As a lifetime Lucille Ball fan, I thought she was a wonderful actress in this movie. I hated her character, and that just shows how good of an actress she is, because she goes from a comedienne we all love from a hateful, mean-spirited character who you want to see die!
shareI was more impressed by her scene with Pinks in the bedroom near the end. She makes us sympathize with her (at least she did me!). I have also never seen her look more beautiful than in this scene - the big studios were past masters at lighting for glamor and fantasy.
