sound of someone stepping on a an old floor board startles Jenny. She jumps and spins around. There’s no one behind her.

Close on: Jenny’s face and torso. A dark figure suddenly pops up behind the sheet behind Jenny and dives at her, tackling her to the floor! It’s like Brad’s attack is repeating itself.

Jenny screams and tries to fight the killer off her!

JENNY: Let me go!!!

Jenny punches and kicks at the killer. But the killer is stronger and wraps the plastic sheet around her face, much like with Brad, and starts suffocating her.

Jenny continues struggling, gasping for air. Then, she kicks her knee at the killer and hits his shin hard. The killer moans in pain, but we can’t figure out if it’s a man or a woman. Jenny pushes the sheet off her and kicks at her attacker.

She stands up, dazed, and dashes forward. She doesn’t realize where the stairs are. The sheets are blocking her way and it seems like the eerie blue lightning is flashing like a strobe light.

The killer begins to recover.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kellie! It’s up to Jenny what she does. Only luck can save her.
A) Run left.
B) Run right.
C) Find something to fight the killer with, to make sure the f-cker’s down.
D) There’s a window near you. Run behind some sheets and climb out on the roof to escape.

Scene 18 – Square of Fire

Jenny stumbles away from the killer, pushing away the plastic sheets with her body. She whirls around, looking at all the boxes of old things. She throws herself at a stack of them. Boxes tip over and things spill everywhere. Jenny drops to her knees and searches frantically through the mess for a weapon.

Over her shoulder, she sees the killer back on his feet. He brandishes his scythe, making a ching! as it cuts through the air.

JENNY REED: (screaming in panic) Gabe!!! Please!

Jenny picks up various objects and throws them in the killer’s direction. Christmas ornaments, pens, old Christmas decorations, strings of light bulbs. Nothing potentially harmful.

The killer shrugs off every hit and stops in front of Jenny. She cowers in fear as he raises his scythe.

He moves to strike but Jenny lashes out her leg, kicking the killer in the ankle. Groaning, he staggers backwards. With a scream of desperation, Jenny jumps to her feet. She rips a plastic sheet off the ceiling and forces it over the hooded monk. The monk thrashes at her but Jenny quickly runs by him, blindly running toward the exit of the attic.

JENNY: (blood-curdling) Someone! There’s a killer!

Jenny continues running, but the sheets make confuse her where she is. She stops, finding herself by the roof, to realize where she is. No sound of the monk…

There is a tense beat. O.S., a swoosh! draws closer to Jenny, and she lurches to the side right before the scythe comes slashing past her and the razor-sharp tip sticks into the roof! Momentarily stuck in the splintered wood.

Breathing rapidly, but keeping control of herself, Jenny rotates and runs towards the other end of the attic.

Cut to the kitchen. Gabe glances around the empty, ruined household.

GABE LIMON: (calling) Aiden? Where you at, man?

He walks out of the kitchen, almost slipping on some spilled liquid. He recovers and walks into another room.

GABE: (still calling out) Brad? You down here? Come on, guys!

He is met by nothing but trash and empty bottles. He heads towards the foyer.

Smash cut back to Jenny. Frantically, she bounds past the knocked over boxes and towards the faint source of light at the other end of the attic. She swats plastic sheets away from her. She lets out another scream in desperation. Another tear comes down her face.

Jenny turns for a brief moment. The silhouetted outline of the killer is coming after her.

As Jenny whips her head around, she runs right into something. With a startled scream, it knocks her to the ground. Her eyes squeezed close tight on impact with the ground but she snaps them back open. Brad’s mutilated body falls from the folded up plastic sheets. Jenny’s piercing scream shatters the air.

Hands grab her around the waist and force her to her feet. Jenny continues screaming and thrashing. She claws into plastic sheets and tries to fighting her way free, stomping her feet and throwing back her elbows. The killer lifts her off the ground and begins walking forward.

Cut back to Gabe.

He skids into the foyer and spots a house phone sitting on the small table there. He snatches it up and brings it to his ear. Quickly, he dials 911.

The phone does nothing. Gabe glances at the receiver and realizes the line’s been cut.

GABE: Sh-t!

He throws the phone down and looks around. The front door is ajar. But that’s the least of his worries. Gabe dashes up the stairs.

Cut to Jenny. She swings her body back and forth but she can’t get out of the killer’s grasp. She realizes, as the filtered blue light grows stronger, that the killer is moving her towards the window. His grip around her tightens.

JENNY: (high-pitched) No! No! Let me go!

Plastic sheets keep hitting her face as she screams. They finally move past them. Jenny can see clearly out the window now: The pool, eerie spotlights shining down on it. All the trash and empty bottles everywhere. The lack of people.

Jenny screams again and plants her feet against the wall. The killer suddenly drops her to the floor. She slams her head against it hard.

Groaning, Jenny tries to get up. The scythe comes swinging in, slashing her across the chest. She whimpers as the killer picks her up…

Cut to the upstairs hallway. Now quiet (Jenny is not fighting the killer anymore), Gabe is frantically searching for someone upstairs. He rushes to Aiden’s room and opens the door. It’s completely vacant. He takes off again and reaches Brad’s room; empty as well.

Gabe vents a frustrated, and worried sigh. He runs down the dim hallway again and he passes a room. But then he stops and double takes. It’s his room. And Jenny’s not in it. He runs inside.

GABE: (worried) Jenny?!

Anxiously, he checks under the bed and in the closet. No sign of her. His heart is racing. Where is everyone? Paranoia is getting to him.

GABE: Jenny?!

We see the backyard of the Alpha Zeta house from an outside view. Everything is quiet and vacant; only the sound of the night. Suddenly, something above us shatters.

The camera cuts to the roof and follows Jenny crashing through the window, falling out as glass explodes everywhere.

Everything goes slow motion now. Jenny’s body hits and rolls down the roof, glass shards pattering around her, taking forever to ting and break. There’s blood on her head, hands and chest.

Cut to Gabe. He spins around, hearing the crash. He’s alarmed by Jenny’s blood-curdling, and in slow motion -- drifting scream…

Cut back to the backyard. Jenny plummets off the edge of the roof and her scream is cut short when she falls into the pool with a large splash. She begins to sink to the bottom.

