I dont think its that deep. The fire symbolizes "MAN" as careless, the movie wasn't made as anti-gun/hunting propaganda.

How is that difficult?
Compared to other Disney classics of the time, the animation is less detailed and not as impressive.
It is much more than that, a lot of other propaganda.
Because they're going to say "humans are evil" in a kids movie, in any way shape or form. Ever analyze a film before?

What about the larger theme that life consists of propagation, fear, loss and death in an endless cycle? How does that fit into the picture?
