I'm Second

I ordered the Spider series a couple of weeks ago.

OK, I'll reply to your post, since you are at least indicating you will have the opportunity to watch this serial.

Just finished it and loved it. As a serial fan, I find the Horne serials very enjoyable and a nice change of pace from other serial presentations. The comedy element is handled quite well, which can't be said for other serials; the first Dick Tracy being a prime example (Oscar and Elmer are just terrible). I like the fact he gives personalities to all the characters, not just the main ones. Henchmen, suspects, police officers and others come across as less "automatic" than they do in many serials.

Not saying the Horne's are the only good serials, there are many classic serials that rank up with the best Horne's.

Looking forward to your thoughts on this serial.

I'm going WHAT IN THE WORLD IS THIS????

It's been nearly two years, so I'd now have to watch it again.

I automatically look for something good in these things, determined I will enjoy them.

Aside from both Spiders, I've got both Batmans, Superman, Captain Marvel (by far, the best), Phantom, Captain America, Flash Gordon (didn't enjoy that one. Terrible audio).

I recorded Dick Tracy and the Green ARcher off tv, very bad recordings, then the station ended for Green Archer, so I had to watch the ending online.

Again, I've made a point of enjoying them, but for some odd reason, the Batmans have been the only ones I have returned to.

This is IMDb, where replies to posts on lesser known subjects can sometimes take several years (if ever) to materialize. Trust me, I've been there.

If you can't recall the serial, I definitely recommend a re-watch, it's a good one.

I have all the other serials you mentioned and agree, THE ADVENTURES OF CAPTAIN MARVEL and BATMAN are my two favourite of the bunch.