Cut to the upstairs hallway, as Gabe sprints toward the stairs. As he reaches the stairs, the attic door bursts open and our killer runs down the hallway and toward the other staircase (the one that goes down to the kitchen)…

Cut to Jenny in the pool. Everything is normal now. Jenny’s floating face down on the surface of the pool. Glass and dissolving blood floats around her also.

Jenny’s POV: Eyes snap open. Everything’s disorted, watery and blue.

Jenny snaps her head above the water, coughing and sputtering. She gasps for air, putting a hand to her head to feel around. Some glass had cut into here there, blood is on her fingertips.

Cut to the living/grand room where the dance floor was raging earlier. We see Gabe bolting through the foyer, across the hall and into the messy grand room. He see’s Jenny in the pool.

GABE: Thank God, Jenny…

He rushes toward the glass doors, but his face suddenly meets the butt of the scythe! The monk smacks Gabe’s face with the shaft, knocking him to the floor, almost knocking him out.

Gabe groans, lying on the floor. Blood pours from his nose and a bruise is forming on his forehead.

Back to the pool. Jenny hears the commotions from house and sees the monk towering over Gabe.

JENNY: No! Gabe!

The monk looks up from Gabe and to the pool. Jenny, beaten and tired, puts up the most frightful face, and starts swimming for the concrete.

The monk comes out of the glass doors and moves to the pool. Meanwhile, Jenny is in close to reaching the ladder. But the monk appears out of nowhere and slashes at her, missing her by inches!

Jenny screams and moves in time. She swims for the other side of the pool. The monk follows. She’s trapped.

The monk suddenly stops by the barbecue grill. He gets an idea. He grabs a gas tank lying next to the barbecue.

In the pool, Jenny is in the middle. She continues to the side.

The monk grabs one of the bamboo torches in the yard. He looks over at Jenny who is close to reaching the concrete side. He moves toward her and swings the torch at her! Jenny, again, ducks just in time.

She begins swimming for another side, but the monk follows her, pouring gasoline into the pool, forming a trail. Jenny is swimming in circles, and the monk follows. The monk finally reaches a full circle around Jenny. She stops in the middle to gasp for air.

Then, the monk gently shows Jenny the torch as he touches the tip of the it against the pool of gas on top of the water.

Fire quickly lights and spreads across the water. Jenny shrieks and kicks off the side of the pool as the fire roars past her. It surrounds the outside of the pool and starts to close in on her.

The killer continues pouring gas into the pool.

Jenny lets out a deadly scream as the blaze grows around her. She is forced to dive under as the fire almost touches her.

Jenny swims to the bottom of the pool. Everything is quiet under here. A lone bubble escapes from her mouth. Looking up, she sees a warped perception of the fire burning the surface of the water. She looks around rapidly for a way to get out. Everything is covered in flame.

Inside, Gabe rubs his head as he sits up. The light of the flames from the pool dance on his face and catch his attention. He jacks up and sprints out into the backyard, greeted by the raging fire.

GABE: (exclaiming) Holy sh-t! JENNY!?

On the killer, as he backs up, spreading gas all over the area around the pool. He begins to back up into the house.

In the b.g., Gabe appears with an empty champagne bottle in his hand.

He sees the cloaked figure spreading gas. He is shocked for a second but then takes action. He sprints forward and before the killer can even turn around, he smashes the empty bottle over his head. It breaks into large pieces as the killer collapses.

Breathing hard, Gabe looks down on the killer. He has a fleeting sense of curiosity, who’s been doing all this?

The blazing fire catches his attention as he looks back up.

GABE: (realizing) Jenny! Hold on!

He runs towards the pool but doesn’t know how to go about it. The fire is continuing to blaze and grow stronger. He can feel the heat coming off, he isn’t sure what to do.

GABE: (shouting in desperation) Jenny! Jenny!

He gets as close to the pool as he can and looks down. There is someone floating at the bottom.

Jenny’s cheeks are puffed and her face is drained of color. Unable to hold her breath any longer, she kicks her way to the surface.

Jenny breaks above the water and the fire immediately sears her wet skin. She screams in pain as the fire licks at her, despite the moisture. She takes in a deep breath and sinks back into the water.

GABE: (panicked) Oh f-ck…sh-t…Jenny!

He rolls up his sleeves and without another thought, he dives into the pool. He falls through the fire but enters the water before it can hurt him. Jenny is floating, barely conscious. Gabe swims down and scoops her into his arms. He kicks off the concrete bottom and surfaces. As fast as he can manage, he hauls himself out of the water, past the fire and then drags Jenny out.

The two collapse onto the brick. Gabe holds his arms where the fire had burnt him. Water drops from his face and hair. Both of their skins are dark and dirty from the fire -- especially Jenny’s.

GABE: Jenny, get up. Jenny, can you hear me?

He shakes her gently. She begins to cough and roll back and forth. Her eyes begin to open and she begins screaming her head off.

GABE: Jenny, shush! It’s me! You’re alright.

She calms down and looks Gabe in the eye. She throws herself onto him.

JENNY: (sobbing) Oh thank God, Gabe!

GABE: Don’t worry, you’re fine now. Come on, let’s go inside and get help.

Gabe helps Jenny to her feet. Supporting her, the two begin to job back towards the house. Gabe notices the killer is gone.

GABE: (softly) Sh-t, where is he?

JENNY: (distraught) What?

GABE: …come on.

The two walk inside and almost slip on the hardwood floor. It is slick from the water dripping down. They head towards the front door when suddenly, Ivy comes running around the corner on the hall, somewhat guilty for something. She is scratching the back of her head as if it was bothering her.

IVY DESTEFANO: Finally, I find people!

She studies Gabe and Jenny. They’re wet, bleeding, bruised.

IVY: Night hasn’t been good to you two, has it? (sees the pool ablaze through the glass doors) The f-ck, what happened to the pool? Did you guys go in and out of hell two minutes ago?!?

GABE: Ivy, just shut your f-ckin’ trap!

Gabe and Jenny shove past her.

IVY: Uhh, excuse me?

