Why No DVD OR EVEN VHS?

This is one of the few Bogart movies from the 1940's until his death that has never been released on DVD or VHS. Even the Return of Dr. X has been released on DVD. This film can't be that bad. Even the Warner Archives have yet to release this movie? Anybody know why that is?

I noticed that too - at least its downloadable from a TV RIP on certain sites...

I have a private VHS copy of "The Big Shot" it was pricy but I wanted the film. It's not bad at all it's actually quite good. It's similar to "High Sierra" only more rapidly paced. Any movie of Bogart as a gangster is always worth seeing. He was so good at it, he just got tired of it after awhile.

Anyone who wants to buy a DVD-R of this title can email [email protected].

Maybe it hasn't been released because of that character in blackface and his golliwog

Write to Warner Brothers Archive Collection. They've been constantly issuing DVD's of the rare and hard to find stuff.
