Amy Changes Her Accent

During the first half of the film Anna Neagle played Amy with a clear English Midlands accent. The second half (after she became famous) Neagle played Amy without any accent at all. In fact, Amy suddenly spoke with a middle-class English accent (much like Anna Neagle's natural speaking voice).

I appreciate that viewers from other countries might not pick this up, but being English, it was very noticeable to me.