She is about to follow them when she looks back at the backyard. Her eyes go wide as the reflecting flames dance on her face. She jogs to catch up with Gabe and Jenny.

IVY: Why is the backyard up in flames?

GABE: (uproar) Ivy, shut the hell up! People are dead! There’s a killer somewhere! Stop being a dimwitted bitch, get off your ass, and do something to help us!

She stops in her tracks. Not sure how to process it all.

JENNY: (weakly) Do you have your cell on you?

Ivy feels around her person.

IVY: (stuttering) N-n-no, I can’t find it.

GABE: Find it and call someone. Campus security, the police, I don’t give a sh-t, just someone! We need help.

IVY: Okay… But where’s Aiden--

GABE: Just hurry!

Ivy takes off and disappears into the house. Gabe and Jenny keep moving towards the front door. Jenny suddenly slips and hits the floor. A few tears come down her face.

JENNY: (pained) My body…I can’t go any….I can’t do it.

GABE: Jenny, hold on! Just a little further, we have to get out of the house.

He looks behind him and sees the flames are starting to catch onto the terrace. He looks ahead and sees the foyer. He begins to help Jenny up.

GABE: Stay with me here.

JENNY: (distantly) Gabe…

Suddenly, two hands grab Gabe and rip him away from Jenny. Jenny falls to the floor as Gabe is slammed into a wall. He turns around and catches the killer’s wrists, preventing the scythe from cutting into him.

GABE: Jenny, run!

Jenny staggers to her feet but slips on the water. She hits the floor again.

Gabe slams his knee up and hits the monk in the stomach. He shoves him off and tires to run to Jenny. The monk grabs him by the back of the robe, tearing a part of it, and forces him backwards. Gabe falls into him and the two sprawl to the floor. Gabe throws back an elbow and claws himself to his feet. He spots the scythe lying on the ground!

The killer lunges for it but Gabe quickly steps to it and kicks it away. It goes sliding far away. The monk reacts quickly, swinging his legs around and flooring Gabe. He hits the hardwood floor with a thud. The hooded monk grabs him by the hair and smashes his head against the floor with brute force. Then he does it two more times! He lets go, leaving Gabe barely conscious. His hand moves up to the back of his head.

The killer stands up and delivers a swift knee-kick to Gabe’s stomach. The air escapes from him as he curls up into a ball on the floor. Then, the killer searches the area for his scythe but footsteps coming towards him distracts him.

He turns to see Jenny charging towards him, bottle of vodka in hands. She weakly swings it at him but the killer easily grabs her arms. He reels back and slams his head against hers. Jenny drops the bottle and it shatters on the floor, splashing vodka everywhere. The killer shoves Jenny violent and she trips to the ground. Her body aches in pain.

The monk bends over her and grabs her by the throat, lifting to her feet. Then, he slyly spots something out of the corner of his eye. Jenny faintly tries to fight the hands off but her energy is fading fast. Her feet drag across the floor as the killer begins to pull her into the lounge.

He stops by an Alpha Zeta flag pole, sticking out of a gap of a chair against the wall (that some people have propped up), and stands Jenny up. He punches her in the stomach and she lurches forward. The killer grabs her roughly by the hair and forces her head up. He pulls her close to his face.

KILLER: (whispering) Delta Pi forever, right?

Jenny’s eyes widen as she looks underneath the hood to see the killer’s identity.

On Gabe, as he manages to get to his feet and open one bruised eye.

On Jenny & the monk. Jenny doesn’t know what to say. She shakes her head no.

JENNY: Don’t…

Then monk thrusts her back! Jenny falls backwards through the air. The sharp end of the flagpole pierces through her chest, blood drenching all over her jersey and the floor.

Jenny wails in pain!

GABE: (thunderous) NOOOOO!!!

Gabe stumbles toward the killer but the killer swiftly turns and elbows him right in the jaw! Gabe falls against the table. He slides to the ground, dazed and dizzy.

Jenny coughs blood, still alive. It bubbles down her chin and runs down her neck and onto her shirt. She grabs the jagged metal sticking out of her chest. She inhales erratically.

The killer approaches and watches her bleed. Jenny freezes, feeling her warm blood between her fingers and knowing what was next.

The killer gives Jenny’s body a heavy push down, making the pole jut even further out her chest. Her head bounces from the sudden thrust but then comes to a stop. Her hands fall away from the pole and dangle in the air.

Close on: a drop of blood dripping off her bloody finger tip.

The killer backs up and looks on at the victim. Jenny is dead. Then, he swiftly swings around, only to face the fact that Gabe is gone!

Cut to the kitchen. The doors separating the hall and the kitchen are closed. Ivy crosses the kitchen and into the other hall, facing the laundry room. It’s dark and vacant.

IVY: Aiden?

No response, only silence. She hears some rumbling from somewhere in the house and turns around. She listens… but shakes it off and turns back around and approaches the door to the garage.

Cut to the garage. The door opens and the silhouette of Ivy steps inside, scanning the garage.

IVY: Aiden?!?

She flips the light switch on and the lights flicker on. The garage is vacant. Ivy closes the door and turns around…

Jumping back as a hooded figure snatches her, covering her mouth, and starts dragging her toward the laundry room!

Ivy, her screams muffled by the hand, blindly kicks and sways her arms as the monk drags her into the laundry and shuts the door! The hooded monk lets her go and thrusts her against the door, making a thud!

The hood comes off. It’s Aiden. Ivy’s caught off guard.

IVY: What the f-ck are you--

AIDEN: Shhh! (beat) Where’s Gabe?

IVY: Gabe? I don’t know.

AIDEN: We have to find him. Now.

Ivy blankly stares into Aiden’s eyes. Why does he need Gabe so much?

IVY: Aiden what’s going on? Someone made the backyard the front door to Lucifer’s crib. Jenny was all messed up and--

AIDEN: Jenny. Where is she?

IVY: Dead? I don’t know! She’s with Gabe somewhere.

Aiden lets Ivy go and turns the other way, frustrated and… scared. He’s guilty as hell of something.

IVY: Why are we still here? Why don’t we just get outta here before the roof caves in or some sh-t?

AIDEN: I can’t, I need to find Gabe.

