english has many meaning isn't it? So someone can tell me about that 'gay', its fun me! Its a lyrics in Bambi when spring come!

I think it meant "happy" back then. Now it means "stupid" or "not straight."

I check on my dictionary, its mean not fashionable, not attractive and happy. But now, people just know one meaning **&%#&^%#*&!

"Gay" in that song means "carefree". Let's sing a (gay)=carefree little spring song.

UGH! Gay, at least way back in the day, means happy. Like it should still mean.:) (Likewise queer=strange in general, not just strange sexual orientation...[[blah]])

In the 40s gay meant happy. I'm assuming homosexuality wasn't a common thing back then and was strongly looked down upon unlike today that's it's more socially acceptable.
