Seems awfully outdated, almost to the point of 'bizarre'


I just can't imagine any guy nowadays fawning over a dance queen to the extent portrayed in the movie. Pinks would no doubt be arrested for stalking. lol

I'm sure the audience was supposed to feel empathy for Fonda's character, but he was such a putz that I quickly became so annoyed with him that I was hoping he's get hit by a bus.

As always, Eugene Pallette was brilliantly funny.

When she requested they walk to Florida from NY, I would have told her to kick rocks, but he obliged her like a love sick idiot. No woman or man should be that much of a doormat, but it was a good film.