IVY: Jesus Christ, Aiden! Why the…

Ivy suddenly freezes. She glances at Aiden’s monk robe. Sees blood on it.

Speeders! Ivy has a real important choice to make. Will she…
A) Tell Aiden that you’re getting out of here through the garage, it’s up to him if he wants to join her.
B) The blood on his robe is enough to explain everything; bolt out of the laundry and out of the house.
C) Quickly get out of the laundry, grab the fire extinguisher on the small hall and knock Aiden out.
D) Talk him through into not killing you, if you’re positive that he’s the killer. You’re manipulative enough.

You have 48 Hours to make your choice.

Scene 19 – The Alpha Male Massacre

Ivy takes a deep silent breath as she stares Aiden’s robe. She backs away towards the door. Aiden notices this and looks her in the eyes. Ivy looks back, a little afraid.

AIDEN JENNINGS: (impatient) What?

Ivy shakes her head, lying into his face.

IVY DESTEFANO: Nothing.

AIDEN: What’s wrong with you?

She doesn’t answer. Beat. Suddenly, Ivy spins around, swings the door open and bolts out in the small hall. Aiden chases her, yelling.

AIDEN: IVY!!!

In the hall, Ivy snatches a fire extinguisher that sits on the wall, and as Aiden runs out of the laundry, Ivy sprays it at him -- blinding him.

The entire hall billows with white mist. Ivy gets a glimpse of Aiden’s face through the mist and smacks him in the face with the fire extinguisher! Aiden screams out in pain, his nose badly broken. He groans as he lies on the floor.

AIDEN: You f-ckin’ bitch!

Ivy uses her chance to run out of the small hall and into the kitchen. Some of the mist billows into the kitchen around her feet, following her. Ivy pauses to look around for any danger. Then, she crosses the kitchen and runs out on the main hall.

The sound of Aiden trashing around and cursing from the other hall muffles through the walls.

IVY: F-ck.

She stops at a door and tries it. It’s unlocked and Ivy runs inside, finding herself inside what used to be a butler’s pantry. In the small pantry is another door. Ivy runs through the door, ending up in the dining room…

She shuts the door and feels for a lock, but only feels the doorknob. In a hurry, she turns around and runs across the dining room, but stops midway through and jumps back.

Ivy’s POV: slightly shaky cam – Jenny’s bloody corpse impaled through the flag pole in the chair.

Ivy backs up against the wall and clams her mouth, disgusted, but not as horrified.

IVY: Jenny… damnit…

She shivers for a beat. Then, something rumbling out on the main hall startles her. Aiden’s close.

Ivy bolts out of the dining room and into the foyer. She runs straight for the front door and slams her body against it. She feels for the knob, but feels nothing! She looks down on the doorknob, only to realize that…

The doorknob and the lock have been taken off. She’s trapped.

IVY: F-CK! F-ck, goddamnnit!!!

Cut to the backyard, the terrace. The flames from the pool and the cement ground are licking on the wooden terrace, setting it on fire on more places. It starts spreading quickly because of all the alcohol spilled across it. Flaming wood falls to the ground

Cut to the dining room. Aiden comes through the door and crosses the room, calmly. He passes Jenny’s body, and as he continues walking he takes a glimpse at her, not showing any response except vengeance in his eyes. We all know it has nothing to do with Jenny.

Back to Ivy in the foyer. She bangs rapidly on the door, desperate to get out. She stops and angrily groans, more than pissed off.

Ivy rushes away from the door, but suddenly stops in the middle of the foyer when she sees Aiden in the doorway of the dining room. His nose is bent and broken, blood still pouring from it. His face is overall a complete train wreck.

Ivy eyes him hatefully. Then, she suddenly starts running across the foyer, through the main hall and into the grand living room toward the doors. She stops in front of the glass doors as she notices that the flames are growing right before her eyes.

Aiden slowly approaches her from the foyer.

AIDEN: Baby… why are you doing this to me? Thought we had an agreement.

Ivy turns around and sees him coming.

AIDEN: But I guess crack whores like you aren’t destined to be with a guy like me. Ever.

IVY: So whaddaya gonna do, huh? Kill me, like you did Jenny? ‘Suppose you cut up Angela too?

AIDEN: (laughs, dazed) Kill Jenny? Angela? The hell are you talking about?

IVY: I’m not stupid, you idiot. You’re drenched in blood for f-ck’s sake.

AIDEN: Yeah… I may or may not have come across a few corpses here and there. (beat) But after you broke my f-cking face… yeah… I might consider killing the sh-t outta you.

IVY: You’re such a sh-t.

He slowly starts lunging at her, growing his speed.

AIDEN: Takes one to know one.

Ivy is trapped, the growing flames cutting off her exit. She eyes Aiden as he quickens towards her.

Aiden shouts out and grabs at Ivy. She ducks just in time and dives out the way. She scrambles to her feet and tears off.

IVY: You f-cking psycho!

AIDEN: I may be a psycho, but I’m not a killer, Ivy!

Aiden chases after her.

Ivy crosses back through the main hall and towards the foyer. It dawns on her again that she can’t get out the front door. Aiden is hot on her trail. Ivy turns and runs up the staircase. She shrieks as Aiden draws closer.

Upstairs by the corner of the stairs, the camera is tight on the bloody scythe that slowly moves up, ready to strike. Footsteps are stomping up towards us. The scythe is clutched tight by a bloody hand.

On Ivy. She runs up the stairs, followed by Aiden.

Back behind the corner, the figure revealed to be Gabe! He hears Ivy’s panting screams.

GABE LIMON: (slowly) Ivy…?

Ivy suddenly appears around the corner, scared and screaming for help. She doesn’t even see Gabe as she speeds by him. Gabe presses himself against the wall, prepares to wield the scythe…

On Aiden. He runs up the stairs, and the camera follows. Aiden reaches the top…

Just when a mad Gabe screams out as he barrels around the corner and rams the scythe into Aiden’s chest! He leaves it embedded in Aiden, who has a deathly shocking glare at Gabe.

Ivy is backed up against a wall as she watches the commotions.

