Well, I guess I should be satisfied. The pooh-bahs at IMDb have added Ava Gardner to the complete cast listing of "Shadow Of The Thin Man". It's been fun, hasn't it?

Waltz time indeed. Incidentally, if you've a copy of "How To Steal A Million" starring Audrey Hepburn and Peter O'Toole, check out the 13.28 to 13.32 minutes mark. I believe I've identified Herbert Lom in a cameo as the priest on the right. I've asked IMDb to update the database accordingly.

lmao, the OP will probably never read this, but i am doing a crossword puzzle as i was watching the thin man movie and one of the hints was '____-bah (big shot) anyway , i had no clue what the answer was, just by luck i read this posting LOL, i just thought i mention it, what are the odds???????? Thanks OP !!!

Thank you. It still gives me a warm feeling seeing her face as she walks by Nick and Nora's car, a 1941 Lincoln Continental, I believe. And what a face it was.

Just started watching this and Ava caught my eye as well- I thought "who was that?" and backed up the dvd to watch it a few times. Yep, I agree the dimple in the chin makes it clear it's no one else.
