The Ending didn't do it for me!

This is a cute movie mostly, but the ending was a bit too pat for my taste. Gable is his usual charming self and makes the movie worth seeing. Peter Lorre as a Chinese dude? Fascinating.

Keep in mind, Peter Lorre has a good run playing Mr. Moto in the self titled series.
As far as the rest of the movie goes, I found it entertaining once I suspended all disbelief.

Entertaining story with excellent production values. This is about as authentically exotic looking as it would be possible to get without actually leaving southern California. Even the Japanese wearing German helmets, backwards, looked cool.
