Black Ice

After seeing this movie many, many times growing up, I just learned a cool bit of trivia. They poured black dye on the ice to make the scene more dramatic! I knew something was different. It looked like they were skating on water. You can see the water splash at some points in rhe routine and other times you see them skimming through liquid. Black dye makes total sense now! Thanks, internet! :-) As a kid, I thought they poured extra water on top of the ice and filmed fast before it froze.
