Freeport, California? SPOILER

As the usual suspects are being questioned at the end of the movie, Nick asks Maguire, the nervous ticket seller, where he was picked up [by the police] and replies, Freeport. Nick then said, "Freeport? That's only a couple of hundred miles from here."

There is a Freeport near Sacramento, but it's about a 100 miles from San Francisco. There's no Shreveport, CA, so I didn't hear the reply wrong.

Why would Nick say 200 miles?
