... on the parts of Lucille Ball and Agnes Moorehead... Lucy plays a witch and Agnes plays a happy congenial little darling... what a change for both of them! and this cast list has got to be one of the longest in history. LOVE Eugene Pallett, the fat guy with the low voice. his movies are always good, although this one is a little hard to watch since Lucy is so mean. Louise Beavers is the maid, as usual.. liberal use of background mattes in this one.

haha- that is so true- I just watched this film for the first time, and Agnes Moorehead is completely charming. And Lucy... not so much.

Good point but I was surprised by how delectable Ms. Moorehead looked. She wasn't a great screen beauty but she had a certain something in this movie and 'Dark Passage.' She had a certain attractiveness in her early movies that definitely made me stand up and take notice. A long ways from Endora.