Gabe, blinded by revenge, grabs the hooded monk and hurls it over to the banister. Then, he violently thrusts Aiden against the banister, breaking it…

Everything goes into slow motion as the Aiden crashes through the wooden banister -- free-falls down through the air. The hood goes over his head and we see Aiden stunned face; a look of shock and pain upon his face as he falls.

Things quicken to normal pace as Aiden turns in the air and slams down to the ground, face down, in the foyer with a loud thud!. The handle of the scythe is forced deeper into his chest, piercing through his body and out of his back. Blood splashes over the back of his robe.

Breathing heavily, Gabe stands on the second floor for a beat. He moves to the busted part of the banister and stares down at Aiden. He doesn’t process what is happening yet.

IVY: (O.S., softly) Is he dead?

Gabe turns and sees Ivy closing in on him from the shadows. He just blinks. Ivy slowly comes out of hiding and stands next to Gabe. They both look down at Aiden. He moves slightly.

Aiden’s POV: things are blurry and out of focus. Out of the corner of his eye, he sees another hooded figure appear.

Aiden tries to say something but it only comes out in a pained grunt. Some blood leaks from his mouth. The hooded monk starts toward him.

Gabe and Ivy are caught off guard as another person enters their POV frame and approaches Aiden. Both are silent, can’t move.

The real killer kicks Aiden over so he is lying on his back. He’s barely holding on, the scythe deep in his chest. His breaths come in short and jagged. The monk leans down and violently rips the scythe out of Aiden’s chest!

Upstairs, Ivy gasps. Gabe’s mouth drops open in horror upon the realization.

He had just killed his innocent brother…

The monk towers over the dying Aiden. Aiden looks up and see who it is from under the hood.

AIDEN: (struggling) You… no…

The monk raises the scythe up, slashing through the air, and swiftly brings it down, stabbing Aiden in the chest! He recoils as blood splashes over his face. The killer pulls it out, raises it again and repeats.

Ivy lets out a scream as the monk stabs Aiden over and over and over again.

IVY: Aiden!!!

Blood goes everywhere as the monk continues. Aiden’s eyes roll back and his hand falls limp but the stabbing doesn’t stop.

Grunting is heard as the monk stabs Aiden everywhere and anywhere he can.

Finally, after well over 20 stabbings, the monk pauses and catches his breath. Aiden’s mutilated and bloody body lays at his feet.

Ivy falls against the wall, about to break down.

Gabe just continues to look on in horror. His stomach begins to churn. Like a car crash, he can’t look away…What has he done?

The killer cranes his head to stare at Gabe. The two meet eyes even through Gabe cannot see who it is under the hood. They are both breathing heavy.

The killer slowly reaches up for his hood. He grabs it and pulls it off, revealing his face.

Gabe’s face goes even whiter than it was before. His mind races as he tries to comprehend what is happening.

Trevor, drenched in blood and gripping the scythe, glares at Gabe. Gabe glares back but the fear is noticeable on his face. From the foyer and the second floor, everything is silent.

Suddenly, Trevor… smiles at Gabe. A warm smile of a psychopath.

The tension builds. Ivy suddenly pulls at Gabe’s arm.

IVY: Let’s go, get the f-ck out of here!

Gabe doesn’t really budge, shell shocked beyond belief, but Ivy continues to pull on him.

IVY: Come on!

He slowly begins to move his feet, not breaking gaze with Trevor. Ivy drags him around the corner and down the hallway when he finally snaps out of it.

IVY: (half-screaming) What the f-ck are we going to do? That psycho pledge is the one doing this! He just butchered Aiden! (then; sotto) Jenny…

Ivy is frantic and panting. Gabe just stares at her. He shakes his head, unsure.

IVY: Well, we better think fast. I don’t wanna end up a filleted house bunny!

Gabe looks around. His mind draws a blank.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s almost time for the final show down. What are Ivy and Gabe to do?

A) Go into one of the rooms and jump out the window, after you saw what was done to Aiden you don’t stand a chance against this guy.
B) Go down the kitchen stairs, through the kitchen and the laundry hallway, and get out through the garage.
C) Wait for him to come up and get you. Both of the people you loved/hated/killed are dead. What’s the point in living, it’s over.
D) Go down to the kitchen, down and through the basement, and out to the sideyard—the only place that’s not on fire?
E) Fight the f-cker to the finish. Have him chase you downstairs and raise some hell. He’s killed both of your spouses and it’s already more than personal.

You have 48 Hours to make your final choice. These choices will decide whether or not Ivy or Gabe will live. Keep in mind that You Do Not Have To Make The Same Choices. If both pick the same letter, their results can be different from each other

In the foyer, Trevor looks down at Aiden’s body. Then, he starts for the stairs.

End Scene 19 – The Alpha Male Massacre

Scene 20 - Fighting Fire with Fire

Gabe suddenly grabs Ivy’s hand.

GABE LIMON: Downstairs, c’mon.

IVY DESTEFANO: (sarcastic) No, I was thinking we stick around up here and wait till we either get cut to pieces or burn to crisps. (loudly, startling) Of we course we go downstairs!

Gabe yanks Ivy with him down the hallway and down the kitchen stairs. They disappear past a corner, just when Trevor appears up the main staircase. He passes the broken banister, stalking after them with a grin on his face.

Cut to the kitchen as Gabe and Ivy run into the frame. Thick brown smoke leaking into the room. Ivy immediately begins to hack.

IVY: (exclaiming) Smells like some serious weed in here.

Gabe just reaches over and grabs her arm again, leading her into the laundry hallway. There’s some small remnants of the fire extinguisher that Ivy had used on Aiden. The smoke is less present here.

Gabe suddenly takes her by the shoulders. His face is dead serious, as it should be.

GABE LIMON: Go outside through the garage.

IVY: You know, we were heading towards the garage and I already put two and two together. Why are we still standing here?

GABE: You’re going. I’m not.

Ivy glares at Gabe.

IVY: And why are you staying here? Have a death wish?

GABE: I don’t think he wants you, he wants me. Think about it…he’s in the monk robe and I’m pretty sure he’s been killing more people than Aiden. (beat) Just get out, you don’t have any reason to be here.

