I had forgotten there was no transformation

Abbot and Costello Meet Frankenstein is one of my favorites and that has three scenes where Talbot changes, two of which you actually see the change (the other is when he is unstrapping Wilber from the table; he just changes without us seeing it). I rewatched this today for the first time in years and couldn't believe you just see his feet change. Why did they do that? At least we saw him change back.
