Aircraft Flown By the Bush Pilots

Anyone know what manufacture and models of the float planes were that the bush pilots were flying in the beginning of this movie? Thanks!

You know, I really don't know. But it seems to me one of the birds resembled a DeHavilland Beaver and one other might be some sort of Stinson. I know that's not the answer you're looking for, but maybe some old-timey airplane aficionado might sign in and enlighten us all!

I'll answer my own question. The plane Brian flew was a Noorduyn Norseman. This plane does look like a DH Beaver a bit. Johnny flew a Fairchild of some sort - F71 I think I read. Two others were Waco Custom Cabins (probably Kern's and Murphy's) and lastly Blimp's was a Waco YKC I think. The film makers did substitute some different planes from when they went from floats to wheels so I'm not sure of the types I listed - whether they were the float versions or the wheel versions. I found the information on a yahoo group who are, among other things, interested in bush planes.