IVY: (outraged) No reason, Gabe? So why did he kill Angela?! (beat) Jenny?

Gabe winces at the name.

IVY: I’m not leaving. I wanna take this f-cker down, he killed them all!

GABE: Ivy, listen to me. You need to get help. If I can hold him off long enough, the police will come and take care of him.

Gabe lightly pushes Ivy towards the small laundry hallway. She stutters in argument.

IVY: (giving up) Okay, fine! But if you’re dead when I come back, I’ll kick your ass!

Gabe just nods solemnly. Ivy jogs away from him.

Beat. Gabe returns to the kitchen and walks to the hall. He walks to the foyer doorway, spotting Aiden’s body nearby.

TREVOR VANDERBILT: (O.S.) Are you enjoying the fire, Gabe?

Gabe whirls around. Trevor stands across the way from him, staring him down. There is silence at first, only the crackling of fire in the b.g..

TREVOR: My brother sure didn’t.

Gabe’s eyes go wide. He appears to realize…

GABE: (whispering) Vanderbilt…

Cut to outside the garage as Ivy slips underneath a garage door. She takes a deep breath of clean air before she runs straight out on the street. She runs at a lone male student walking, talking on his cell.

STUDENT: (into the phone) …not sure. A lot of people are down by the hall tower because--

He’s cut short when Ivy swoops in and snatches his cell phone. She holds it to her face.

IVY: Bigger matters to attend to!

Ivy hangs up on the person.

STUDENT: Ivy! The hell are you doing? Give me my phone.

Ivy glances up at the guy, blankly.

IVY: Can it, Vance.

Vance grabs at Ivy and rips his phone back out of her hands.

IVY: You dick! Gimme that back.

Ivy slaps at his hands but Vance turns and protects his phone.

IVY: (shouting) I’ll kill you myself before that psycho does! Give me the phone!

She violently steals the cell phone back.

VANCE: Psycho…?

IVY: (face on the cell) Take a big, long gander at the A.Z. house for a second. It’ll come to ya.

As Ivy dials 911, Vance complies and glances over to the frat house. Thick billows of black smoke rise into the sky from behind the house.

VANCE: Is that fire?!

Ivy, cell against her ear, gasps back:

IVY: No, it’s magic fairy dust. Yes, it’s fire, dumbass. And there’s a psychotic killer in there who started that fire.

When suddenly…

OPERATOR: (V.O.) 911, what’s your emergency?

IVY: Yes! I need a sh-tload of fire trucks, police men and coroners to the Alpha Zeta house on Fraternity Lane in Bay College, now!!! The house is on fire and there’s a f-ckin’ psychopath killing everyone!!!!

Vance steps away from Ivy, glancing at the house.

VANCE: (muttering) And to think I was going to this party…

Cut back to the A.Z. house, the main hall. Gabe and Trevor continue standing off, a distance between them.

GABE: (stuttering) But you…you were dead! Lloyd saw you get killed. How did--?

His voice fades off. Trevor smiles.

TREVOR: It’s not that hard to fool someone who’s wasted. Some fake blood and a broken window can do the trick.

Flash cuts to: The freshman/sophomore house, Trevor’s “death” scene, as remembered.

From Lloyd’s POV: He sees the blood splash across the window, followed by Trevor trying to claw at the window. It streaks down the window, and Lloyd freaks.

We go inside the room where the camera focuses on the hooded monk Lloyd saw. It turns out to be someone’s monk robe put over a coat hanger (the one Trevor found in the attic), poised like an actual person.

On Trevor lying below the window. Lloyd tears off to the house. Trevor rises to his feet, watches him go.

Present time.

GABE: But why? Why are you doing this?

TREVOR: I don’t know if I’m right, but check your pocket. Might help you solve the puzzle.

Gabe shoves his hands in his pockets. Draws out the newspaper clipping he got from Ivy. Skimming it, he seems to realize…

GABE: (quietly) The fire…

TREVOR: …five years ago. Major damage to the house, some renovations fixed that up real nice though. I certainly wasn’t responsible for that like my work in the pool. Maybe it was my brother’s ghost, who knows?

GABE: Your brother…?

Gabe shakes his head but a sinking feeling in his stomach tells him he already knows the answer to his own question.

TREVOR: (low, menacing) My brother’s death. Eight years ago, in this house. The second fire five years ago really irked me, you know. (enraged) He was the only causality, Gabe. All because your brother and his friends couldn’t handle themselves at a party. I know what happened. They tried to lie, but I dug my nails into their secret. They thought it would be funny to invade my brother’s room when he was with his girlfriend.

Flash cuts to: Trevor’s brother’s room, as it happened. The room is lit romantically with candles on some places, including the nightstand. He’s making out with his girlfriend on the bed -- when suddenly, a flock of fraternity guys break inside, spilling alcohol on them and the bed.

They’re in various states of intoxication, laughing and shouting out as they pour liquor on the floor, spraying beer and vodka everywhere.

TREVOR: (V.O.) Things got outta hand. They went a little too far.

Trevor’s brother, furious, jumps off the bed and shoves the front-and-center alpha male, Alex (Aiden’s brother), against the wall. Alex’s body hits some of the candles that hit the floor, creating flames as it spreads across the alcohol-wet floor.

TREVOR: (V.O.) It started out innocent until the fire broke out…

Alex moves away just in time to his group that stands in the door, as fire starts spreading through the room and lighting everything up.

TREVOR: (V.O.) It ravaged one section of the house. Everyone else got out. Except the two of them.

Some of the fire licks onto Trevor’s brother’s legs, and he screams out in pain, backing up against the bed that’s catching on fire! His girlfriend screams.

The brothers in the doorway watch their brother burn alive.

ALEX: (distant) Somebody call 911!!!

The guys run out on the hallway, as Trevor’s brother and his girlfriend roast inside the room, trapped by the growing flames. Their screams echo through the walls and halls of the house.

Snap back to present time. Trevor has a blank stare at Gabe who takes all this in.

TREVOR: He burned to death. No chance to get out. (beat) He didn’t deserve that.

GABE: Trevor, I’m sorry for your loss but that’s no reason to be killing people! They have grief counselors for this kind of sh-t-- (enraged) We weren’t even in Alpha Zeta eight years ago!!!

