Beautiful Score

One thing seldom discussed about this picture is the beautiful score by Gerard Carbonara. A real heart-breaker at times. The music and Harry Carey. You have to be awfully crusty not to be moved.

I liked the dramatic element of the score particularly when Young Matt was walking towards Daniel's house in the static long shot near the end. It gave the scene more tense atmosphere.

Agree with the comments , the music is haunting even the part where the group of people are singing before the old blind lady regains her sight. Wonderful soundtrack throughout.
