Interesting, but... - Spoiler Alert

This is an interesting movie and I was entertained but there are a few problems with the plot.

For one, I find it hard to believe those greedy criminals would wait all those years to carry out their plan. It's more likely they'd go to Talbot sooner to ask for less money; then, whether or not he paid them off, they'd keep coming back over the years trying to get even more money.

The criminals should have realized Talbot was up to something. He would have realized there was nothing tangible they could turn over to him that would put an end to their ability to continue blackmailing him. The picture in the locket did not prove innocence or guilt. It just showed that he might have met Allaine at some point; maybe even had a relationship with her, but that's it.

Even in those years I suspect there were ways to investigate someone's background and ascertain their true identity. Talbot may have lost his memory but he must have had a job, family, friends, and been on record in some way. Why would he let all those years go by and not try to find out who he really was.

Also, how could someone who was living under an assumed identity, due to amnesia or for any other reason, ever get cleared to work in the diplomatic core. There would be an investigation for anyone but especially in his position. Whatever country one's in, I think the government would have to be sure they knew who what they were dealing with; especially since they were so clear in stating that scandal was not allowed.

Woman, man! That's the way it should be Tarzan. [Tarzan and his mate]