TREVOR: No! But your blood was already attached to the case to begin with. All of you were. Your brothers killed him! I figured if those other f-ckers can kill my brother and get away with it, then I might as well kill theirs. Which includes you, Gabe. (then) And the fire, that’s just an ironic, artistic touch. I’m bringing everything full circle here!

Gabe coughs because of the smoke filling up the ground floor.

TREVOR: And in case you’re wondering why the smoke alarms don’t go off… I took care of ‘em.

GABE: Oh, Jesus-- It was an accident! I’m sorry for your loss but no one meant to kill your brother!

TREVOR: Does it look like I care if it was an accident? Your sympathy means nothing to me. He’s still dead and he’s not coming back. An eye for an eye, Gabe. It makes perfect sense.

GABE: (trying to reason) Then why tonight? Why wait all this time?

Trevor laughs, as Gabe sneakily searches around for something…

TREVOR: Well, there’s a method to my madness here. You see, all the big wings of Alpha Zeta at the time of the fire now have their little brothers in this house. Well, not Shane. He was just a little fag who pissed me off.

Gabe just glowers. The room growing hotter as the flames encroach on more of the house.

TREVOR: But all the rest of them… Stewart, Nolan and Manny… Lloyd. Brad and Aiden.

Gabe shakes his head “no”, can’t believe the names he’s hearing are dead.

TREVOR: Their brothers ran the show around this place, including yours. Aiden’s was the mastermind behind all this, a real prank planner. (sighs) Aiden deserved the worst. It felt good hacking the sh-t outta him. (beat) And last but not least…you. Gabe. I’m sure you know who your brother was. And what he did.

Gabe breathes heavily, still staring down Trevor. Trevor grips the bloody scythe tighter in his hand.

Gabe is on the verge of snapping at Gabe.

GABE: (screaming) What about all the girls?! Angela! And…. (struggling) …and Jenny!

TREVOR: They deserved it just as well. My brother’s girl died, I think it’s only fair I take yours as well. (then) Jenny. Poor girl. Too bad, she was sweet little piece.

GABE: (roaring) Don’t talk about her like that.

TREVOR: (raising an eyebrow) Oh? Does it bother you that I had a thing for your girlfriend? Does it bother you that I…killed her?

GABE: F-ck you!

Gabe starts charging straight at Trevor. Trevor lifts up the scythe and prepares himself, runs at Gabe.

TREVOR: Let’s finish this. You’re the last one left.

Gabe tackles at Trevor, and Trevor swings his scythe at him! He fails when Gabe’s hand cuts in, blocking the weapon from stabbing him. Gabe thrusts Trevor against the wall, holding his hand from wielding the scythe.

Trevor knees him in the thigh and Gabe stumbles back. Trevor then tackles Gabe into the grand room and over a table, breaking it. As they hit the floor, Gabe feels around for a quick weapon. He finds one of the table legs. Snatches it as he stands up, just in time when Trevor rises.

Trevor swings the scythe at Gabe, fire in his eyes! Gabe backs away and swings the table leg at Trevor, hitting his shoulder. Trevor groans in pain and slashes at Gabe again, cutting his chest. Gabe yells out and backs away farther to the terrace windows and doors. The heat getting to him.

GABE: Sh-t.

Trevor cuts at his arm, ripping the scythe through his shirt! When suddenly, glass explodes everywhere! The backyard fire licks through the gaps of the busted doors and windows, spreading up the walls and ceiling.

They both take cover and throw themselves on the floor, rolling away from the fire. The camera pulls back, taking in a shot of the fire spreading inside like wild.

Gabe crawls away and Trevor gives chase. Trevor gets up before Gabe and runs after him, past Aiden’s mutilated corpse and into the study. Gabe knocks down a bookshelf before Trevor, but narrowly misses him. Trevor jumps over the bookshelf and chases Gabe out of a door, ending up in the main hall again.

Gabe turns left, bolts around a corner with Trevor hot on his feet, and runs into the ground level room wing. He reaches the end and swiftly runs into one of the rooms, slamming the door on Trevor!

But Trevor sticks the butt of the scythe in-between before the door closes on him. Then, he kicks the door open, sending Gabe to the floor. They’re in the middle of someone’s room. The only way out is through the burning windows, which is impossible.

TREVOR: You’re cornered. There’s no way out.

GABE: There’s always a way out.

Gabe makes a swift move into the room and Trevor follows. He runs for the closet, and when Trevor is about to stab at him, Gabe smacks the door against him!

GABE: For a guy who’s been secretly butchering people all night I’d say you’re f-cking clumsy!

Trevor hangs onto the wall as Gabe runs out of the room.

Cut to the hallway. Gabe appears, runs past the doors and makes a turn into the main hallway. He bolts across the grand room, disappearing into the smoke.

Trevor runs around a corner, searching for Gabe. He moves past the grand room and through the kitchen door. Everything is filled with smoke. Suddenly, he hears cracking noises from the walls. Is this part of the house coming down?

TREVOR: Gabriel! Come out, come out, wherever you are! I don’t have all f-cking night!

He sees the knife drawer pulled out… before he runs out into the hall again. When all of a sudden, a door next to him bursts open. Gabe jumps on Trevor, knife in hand, and stabs at him! The knife sticks into Trevor’s back, but not deep enough. Gabe withdraws the knife and attempts to stab again, but Trevor blindly thrusts the scythe into his shoulder.

Gabe screams bloody murder and falls to the floor, dropping the knife. Trevor screams out in rage and kicks Gabe’s ribs. Gabe coughs and groans, curling up into a ball.

TREVOR: All I wanted was to avenge my brother, Gabe! (kicks Gabe who grunts) Could’ve been a lot easier had you just went along with it!

Gabe crawl away down the hall as Trevor ruthlessly kicks him again, hindering him from escaping. They reach the corner of the foyer when Trevor stops. Gabe coughs blood.

TREVOR: So now you decided to bleed like your brothers? “One blood, one fraternity,” right? (chuckles) Pledging Alpha Zeta is finally becoming worth it.

Trevor flips the scythe in his hand. Raises it, ready to strike it down on Gabe.

