A tin of caviar and a bottle of Veuve Clicquot '26, a good French wine.

Although if I have to share it with Major Strasser, forget it.

Sorta thinking that my bigger Q would be what Yvonne was having, and if she would talk to me after I sent it to her. Even if pretty sure Sascha would be giving me the lite pour after that regardless of what happened.

Camel Cheeseburger and a Champagne Cocktail. (side of fries)

reply

Trying almost everything on the menu would be cool, for sure. So, I'll take all/most of it!

reply

Ilsa.

reply

I'll get some of Carl's fine brandy

reply

A large manly tankard of cranberry juice.

I saw some fluff piece a while back about how there is actually a Rick's in Casablanca now. You could probably look up their menu ... maybe they do take out ... but you might need an exit visa for your dinner! ;-)

Oh yeah .... Rick's Café Casablanca --> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rick%27s_Café_Casablanca

I had dinner there in 2010. The food was above average, and the atmosphere of the place was quite nice. If I ever find myself back in Casablanca, I'd stop by again.

reply

Cool. Did they have pictures of Bogart and any homage to the movie, or is that disallowed by copyright?

reply

I don't recall exactly what they had, but I remember they had a casino room and various other homages. There likely were pictures, as I don't think you can prevent a business from putting up posters and such, but I don't recall.

A better plot with a side of interest

reply

For someone who has a low opinion of this movie you seem obsessive about it.

reply

Is it a big deal that I speak up about this particular emperor wearing no clothes? It obviously bugs you.

reply

Indeed.