IVY: (O.S.) Pledge this, assh-le!

With that, Trevor spins around to find Ivy, who smacks a heavy statue across his face!!! Trevor flies back against the wall and hits the floor, out cold.

Ivy helps Gabe up.

GABE: I told you to get out.

IVY: I did. But also I couldn’t leave you with a psychopath in a house on fire.

GABE: How’d you know I was alive?

IVY: Took my chances. Stop asking questions, you should be thanking me or else you would have been sushi by now! (then) C’mon, let’s get outta here.

Ivy turns back… to realize that Trevor is gone!

IVY: Oh, f-ck. We got a problem. He’s gone.

Gabe looks to find out the same thing, “Sh-t!”

IVY: Maybe he went through the basement or the garage?

GABE: We gotta move fast. The windows!

Ivy and Gabe walk across the foyer and go into the study. Ivy opens a window, gasping for fresh air.

IVY: You go first.

Gabe nods and starts climbing out the window. Only the sound of flames from the other end of the house are audible. It’s almost too quiet…

The camera twirls around Ivy, revealing Trevor behind her, a death stare on her. In a flash, he rams the scythe deep into her back! Ivy screams bloody murder, her eyes widely shocked. Trevor withdraws the blade and stabs her again.

GABE: IVY!!!

Halfway through, Gabe pushes himself back in. Ivy elbows Trevor before she drops to the floor, eyes closing. Blood streaming from her back.

Gabe tackles Trevor to the floor, and they rumble across the study. Gabe wildly punches at Trevor, who slashes at Gabe. But cutting or stabbing him isn’t working. Hellfire flickers in Gabe’s eyes as he continues throwing heavy punches on Trevor’s face, bruising and breaking it badly.

Trevor coughs blood, but manages to ram the scythe across Gabe’s face, slicing at his cheek.

GABE: F-ck!

Gabe backs off and stands up. Get’s an idea. Suddenly disappears into the main hall. Where is he going? Trevor stands up and slowly follows him. We can tell he’s exhausted. Everyone is. He looks over at Ivy lying dead on the floor.

Cut to the grand room. Quickly, Gabe picks up a table legs and goes into the kitchen. He finds a cloth and wraps it tightly around the end of the table leg, creating a home-made torch.

Cut back to Trevor. He nervously, but calmly, moves down the hall. His face is a mess, blood soaked from the bruises. The kitchen door kicks open and out comes Gabe, hiding something in both hands behind his back.

Trevor stops:

TREVOR: (grinning) Hit me with your best shot.

Gabe moves toward Trevor, revealing two Smirnoff bottles. One open, one closed. He throws the closed one at Trevor’s feet that smashes all around him. Trevor doesn’t even move, just stands there, blankly looking down on the pool of vodka surrounding him. Some has splashed onto his legs.

TREVOR: (sarcastic, weakly) Boy, I might slip.

Gabe sneaks into the grand room and stretches out the torch into the fire. As he does, he looks away from the heat, sweating. Gabe looks over at Trevor, who has moved close to him and punches his face. Gabe stumbles away, dropping the Smirnoff bottle. Vodka pours out of the open top.

GABE: No!!!

Gabe drops the torch and snatches the bottle off the ground. Then, he spills the vodka all over Trevor. Trevor backs away, confused, and away from the fire. Gabe takes the torch. Turns to Trevor, who realizes what Gabe has in store for him…

TREVOR: No, you can’t…

Trevor starts backing away. Gabe follows, hatefully eyeing him. Everything goes deathly silent.

GABE: (quoting Trevor) “One blood, one fraternity,” right?

Trevor’s eyes widen as Gabe throws the torch at him -- setting his robe on fire! Trevor cries out, wailing as he sprints into the foyer, flailing his arms wildly.

Everything goes mute. The camera slowly pulls in on a worn-out Gabe in front of the flames, watching motionlessly at Trevor, ablaze and running around madly.

The angle then cuts to Trevor’s alight figure that slows down to a stop and falls face-first in the middle of the foyer. He lies there, still… dead. Burning.

We speed up to a normal pace, on Gabe. He takes a deep breath. We hear sirens draw closer to the house… closer… until it’s like they’re inside with us, we…

Cut to outside the house. A flock of costumed people from the party return to the house to find police cars, ambulances and fire trucks clogging the street.

At the front door, a group of firemen break the door down. They run inside to find Gabe walking towards them, blankly staring down on the ground, completely dazed. They help him out of the burning house where everyone watches him and the flames that have now reached the back of the roof. There is horror in some people’s eyes, while some are still drunk, the majority is taking in the shocking situation. Puzzled to know what happened.

A couple of firemen walk Gabe toward an ambulance, and the sea of people seem to part as he staggers in their direction. Blood on his face and clothes. The crowd remains puzzled, a few quick mutters. Gabe disappears into one of the ambulances.

Cut to an ambulance where Gabe sits in, moments later. A paramedic is wrapping a roller around his body.

reply

(CONTINUED)

Gabe’s POV: Through the back of the ambulance, he sees coroners passing by with stretches with body bags on them -- when he sees paramedics with Ivy on one of the stretches, not in a body bag!

Gabe runs out of the ambulance to Ivy.

GABE: Ivy, Jesus, you’re alive!

PARAMEDIC: She’s losing a lot of blood, please stay back.

Ivy seems out of it, slowly waving one hand back and forth. They lift her into one of the ambulances, and Gabe jumps in with them. Ivy tries to say something trough the oxygen mask:

IVY: Tell me he’s dead…

Gabe laughs through the tears, nodding. Ivy rests her head back, two paramedics swarming around her.

IVY: They’re so closing down the chapter.

The doors shut, and Gabe glances out the window one last time at his burning fraternity house.

Cue Wolfmother’s “New Moon Rising (Yatch Remix)” (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ygG29eOlEfc) as the camera pulls back down fraternity lane from the back of the ambulance. A crane shot continues backwards, down the street and over the crowd below us, completing the scene.

We fade to black. But suddenly, shutters and flashes do the cuts of a series of crime scene photos:

-- a still of the firemen helping Gabe out of the front door, “Starring: Michael Stahl-David”
